We found Citrus Place for my relative. It's in a good location where my relative wanted to be. The place is really clean. The staff was very nice. They helped us move in. They showed us where everything was. There are lot of activities for senior citizens. We signed a one-year lease, and it was a very, very good price. We were there when they served lunch, and that looked very good. They have everything there that you need. They have a theater and an exercise room. They just have it all. The reception lady was very welcoming and gave easy directions on where we needed to go and what we needed to do. And the financial person there helped us a lot about payments, like how we can do it with little effort. And the staff who gave the tour explained all the things that they offer. She was great.

I toured Citrus Place. I liked the dining room. They have activities and things like that. The staff was good. I remember they have a gym, but I don't remember seeing the library.

What I like best about Citrus Place is that it is homey. It's a little bit more modern than the other facility, but it wasn't so much that we felt out of place. I was glad that right across the way they had the memory living facility just in case it ever got to that point, so it was very conveniently close by. The staff members were always very happy and smiling. The facility was very clean. I like the layout. The layout seemed a lot easier to get around. The residents were singing and participating.

My mom has been here for almost three years now and we all rest easier because of it. The care staff is so kind, hardworking, the food is good, plenty of activities… we wouldn’t have her anyplace else.

Citrus Place was nice and clean. It seemed to have a lot of activities. The rooms were nice and clean. The people were nice. The lunch didn't look very appetizing. I had a sandwich and it was just tuna and bread. So, I don't know how good the food is there, but everything else seemed very nice. The staff was very friendly and nice. They had exercise classes, an exercise room, a gym for physical therapy, a theater, an activity room, and a dog park.

Citrus Place was more upscale. Everybody was happy and everybody was talking to everybody else. It was like a community. It was nice. It's above mom's pay scale type, but I wouldn't mind living there, because it was nice. There's a lot of community involvement and they did a lot for their residents like celebrating their birthdays. It was very colorful and very open. There were a lot of people together. Some were sitting outside as a group and were chit-chatting. A lot of them had their dogs with them, and they were dressed up for the 4th of July shirts and even the dogs had some scarf on for the 4th of July. It was a very positive thing. They showed us one available room and it was nice. I liked it. They decorated it just to show how it looked with furniture. The only thing my husband noticed was inside the shower, the handles and things like that needed to be replaced, but other than that, it was very nice. It was something that I would like if I had to move to a place like that. It was really a cute little one-bedroom apartment and they're very friendly, very professional, and very sweet. We got along really well. They offered us meals, but we declined because we had something else to do. I had a drink though. They had water out there by their dining area. They had watermelon water and I like that you could serve yourself. When we left, Aurora gave us a box of three lemon cookies, which was very nice and very unexpected. They were delicious.

Citrus Place got everything. They have exercise classes, a beauty salon, and a movie room. They have an on-staff chef, kind of restaurant-style serving. The facility was beautiful. The staff during the tour was excellent. They offered a meal to me, and I declined. One of the going-away gifts that they gave me was a box of cookies, and they were excellent.

Citrus Place was wonderful. That was the place where we were ultimately going to put my mother, but she refused. Aurora was wonderful. She was my contact person, and she was so helpful and explained everything so well. I also met with Dora, who was the nurse in charge, and she did the evaluation of my mother and she did an excellent job as well. The rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, and well cared for. The dining area was very nice. They don't just hand you one thing. You can order things and everyone there was very pleasant. The grounds were beautiful and very well tended. I did not notice any activity. The only thing that I saw was the residents having lunch. They have a restaurant and a canteen where you can get things all day, which was nice to know, so you didn't have to just wait for mealtime. I saw a listing of their activities that looked very nice, although I didn't see any taking place. They have a movie night. It's a nice place. I wish my mother would go there.

I like Citrus Place. It was not too big and not too small. It's just right as far as the general size. It wasn't that far to the dining room from any of the rooms, and there were fewer people that you'll be running into through the day. The number of residents was not too large and not extremely small either. They had some neat-looking activities. When we got there, they had a special exercise class. They were sitting in their wheelchairs, and they were using these plastic bands that stretched. I also saw the balloons left over from when they had been exercising, like hitting the balloons around. It looked interesting. I was very highly impressed with the staff who helped me. We're not going to use it because it doesn't have two-bedroom, two-baths. But there's nothing wrong with that. We didn't taste the food, but I saw the menu. They have a separate breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, and then they have all-day all the time stuff from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and it looked really good. They gave us some cookies and those were good.

