"The rooms are pretty nice, and the private rooms are really spacious. The rooms where you share are a pretty good size, and they’re roomy enough. The rooms are like little apartments. The staff is helpful. They do like karaoke, they do some activities, and they do sing. They do little party gatherings for them. They are always doing something. The food looks pretty good, and they seem to be enjoying it. The dining area is really nice, and it’s big enough for a family to come and join in with their love ones. For security, you just can’t get in and out. "

"Mom is here. They have a huge campus, but when you go in the front door, there is a dining room, and then there is a hallway with all the assisted living rooms. The next hallway over is the skilled nursing section, so she really doesn't have to go too far to go to the dining room. The good thing about this is the nursing station for the assisted living is right up the hallway from her room. They help her with her meds. They help her bathe a couple of times a week, and the price is just right for that. It is a good price for them being there around and checking in on her every day. It is a beautiful facility. The rooms are very nice. She has her own room and her own bathroom inside the room. She has a lot of closet space. They have a lot of things that they do with the residents there. They have physical therapy there. The nurses are very nice and very caring, and they make sure that she gets her meds on time. I know my mother can be a pain sometimes, but they are able to handle it."

"We toured Brookdale Sunwest. The appearance was really positive. The neighborhood was not so great though. It's a little rundown part of the city. However, when you step through their gates, we were really pleasantly surprised because things are well kept, and it looks much more desirable than what we would think from the surrounding neighborhood. The staff member who toured us around was extremely pleasant, helpful, not pushy, very warm, and very accommodating. It was Valentine's Day, and they gave us a free lunch. We sat in the dining room and met some of the residents, and that was a very positive experience because we could talk one-on-one with the residents without anyone else around. We liked the food a lot. It wasn't five-star dining, but we really liked it. It was kind of like comfort food. It was the kind of food you would probably fix yourself at home. It was like homestyle cooking. I like the food a lot. The server was fantastic. She was warm, accommodating, and it made you feel really comfortable."

"The thing I liked best about WellQuest of Menifee Lakes was that it appeared to be extremely clean, neat, and well taken care of. It's a relatively nice place to visit. The thing I didn't like was that it was too large and impersonal. The person that showed me around was the only one that I saw aside from the person at the front desk. She was very well-spoken and very knowledgeable. They had a lot of activities for the residents to do."

"I toured Sun City Gardens. We visited a couple of rooms. The rooms were clean and nice. The dining room was clean and nicely set up, and everything. They showed me a few things and showed me how I can get more money from the government. The staff was okay. The facility was clean, too."

"I am a new resident, 2 weeks, and this is the place if you need assisted living. My wife and I share a cozy one bedroom apartment with our own furniture and we moved our sweet girl cat in with us. The amenities are great, the activities wonderful and the cuisine compares with a good restaurant, with infinite varieties of menu choices. The staff is friendly and professional, from Jennifer, the director and Karen, nurse in charge if caring and eager to help. I am grateful to found a home here with my wife. "I visited Air Force Village and it wasn’t quite what we expected, although it looked like it was a nice place, but it was expensive. You have to buy one of their homes and that wasn’t too good, although that’s opened up for all people now. It used to be strictly for military officers. The staff was very friendly. "

"Mission Commons has been very nice. They had patios and the food is super awesome, it’s my mom would like. The staff was nice. If you just need something, they will just press the button and someone will come. They have an emergency button. They have people that will come and try to see if the internet is working, but it’s not as much help as I thought it would be. The people there are nice. They have a menu but mom is a picky eater. She was totally there for like a month and she vent over and broke her hip and was in the hospital for two months. She does say that she will participate in activities. "

"The people at Valle Hermosa seem nice. So far, I have no complaints. The neighbors seemed very friendly. The condos are two bedrooms and two baths, and it has a dining area and a living area. Some apartments have fireplaces. We cook our food, do our own housekeeping. The city government of Hemet can provide buses if you want to go some place. "

"I will move into The Village Hemet. It's a beautiful facility, and it has several amenities that I can use. I've got friends there already. They have wonderful meals, maids, and transportation services, so it's all in one location. A couple of my friends said you don't even have to leave the building if you don't want to, and they take complete care of you. The staff have been great and helpful in getting the process started and completed. They've been really good. I had lunch a couple of times, and it's like a five-star restaurant. It's very clean. It looks brand new, although it's been there since either '89 or '98, but it's a beautiful facility. It was like a five-star hotel."

"The staff at Vista Montana Senior Living was pretty friendly. They were in the process of doing some remodeling, but the areas that we saw were very neat and very clean. They had a nice-sized dining room. The only drawback there was we didn't see too many of the residents. There were a couple of the residents in the TV room who were both asleep on a chair and couch. It seemed like there wasn't very much going on. The staff was very friendly and very informative. "

"My husband and I live in the independent living community of Soboba Springs Park in San Jacinto. They have a pool and all kinds of activities going on. They have things going on all the time, as far as men's outings, women's outings, and going out to eat and walking. They have swimming exercises and pool tables. Every holiday, they have a big thing going on, like Christmas parties, which is really interesting. They really celebrate every holiday. The one we had for New Year's Eve, you bring a snack for 6 people, and that's all you do. They have everybody share the food, and they have live music and dancing, and all that kind of good stuff. The people who keep the park up were really good, too. We rent here, and the rent is also really good."

"We moved into Four Seasons at Hemet. We like the fact that it is very upscale compared to the one we left. We prepare our own meals. We have an individual house. The outfit that runs the place is a nonprofit organization. They have a racquetball and pickleball court. There are swimming pools and all kinds of activities. The have about 15 resident-run activities, like card games, physical activities, and that sort of stuff. The upkeep and cleanliness is topnotch. We just got here, so we haven't participated in any activities yet. We know about the activities, and we intend to participate as we get settled. The rent is half of what we were paying at the other place."

"Our experience being in The Oasis Community is very good and I've been here for 16 years. They're all single-family homes, independent living. It's a beautiful community that's gated so there's high security, and it's well-kept. The staff is very helpful, they do a good job. They don't provide any meals but there are lots of activities and lots of clubs and committees to volunteer on. They've got a beautiful swimming pool and tennis courts. There's a large clubhouse that's beautifully done, it's been redecorated in the last few years. There's also a gym, a library and a lot of available exercise classes. It's reasonable in terms of value for the money. It's in an attractive location, Menifee is a relatively small city, about 100,000 people, but it's growing quickly. There's lots of shopping very close by, so it's a very well situated location."
