"I like everything. I liked that it was very clean. I know what it's like working with patients who have memory issues, and it's hard to keep them clean. But the facility was super clean. They tried to kind of keep them engaged in activities. All the staff were very friendly. I like it. The facility itself was nice. I think that they also make an effort to provide good and tasty foods that the patients like a lot. Everything about the facility was really good. They offered me some of the food that they provided. It was a very good tour because they gave me the opportunity to do that. The staff who gave me the tour was pleasant. The dining area was very nice. It was very good. The flavor of the food was good; I liked it. And the presentation of the food was very attractive as well."

"This facility is very nice and clean. The staff is exceptional. From the front desk to each and every caregiver/pal. My mother had a very difficult time adjusting to the move (she's 92). However, the staff has her happy as a clam now. She is always commenting on how nice everyone is (resident's included) and how kind and caring the caregivers are. I believe her biggest adjustment was being away from me (her younger daughter). I've been her caregiver for years. I am moving into Sun Lakes 55+ across the street from The Lakes in a couple of months. I'm sure she will be completely adjusted once that happens. I can't say enough about this place.....it's fantastic!"

"It was too formal for me. But the people were nice and the food was good. It just didn't appeal to me. It was clean and neat, the residents were happy, but they were pretty formal although I didn't mind that one because I liked that it is in California and is near where my family is."

"My husband moved to Sun City Gardens. It was very nice and seemed very peaceful. Everything is clean. There are some exceptional staff members. There are lots of activities. He's not able to participate yet because he still can't see, but they have beach ball, volleyball, bingo, and outings. The dining area is good."

"I've been very happy with them. The people are always smiling, which makes me feel comfortable because it means that they are happy there and are being treated correctly. My husband's room is simple and plain, but clean. I've been very happy with the staff. The food is not gourmet, but it's quite good. They give the residents a daily listing of what's available, and they just recently got transportation that takes them on excursions."

"The location of Maple Guest Home was perfect. The facility was excellent. I liked the patient-to-staff ratio. Everyone was very professional. I feel that they would be able to perfectly supply the need that we need for my mom. They have a place outside. Mom likes outside to where she can be nice and comfortable and get sunshine. I liked the whole atmosphere."

"Rooms are always kept clean, bedding is new every week. Rooms are always tidy and clean. Smells fresh and clean all the time. Food is always fresh. Prepared each day. Caregiver always gives updates and calls when needed. Easy to talk with her and always have a clear communication line with her. House is well maintained and cleaned at all times. Residents are given meals with snacks, even late night snacks if requested. Visitation is open 7 days a week all hours."

"I toured WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. When I got there, the power was out. They were doing well. They were doing some work, and this is a facility that has elderly, and they need elevators. I had gotten there right at dinner time, and people were unable to get downstairs to eat. The staff were taking meals to people who couldn't come down to the room. They didn't let the power being out faze them. They were handling it. Things were going on, but they still greeted me pleasantly and took the time. The residents were in the bar. Residents were everywhere. The residents were talking. Some of them didn't want to be in their room with no power, but I could see that they weren't. They were free to come and go as they pleased. The staff and everybody were very nice and helpful. I didn't have an appointment, so they didn't have to show me around, but they did. They took me to a room. They showed me the room as we were walking down the hall. The person I spoke with was making sure people were OK as they opened their doors. A very beautiful facility, but it's very small."