My mom is living in Citrus Place right now. It's been a good experience, she likes the place. She likes the privacy and independence that she has, and the rooms are spacious. There are some maintenance tasks that I had to call out that seemed lacking, but recently they were remodeled, so everything's great now. They have a wide range of activities. Overall, it's been a pretty good experience. One thing she did not enjoy was that the food was not the best, it seemed like they used a lot of packaged foods to feed the residents. I've noticed that because I have actually dined there, so when I see Mom I take her out, because the food there's not that great. They do chair exercises for the seniors several times a week, they do trips, and take everyone to go shopping at different local stores. They also have a lot of special events, and those are the times where they actually have pretty good food, because it's like a special occasion, and they celebrate holidays and bring in entertainment sometimes. The admin staff at the front office are wonderful, they're great, and very helpful. I just have some concerns about the maintenance staff, because they seem a little frazzled and shorthanded.

The people at Citrus Place were very nice. It's a big place, and almost like you're in a hotel. It's two stories. You have a little apartment when you're in assisted living. Some rooms are upstairs and they have a balcony, while the ones that are downstairs have a little patio. There's a really good view out the windows. The grounds are nice. They have very long halls, but they said they would accommodate you in a wheelchair. They are really attentive to the residents. A lot of residents kept their doors open, and I saw some of them walking around. They have a dining area, which is really big and nice. The one who gave us the tour was Aurora, and she was very nice. There's a couple that lives there that is 100 years old that just celebrated their wedding anniversary, and I think that it's so neat. They have a lot of activities, entertainment coming in, and things like that. They have a pool, a salon, a podiatrist that comes in, and someone to do manicures and pedicures.

Citrus Place was very good. We saw the memory care and the assisted living portion and out of the three facilities that we visited, I liked them the best so far from an overall facility perspective to the staffing that was there. They were newly renovated and they have a lot of different activities. Plus, they are larger. So I think they were a little bit more organized with most of their activities. I just fell in love with the place.

I've toured Citrus Place. It was not as modern nor new as the other one I visited. The apartment themselves were dated and not as nice on the inside, and the courtyard was also not as nice. It was just an older facility and the other facility was newer. The staff was very helpful and very courteous. There's nothing wrong with the place, it was almost the same amount of money per month as the newer place I toured, but it was just 20-plus years older. They had studios, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedroom units. They had a lot of activities for the people, but they did not have an inside theater. The courtyard was nice and they had a pool, but the pool was not as nice. The staff were very nice people and very professional.

Citrus Place was nice. It was bright and cheerful. The staff stood up for me more than anything else. They were excellent ad very friendly. The rooms were also very nice and very bright. I liked that there was lots of sunlight. They have a little hair salon (which my friend was very impressed with), laundry facilities, and a pool. They have everything. The only downfall was the parking. It was tight.

I went to Citrus Place. I put a deposit down. I love the place. Mom and Dad will move in at the end of the month. I walked in and the people that I saw that lived there all looked nice and neat. There was a group hanging out watching TV. I like the security there. Whoever designed the place, knew what they were doing. It was aesthetically pleasing and very relaxing. The place is spic and span. Right off the bat, I looked, and I thought, 'Yeah, this looks nice.' The staff so far is excellent, and I just like the whole setup. I thought I was lucky to get my parents in. My dad needs the care, and my mom can stay with him, and he'll have the necklace. When he needs something, there's an aide on his aisle, and they'll come and help him. My understanding is that they're very quick and so that's what I'm looking for. My mom needs a break, but they need to be together because my dad would be lost without her. This allows, I think, the best of both worlds. The staff was extremely helpful. I like the setup that they'll be able to get up, get dressed, and go down and have their breakfast, and in that setting, I thought, this would be good for my parents to get up and go down the hall. Another thing I like, my dad is a veteran, and they have a veteran wall of all the veterans that currently live there. And as they passed on, they don't take the pictures down, they raise them above, so they're higher. These guys and women have passed on, but they're still being honored, and I like that.

