"My dad went to The Village Hemet for assisted living. It was a really nice place and he was there for about 10 months. The nurses were there, and they were on top of medications. The residents weren't as active. They tried to do activities. They would wheel my dad down for singing groups and for Valentine cupcakes but when you're confined in a wheelchair and more immobile, it is harder to get someone to participate. They had in-house beauty shop. They had very good foods and my dad liked it. It was a really nice place. They had very caring staff. Their rooms were studio rooms that had separate bathrooms. The rooms were bigger. My dad had a room to put a recliner and a table. He had a television, a small table, and a chair to sit down to if he has company. It was nice and the price was comparable to others."

"I visited a year and a half ago. It was very clean. They had activities going on for the residents. Everybody was friendly and kind. They had a physical therapist that was there working with several residents at one time. The rooms were clean and everything. They're all bachelor, like single units (the ones that I looked at anyway), but I was very pleased. It was nice. Just too expensive. They had some attendants out walking people that were in wheelchairs. They're very caring and try to get people to participate in some of the activities that they had on, like coloring and or playing cards. They were encouraging people to get involved, which is good. They had a garden area that's so nice, too. It was shaded, well manicured, and well taken care of."

I feel comfortable and confident every day while she’s there but she’s in the best possible care. "Mission Commons looks like a castle. It was so nice, and they even have a dog park. They have fast talking staff, and they don’t give me time to think, but they are very nice. The place is wonderful. It was clean, decent, and pretty. They have card games and a pool table; it's like going into a senior citizen recreation center because they have everything in there. "

"I liked Brightwater Senior Living because it was clean, the people were very nice, and residents sitting outside seemed happy. The food smelled wonderful. I thought the apartment was very nice. It had new carpet, and they were getting ready to put in a new bath tub; I didn’t like the tub that was in there, and the lady told me they were removing it, so it was very accommodating. "

"When we went to Pico De Loro, I noticed the people didn't look lively, almost like there was little engagement. I know that they were engaging with them, but maybe it was the setting. They were nice, and it was clean, but it seemed only surface clean. It looked a little grungy and dusty. It had a horrible smell the minute we walked in the door. The person who took us around was nice, and they had a peacock on the ground and a colorful parrot like a macaw bird."

"My wife and I have lived at Altavita for seven (7) years and we dearly love it here. We live in a 2400 SF single level home on a spacious lot consisting of a well maintained lawn, large shade trees and lovely flowers and shrubbery. Altavita is a well laid out community which lies at the foot of the mountains and the amenities are unsurpassed. They include, but not limited to: Indoor swimming pool, well equipped Fitness Center, Chapel, Dining Rooms, Café, Libraries, Computer Room, Assisted Living , Skilled Nursing and Special Memory Care. The living accommodations include single homes, duplex homes and various apartment types. Unlimited activities are available i.e. Bridge sessions, Poker sessions, Book clubs, Tours, Concerts, various crafts groups, Resident Committees, Etc. Atavita’s staff includes a “Top Notch” chef and the food services are outstanding. Maintenance of the living quarters is the responsibility of the maintenance staff and they do an excellent job. Similarly, the weekly housekeeping services are performed in an exceptional manner. There are many factors that make Altavita a great place to live. However, none top the friendliness of the residents. Without doubt it’s the wonderful neighbors and residents that one meets and is befriended by that make Altavita such a wonderful place to come to “TO LIVE”."

"I toured Sun City Gardens. We visited a couple of rooms. The rooms were clean and nice. The dining room was clean and nicely set up, and everything. They showed me a few things and showed me how I can get more money from the government. The staff was okay. The facility was clean, too."

"WellQuest of Menifee Lakes looks like a country club: the facility itself, the setup, and the decor. That's where rich people should be. Their staff was very nice and professional. They had a coffee bar and snacks and all that, but I didn't taste their food."
