"My mother was at Brookside Healthcare Center for about 16 days. I didn't have any dissatisfaction with them. They provided physical therapy so she went once a day. They hit the mark as far as medication and follow-ups. The personnel were pretty personable so it was a good place. She's happy with the staff. She tried a dessert and it looked like it was pretty adequate. "

"I have been to Plymouth Village Redlands. The one thing really nice about that place is when you want to move there, when you're in your later 60s, then they will care for you until the passing of your life. Once you move in the fee doesn't go up at all. I had gone there several times through my church, and we had done a lot of singing there and visiting there. We were together in small groups, and it seemed like people for the most part were pretty content with being there and the care and attention they were being given. The touring bus that they have there is always ready and open to take people to places in the evening time and the day time, not just here in Redlands, but even outside Redlands. We went to the dining room and it reminded me of my mother's and my grandmother's cooking, it's a huge variety, it's not repetitive of each other, week in and week out, and even month to month, it's very unusual, and very different. When we were all outside walking around, the staff all greeted us and welcomed us there."

"I was a new tracheostomy patient also with a new PEG tube. The staff is highly professional and caring! Very friendly and devoted nurses, house keeping staff, great PT and OT, and a marvelous Respiratory Therapy team . I learned the essentials along with my caregivers of trach care and received wonderful treatment. The facility is very clean and attractive and is professionally led and run. I recommend it highly! "

"My mom was at Highland Care Center of Redlands. That one has mixed reviews because she would have to call me on my own phone so I could tell the front desk and have someone come to the room. They provided the physical therapy and stuff like that, but if you put your room light on to call, they just never respond to it, so she would call me at home, and I would call the front desk to tell them that she needed something so that they could go and address her concern. Once I would get a hold of them, they seemed to be pretty quick to respond. They were very nice. The facility seemed clean. It was a little bit dated, but clean. I wouldn't know about their activities because my mom was non-ambulatory recovering from surgery. And the value for the money, insurance covered it."

"Heritage Gardens is a clean and inviting facility. The room that our relative stayed in was not a private room, but he had good access to entertainment and stimulation while in recovery. The nursing staff were very calm and professional, which is important as our family member was initially suffering from severe confusion following surgery. The residents appeared happy and well-adjusted. Their staff were very good at answering our questions. Visiting hours were very good, and the facility did an excellent job of handling things with our family's insurance company. We felt very fortunate to be so close to such a great nursing home. They made the family feel much more secure about leaving our love one with them rather than having him come back home when we were not going to be able to provide quite the same level of care that he needed in order to recover fully. "

"I'm currently in Linda Valley Care Center. I've been here for about six weeks. I've been in three of them here in the Redlands Valley, and this has been the best caring facility I've seen. They're very attentive. It runs like a machine. Everybody's got a job to do, and they do it, and everybody's happy. This care center here is pretty good. They're really out there for you. Everyone's helpful. My room is a shared room. It's a very welcoming place, well-kept, very clean, and the staff is constantly cleaning. The people have a lot of compassion. The food is excellent. It's been completely remodeled, freshly painted, and everything works. You get what you pay for."

"Mom was at Reche Canyon. Their care service seemed better than the facilities that we had been before. Some of the patients there have bad conditions, but they do have qualified caregivers. The CNAs were much better than at our previous facility. The place seemed clean, and their rehab department was very good. Mom went there in a really bad shape, and she left with enough ability to come home to try to get better, which she did. They did what they needed to do. "

"My brother has been in Grand Terrace Care Center for about three weeks now. They're absolutely wonderful. The facility itself and the workers are awesome. There are three beds in his room, and it's very clean. They all have a TV. The staff couldn't be better. They take good care of them. They keep me updated, which is what I really want because I'm an hour away. Apparently, the food is good, but he doesn't have very much of an appetite. It's very clean and professional. He's on Medicare."

"My mom is in Braswell Family Senior Care. They’re very adept at caring for Alzheimer's patients. She never has to ask to go to the bathroom. They anticipate her needs before she even has the need. They deal with it so positively and so calmly that the patients always have the attention that they need. If there’s negative behavior from the patients due to their Alzheimer's, they have trained professional treatment from the caregivers, nurses, and CNAs. They treat the patients with love and respect. My mom has really bad outbursts, and even with her difficult behavior, they love her anyway. I’m so happy my mom is there. They have alarmed doors. You have to have a code to get out of the unit where she is. If they had a tendency to wander, they have an ankle bracelet, so they’ll set off an alarm. The food is delicious. She has gained weight, and she is healthy. She had a sore that wouldn’t heal, and now it’s healing. The difference is amazing. They really monitor her. They know her every move, and they communicate with me. We’re so pleased. Her room is clean, and it’s an older place. The bed is clean and comfortable, and she has her own dresser. She is allowed to have pictures on her wall so she can make it as homey as she needs to. Their focus is more on the patient than the room. It’s very adequate, and they don’t let her in her room by herself very often. They try to keep her busy and out with the other people into activities. They’ll watch movies. They have exercises where they’ll bounce the balloon back and forth with one another. They’ll have a quiet time where they’ll dim the lights and play soft music, and a lady puts candles around so it’s very calming. They’ll play bingo or cards. They’ll have a time where they’ll read the newspaper together and do current events. Everybody gets to be involved at whatever level that they’re at. When somebody is not able to participate or starts acting up, they take them out and put them in a different area so nobody upsets anybody. They handle it as best they can. "

"My relative has been at Mill Creek Manor since March 30. They have all different people there. It has been really good and helpful. They're really good about answering questions and letting us know exactly what's going on. Residents are able to go out because they have a nice yard with tables. If we get there at lunch or dinnertime, they'll let bring my relative's tray out to him so he can sit and eat with us at the table outside. He is still a little confused, but they have been very good to him. They have a calendar up of activities daily. They have done everything we asked. They make sure that my relative is up to date on his shots, and all of his medications are now straightened out. He had gotten pneumonia, and they took care of it. They called us, told us they were going to take him to the hospital, and got him back. They had taken care of everything."

"My husband almost fell off the wheelchair if we hadn't caught him. I talked to the nurse about it, and she said that the wheelchair he has is too small for him and that they would keep an eye for him. But it disturbs us a lot because if we hadn't been there, he would have gone right to the floor. The room he's in is a little too crowded. But aside from that Braswell's Yucaipa Valley is very clean and really nice. "

"A caregiver from Accent Care takes care of me on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm. He is very good. I would definitely recommend this excellent agency, but they are not registered with Medicare. "

"My mother had rehab in Cedar Mountain Post Acute Rehabilitation (Braswell's Hampton), and our experience with them was excellent. I was very happy. They had bingo going on all the time, music, movies, manicures, and every day there's an activity. They're under a very expensive remodel right now, so part of the place had been remodeled and part wasn't. The care that she got and the people are very loving. I visit there every day and sometimes at odd hours, and everyone was very attentive. I really like that they had six rooms with three on each side of the hall, and a nurse and an LPN always in the middle. If anything is needed, they're right there. The rooms were adequate in size but needed a lot of work. The paint and the bathroom were a little outdated. They were working on that when we were there. The staff was wonderful, really nice to my mom, friendly and great. I really liked the staff."