Citrus Place is an older facility, but it's been updated. I toured the assisted living and the rooms are much more spacious than most of the newer facilities. It's clean too. The staff appears to be knowledgeable and caring and all of those things that you want them to be. Their exterior areas are nice. I was trying to get my son and daughter-in-law down here well before they needed to be, but they weren't coming, so I gave up. They have lots and lots of amenities. I don't remember particularly what but I know they did. It was deep in COVID at the time so many things that they had listed as amenities, they weren't doing and that's not their fault. They had a large living room area and a large dining room. It's a large facility with multiple buildings. They had all the usual activities like bingo and card games. They had some music events and they had trips scheduled. They had religious services too and the same thing everybody has.

The Citrus Place has been very good. My dad is in their assisted living. I've only been there twice but it was very clean and had very nice people. They are very cordial, very helpful, and sweet. I felt good energy from them and the location. To the best of my knowledge, he has tried their activities and he likes them. So far, he has tried things he can get into like bingo.

We liked Citrus Place because the rooms were a nice size. My mom liked the fact that she could get to the restaurant area where all the activity was, without having to walk a long distance. The people are very friendly and they offer a lot of activities for seniors. They showed us the independent living part and the person who toured us around was very warm and friendly. She answered all our concerns or questions that we may have had, and she was very pleasant. For the rooms, they only offered a refrigerator. We have to bring the microwave ourselves. My mom said the food she had was very tasty and she liked it. I know, once she lives there, she'll find a lot of different items on the menu, and then we'll be going there to eat with her as well because family members can go and eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner with their loved ones. They have a courtyard and a swimming pool. For fitness, they do aerobics, and fitness in the swimming pool, and they have a courtyard with miniature golf shuffleboard. My mom will be having a little balcony and a little patio, once she moves in, too.

Citrus Place was nice. It wasn't as comprehensive as the other facility, and it didn't have any freestanding houses, but it has a lot of really nice apartments and amenities for the seniors. The physical appearance was very nice. They took me out to a backyard area or a courtyard, and it was like a grassy area between the buildings. A lot of people like to go out there to stroll, to sit, and to walk their pets. The staff I interacted with was very nice. It's not as independent as the other one. They have apartments there for people who didn't require assistance, but you would expect to eventually.

We went to Citrus Place. It was good. It had the emergency button all the time. It had a step-over bathtub, which was a problem, but it did have a balcony, and a patio, which was nice. This one has a pool, definitely has a really nice setup pool area. When you walk in, you kind of walk right into their bistro, which is kind of different, but it's a cute little bistro, and visitors can meet there with their loved ones. That's kind of nice, and they had a nice sitting area.

We've decided to go with Citrus Place for my mom. We have not moved in, but went to see their assisted living. They were very, very gracious, and very pleasant. They gave us a nice tour, explained how things work, and gave us a brochure. It was a nice visit. They gave us menus, they showed us what the meals looked like, and they offered us a chance to eat. My mother didn't really want to eat that day at that time, it was earlier than we normally eat. They were all just very pleasant, very helpful, and they seemed genuine, really wanting to help.

Citrus Place was really nice. It was so cute. I loved their apartment. There was someone that I went around and toured with and she was the nicest person. I really liked her a lot. The rooms were nice, good-sized, and I liked that they had a balcony in it. I just liked everything they had to offer there. My grandfather is a veteran and I remember that they had a veteran's wall, and I thought that it was really nice for them to have good memories. They provide good care and it made me think that when one of my family will move there, it would be like the right people to be around with. The staff is so good and pleasant. It would be a nice place for my grandparents to live.

My friend's mother lived at Citrus Place before, and I helped her move in. It seemed like a pretty decent place and they were very helpful. I thought the place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. She was always fed on time. They had an alarm system, like a code that you use to come in and out, so nobody can come out of the memory care area. I really like the security; you feel a lot safer. It seemed like they serve pretty decent meals and in a timely manner.

We chose Citrus Place for my wife because of the staff, amenities, and the way it looked. It's nice, like a Marriott. The staff was friendly, and there was a connection with them. We liked the square footage of the living spaces, the accommodations, the finishing on the buildings and stuff, where you have carpet versus tile floors. It wasn't a hospital, it was like a home.

