"I am a new resident, 2 weeks, and this is the place if you need assisted living. My wife and I share a cozy one bedroom apartment with our own furniture and we moved our sweet girl cat in with us. The amenities are great, the activities wonderful and the cuisine compares with a good restaurant, with infinite varieties of menu choices. The staff is friendly and professional, from Jennifer, the director and Karen, nurse in charge if caring and eager to help. I am grateful to found a home here with my wife. "I toured Ivy Park at Murrieta. It just seemed well-kept. They seemed to care about their patients, and I was just impressed with the whole facility. They have a very nice dining area open all day long, which was very impressive. They had a beauty salon there. They had physical therapy there. They have doctors who came in and visited. The staff was very accommodating."

"I was surprised at the size of the rooms. The menu looked delicious and to know if you don’t care for the 2 entrees you do have the choice of hamburgers and sandwiches. Steve M. was full of information and thorough. He answered every question we asked. The staff was friendly."

"I liked everything about The Chateau At Harveston. It was great. I think the number of activities they had stood out to me. Their dining area was a little more conducive to what my mom likes, and they had everybody eat at the same time, not on separate schedules, unlike some of these places where you have to be either on the 11:00 or the noon meal time. They do everything all together so that you get to meet everybody if you want to. They showed me three different rooms and they were very nice, roomy, and comfortable. They each had either a balcony or a patio, and so they have everything that we're looking for."

"I visited Air Force Village and it wasn’t quite what we expected, although it looked like it was a nice place, but it was expensive. You have to buy one of their homes and that wasn’t too good, although that’s opened up for all people now. It used to be strictly for military officers. The staff was very friendly. "

"My mother and I absolutely love Golden Oaks staff and amenities. She has lived there for 8 years. They provide 3 meals prepared by a chef. Weekly cleaning, transportation, free washer and dryer and many great and fun activities. A wonderful place to live at!"

"My parents will be moving into Mission Commons. I've toured the place, and it was attractive, clean, and friendly. The first intake person was wonderful, very pleasant, and informative, and she took her time answering all of our questions. This is a two-bedroom unit because one of the people is blind and handicapped, so they have that available downstairs. It is very spacious and comfortable. We really love the room that they gave us. They usually have a cafeteria with meals and socializing, but right now they're bringing meals to their room. I did not get into any specifics, but I know they have social events out in the large, lovely foyer. For the men they also have ball games playing, like the Super Bowl and things like that. They have a beautician there on staff; I am not sure if that is open now, but they have that available, and that was really good for me to hear because that was one of the things I was looking for -- somebody there who could attend to that. They have transportation to appointments and to the grocery store. I liked the location because it is private, but it is still close to town. I don't know the job description of everybody I talked to, but I talked to five people, and each one has been very informative and helpful."

"We visited and I thought the apartments were very nice. The dining room was also very nice. I thought the staff was very professional and kind. I liked the library."

"My experience at Wellbrook was satisfactory. It was exceptional in one way where the residents were very cohesive and very group-oriented. They have pets, and I like how pets were involved in their therapy. They have yards for their pets and care for their pets, so it was unusual in that sense, but effective. The rooms were spacious. I ate there, and the food was good. It was different everyday. It had varied nutrients. They have field trips, games, and water aerobics. Security was very good too. "

"The people at Valle Hermosa seem nice. So far, I have no complaints. The neighbors seemed very friendly. The condos are two bedrooms and two baths, and it has a dining area and a living area. Some apartments have fireplaces. We cook our food, do our own housekeeping. The city government of Hemet can provide buses if you want to go some place. "

"I will move into The Village Hemet. It's a beautiful facility, and it has several amenities that I can use. I've got friends there already. They have wonderful meals, maids, and transportation services, so it's all in one location. A couple of my friends said you don't even have to leave the building if you don't want to, and they take complete care of you. The staff have been great and helpful in getting the process started and completed. They've been really good. I had lunch a couple of times, and it's like a five-star restaurant. It's very clean. It looks brand new, although it's been there since either '89 or '98, but it's a beautiful facility. It was like a five-star hotel."

"The staff at Vista Montana Senior Living was pretty friendly. They were in the process of doing some remodeling, but the areas that we saw were very neat and very clean. They had a nice-sized dining room. The only drawback there was we didn't see too many of the residents. There were a couple of the residents in the TV room who were both asleep on a chair and couch. It seemed like there wasn't very much going on. The staff was very friendly and very informative. "

"My husband and I live in the independent living community of Soboba Springs Park in San Jacinto. They have a pool and all kinds of activities going on. They have things going on all the time, as far as men's outings, women's outings, and going out to eat and walking. They have swimming exercises and pool tables. Every holiday, they have a big thing going on, like Christmas parties, which is really interesting. They really celebrate every holiday. The one we had for New Year's Eve, you bring a snack for 6 people, and that's all you do. They have everybody share the food, and they have live music and dancing, and all that kind of good stuff. The people who keep the park up were really good, too. We rent here, and the rent is also really good."