I had a brief introduction to Citrus Place, but it seemed nice and friendly. Like the independent living seemed comfortable, my friend seems like they're in their own apartment. I also visited my friend in the dining room while she had her lunch. Her daughter and grandaughter used to come and eat with her there, they said they had good food. It was a community dining area. It looked like they provide a daily outing ride, it seemed that they had some type of activity program. I guess the value for money is OK. It's expensive for that kind of care, and I think it's high.

I went to look at Citrus Place before when I was looking for a place for my sister. I liked it. It was very clean. Of course, it was pre-COVID. It was a couple of years ago. We were looking for respite, and they provided respite on a weekly basis. The staff was very nice. We looked at a studio at that time for my sister and it was pretty small. The rooms were nice and clean. We entered where the dining area was and it was set up very homey. There were tablecloths on the dining room tables. It was very nice. At that time, the food was very good. It was really nice. It was a restaurant-type atmosphere where you could order off the menu and they would give you choices. That was nice, too. The staff were very nice and friendly. The facility was very clean, but older.

I liked Welbrook Arlington. It was pretty nice, and what I liked is that even if one of your parents is in assisted living and one in memory care, they could still have meals together. The model room seemed pretty nice. My aunt was sharing a room with another person, I think to help with the cost. I liked the dining area, I liked how the 2 facilities are connected, and everybody was friendly and helpful. It was close to my work. The staff was pretty hands-on. They had a nice outdoor area where you could stroll around, and they even have a pool you could use in the summertime too, so that was pretty cool.

My friend moved into Welbrook Arlington. The staff is very helpful, the place itself is nice and clean, and it seems to be very well-run. We're very pleased with the decision we made. There's a library with lots of books, they have live entertainment that they schedule often, and they have exercise class. There's a lot of activities that they have posted on their monthly calendar, there's a lot for everybody to do. They also have a bus that takes people shopping or on outings. We settled on this community because if my friend's condition changes, they have different levels of care without having to move her to another place. The community is very secure, the food is good and the staff is very helpful. They cover all the basics.

My mother was a resident of Welbrook Arlington. It was a nice community. The staff was really helpful and we liked it a lot. I also really like the facilities. The staff was very accommodating and attended to what our mother's needs. Her room had a living room, a bedroom, a large bath, carpet and we could decorate how we wanted it to. We brought over furniture she had at home. They had games and activities during the day, throughout the day. They have meals. The staff would bring the memory care patients over to the assisted living side for certain activities, and to get out.

I have friends who live in Welbrook Arlington and we visit them often. It's an excellent community, but they had no vacancy except in the nursing portion. I'm very pleased with them, and they're not that much more expensive. Both of my friends have 1-bedroom apartments, and I like them better than the studios. They were excellent. The food is very good, and they have a very classy dining room. You walk in and it's elegant, and that really makes an impression. It's the same feeling when you're dining out, like when you're going to dine at a restaurant. The staff is wonderful and they're very good with my friends. They also have a really good schedule of activities, and they really know how to cater to people. They hire people to come in and perform, so the residents have a lot to do and they can choose a different activity every hour.

I was a resident of Welbrook Arlington, but it was too expensive for me, although I think they do a relatively good job. There's a lot of complaints about the food, but institutional food was never going to be like home cooking. They had quite a few activities for the residents, like Thai chi, aerobic classes, poker, games, and entertainers that came in periodically. They also had trips to the local casinos and organized lunches for the residents around the area, and that's just part of it. I think the place was secure and well-maintained. They had an arts and crafts room, library, pool, and so on.

Welbrook Arlington was welcoming and pleasant. The cleanliness could be a little bit better, but the utility rooms, dining room, and the areas where they have activities were very clean. They had a salon, a lovely dining room, a lovely patio, a room to walk, and a movie theater. The staff was very warm and friendly. They have quite a few amenities. They offer painting art lessons and have an art room for those who are independent. They also have an area for games and do shopping trips.

Welbrook Arlington is a little old and not very home-like. They have popcorn ceilings and things like that, and it wasn't very inviting. I was very impressed with Welbrook Arlington. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, the entire place including the food was good. The apartment was very clean with new carpet and paint. The cabinets in the kitchen area looked a little antiquated, but it had a good smell to it. There were lots of activities that were very appealing. Considering what I know about pricing in the area, I think theirs was reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We chose Welbrook because it had the best facility for the best price. So far, he’s been there since July, and it’s been great. It’s very clean.

Welbrook Senior Living Arlington is outstanding. It is a superior facility. I like the way the bathrooms are set up with the showers and the wheelchair accessibility. This facility is top-notch all the way. The people are just sensational. But I cannot afford it. The cost is prohibitive for us at the moment.

Welbrook was nice, and the staff was very informative. The room was clean and spacious. I did witness a couple of activities and it looked like they were well-thought out and the residents enjoyed them.

The best thing with Welbrook is the staff about; they are very friendly and attentive to my mother’s needs. It’s fairly modern, clean, everything is serviceable and operable. It’s almost like an extended-stay-type hotel room. There accommodations are well-maintained. The building in general and the rooms are very well-maintained as well. The dining setup is very nice. Multiple selections per meals on a daily basis and weekly menu change. They also have the ability to do room service, which is quite nice. They have numerous activities. I am extremely happy with everything, and so is my mother.

What I like about Wellbrook Senior Living is that it has assisted living and memory care in the same building. The food is good, but their dining area needs to be bigger. The place is clean.

Welbrook Senior Living was our favorite. We really liked it. It was clean and spacious. They had outdoor patios and a nice dining room. They had arts and crafts. They had a movie theater and a hair salon. They allowed pets.

I really like Welbrook. The facilities are all new because it is newly remodeled, and they do not have very many residents. It seems very peaceful, and I think it will be good for my mother. She kind of grew with it as they are adding patients in. She has a very lovely large room that we are able to decorate ourselves. We bring her things and decorate it so it is homey. The main rooms are nice also. I think the staff is doing a good job. They are very helpful. The food is good, and she seems to like it. I don't have any issues with the food. I think it looks like pretty nice. The dining area is very nice. She eats with all the other ladies, and it is like eating in the restaurant. They have activities. They play domino and bingo. They can watch TV if they want in the living room area. They usually play games. They can go out in the garden and water it if they want or go on walks out there. What impresses me most is the peacefulness. It seems very quiet and peaceful. They have a code to go in the door so that no one can wander. It is very secure.

My experience at Wellbrook was satisfactory. It was exceptional in one way where the residents were very cohesive and very group-oriented. They have pets, and I like how pets were involved in their therapy. They have yards for their pets and care for their pets, so it was unusual in that sense, but effective. The rooms were spacious. I ate there, and the food was good. It was different everyday. It had varied nutrients. They have field trips, games, and water aerobics. Security was very good too.

Wellbrook Senior Living was our top choice. The facility is open and almost like a hotel environment. Their rooms are the most spacious ones I have seen, and I like their setup the best compared to other facilities. The place seemed clean and nice. The staff answered all my questions, and they also followed up with me.

I have a parent in independent living for over 3 years. At first move in it was great! Very "homey" staff seemed like family. Food & dining very good. Then things started to change. The bank took over and fired most of the long term management. We started noticing cutbacks in everything, staff, quality of food, housekeeping etc. The facility sold and new ownership and management held meetings and made promises of renovations and improvements. All the while rents continued to climb and costs to residence for little things like a delivered food room tray continued to rise. The major renovation was very disruptive with cost overruns and delays. The security gates were removed. This leaves the facility open to intrusions 24 hours a day to two separate buildings. No one monitors the CCTV cameras. Due to this and other expenses, more staff turnover, staff cuts, degradation of food quality @ times was unedible. Complaints to management fell on deaf ears. The response "we are working on it". Several times dining room service would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to receive food at the table. Complaints to management: "we are working on it." The one renovation that was necessary was to install overhead fire sprinklers, the rest of the renovations did not add any benefit to the residents. In fact, it was a waste of money. The quality of service & dining has suffered tremendously. I complained of some "unethical" billing practices and threatened to report if changes were not made. If things do not show any further improvement within 90 days I will be looking for another facility for my parent.

We have my mother moved into Wellbrook. This was actually a place that my sister knew from a friend of hers, so it was like the first one we happened to drive by and look at. The reason we chose it was my mother because they let her have both her dogs. From the information I got from other places that sent me emails, they only took one small pet, and she had two. The other nice thing really when we went and then saw the apartment was that they had a little sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. I don't know if the other ones did or not, but she liked the fact that she can have a frozen dinner or something if she doesn't want to go to the dining room. She hasn't been to anything yet; she's only been there a couple of weeks, but they have an art studio, and they take them to the different restaurants and movies. They also have the usual bingo. They do have an option where you can have them manage her medication, her doctor's visits, and everything, but she is managing her medication, so we are not using that service right now. One other thing that is totally different is their point system. The services go by so many points, and that's where the cost is. Whereas I noticed in some of the brochures that other places sent me, there was just a flat fee for these things that they did whether you needed all of those things or not. The staff is nice overall. I think it is a fairly new place, so there are still some training issues that are going on. There have been a couple times when they forgot to take her to dinner, and we were there, but she does have a pendant that is like a medical alert thing, so that she can call them. I don't know if it’s the transition or training thing or what happened that they forgot her, but they are working on that. So they were responsive to our concern.

We first toured Welbrooke without our relative, and we were very impressed by everything that they offered, so we brought her back for a visit. At first, she was reluctant because it is quite an adjustment, but then the staff was so excellent in following through and understanding her hesitancy for the move and eventually, with their help, she made the move, and it has been great. They have so many activities during the day. They have a choice of 3 different dining rooms that have chefs. They have tablecloths and a menu on the table. They can also eat in their room, which is a lovely little apartment with a balcony. She can have her own furniture and decorate it the way she wants it. Pets are included though she didn't have a pet. There is a pool, a spa, a little putting green, a beautiful art room, and a separate craft room. Near the dining room, they had bingo or different exercise classes. The calendar is so full, and there is something for everyone. They were all extremely friendly and welcoming to her. We feel that Welbrook fits what our relative needs, and it is the perfect place for her.

I visited Welbrook, but I was not happy with them. I do not have anything bad to say about them. I just was not as impressed with them as I was with the other places I went to. I do not like the area that it is in. It was nice. They had a little pool that looked like a hotel pool, but they did not have anything that can help those who are handicapped to go in and out of it. It also smelled really bad. The rooms were really nice, and the staff was really nice as well, but it seemed like it was full of people, and it did not seem as personal as the other places.

I liked Wellbrook because it was light, cheerful, and seemed to be well-managed. I have already recommended the facility to some of my friends. I looked at the menu, and they had a varied menu. They have card games, crossword puzzles, and church; they had a variety.

My experience was excellent at Welbrook Senior Living Arlington. They were very receptive, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. My friend lives in a studio apartment and has been there for about three months now. I recommend it highly. It is in a good area and is within walking distance to grocery shopping. They offered all the things that we needed. The staff were very helpful. They listened to what we had to say, and they recommended different options.

Rents will be going up significantly over the next year due to new ownership and to pay for the cost of renovations. Family member has lived her for 2 years and staff turnover is high and management really doesn't listen to the tenants.

Welbrook at the time had the most things on my list, but things have changed a lot, as they were undergoing a major renovation when I moved in. It seems very difficult the first six months. The contractor did things wrong and they had to be done over again. It was an absolute mess. I was in a temporary apartment in the assisted living because there wasn’t anything available to fit my needs in the independent living building, but eventually, miraculously, they found a 1-bedroom and made an offer to stay We have three meals a day provided, and most of the food choices are pretty good. I happen to be lactose intolerant, so there are times I can’t eat what they have on their menu. We have a microwave only in our apartment, so I can’t cook anything here in my apartment, nothing major of any kind. They have a number of activities every day. Communication from the staff to the residents is very poor; decisions are made that we have no input on, and that is my biggest concern.

We were impressed with everybody at Welbrook Arlington Senior Living, and I liked them. We were treated well. We tried their food, and it was good. They had nice apartments. However, they didn't have any two-bedroom apartments.

Welbrook Senior Living had made a lot of changes. But it was a very affordable middle class facility. The rooms were nice and large. A one bedroom was usually around $2,000.00 with three meals a day, seven days a week; laundry and cleaning service. The facility itself, the building and the set up was pretty good. It was open and bright. It was a nice place. The staff and the residents were very friendly. They had activities. It was a pretty good place to go to.
