"We are very happy with Chapman Convalescent Hospital. We have not had any problems with the care. We feel that it offers very good care. I have not tasted their food, but it seems to be fine. They have an activities room, and they have bingo, people who play music, card games, and board games. "

"My husband is currently staying at Woodcrest Post-Acute & Rehabilitation. I already told my husband if the time should come that I need to be in rehab, put me there. I would go there. The staff is very friendly and caring. They're treating one patient at a time, and they take their time. No rush. The food is better than expected. The facility is spotless. Right now, he's not doing any activities, but they encourage movement, which is important."

"Extended Care Hospital Of Riverside is nice and the staff is nice, too. Mom's room is clean and there are three residents in it. They have a TV room and a large area to walk around outside. Mom had been here before and we liked it, so that's why we brought her back."

"Community Care & Rehabilitation Center have short-term and long-term care. What I didn't like about them was the way they're going to finance the move of my mother. Mom would have been given $35 a month, and all her income will be taken as a share of cost during her stay. Also, she would have to live in a bed instead of her lift chair which she didn't prefer. For somebody who was fit, but in need of rehab care, it was an excellent facility. There were things I didn't like how they interacted with the patients, they're cold, straight to the point, and a little unrealistic."

"When I chose Villa Health Care Center, I was told that they did have long-term care. Now I'm being told that they're transitioning and not going to have long-term care anymore. We're very happy with this place and they've been very nice to my mother. The place is small and older, but it is clean and has everything she needs. This place seems more like home. Mom feels like she's a person here and not just a number. They have Pokeno, Bingo, music, and they just had a special Thanksgiving dinner, which was wonderful. They also have a TV room, popcorn movie days, Wii games, word search, a trivia board, religious activities, and arts and crafts."

"The staff at Alta Vista is good, but my husband isn't. Wherever he goes, he's going to have somebody that’s going to handle him because he's real mean. Right now they're trying to find a pill that will relax him so he won’t hit somebody; they’re trying to find some medication for him. It’s very nice and very clean, and it seems to be well-run; they're good. They’re doing their job, and I’m satisfied. "

"There’s Community Care on Palm that’s really nice. It’s for mild and moderate memory care and for those who don’t act out. It’s beautiful. The staff was polite, but my mom was too far advanced with her Alzheimer's to be accepted there. We were able to take a short tour, and they explained that she didn’t fit into the culture of their community. They have rooms with 2 beds in each one and a hall that goes in a complete circle. You have an inside courtyard with windows that you can look out of, and there’s an outside courtyard that's gated. They have a beautiful little yard, and people are very calm there. The staff seems very nice and very adequate. Everybody gathers together in the dining room. It seems like they have a really nice community. It looks like it’s very family-oriented, so everybody is together and gets along really well. They were very impressive. "

"Everything was cool at Orangetree Convalescent. The staff was nice, the dining area was clean. The tour was really good. "

"My mother-in-law was at Arlington Gardens, and she was very happy with the physical therapy department. She was 88, and she was down for 3 months. When she left the hospital, the doctor said she wouldn't be able to walk, and when she went to Arlington Gardens she could hardly sit up, but within a week, she was standing and walking. The staff was very nice, friendly, and courteous. The physical therapists were all knowledgeable. They really cared about her safety. They were really good. When you went and signed in with the check in people, they had lemonade and tea right there at the front door. They did a lot of games, and they made it fun. The rooms were really nice, and the food was really good. It was a very clean and well-kept facility. It is a very nice and cute facility. "

"Cypress Gardens Convalescent Center is fine and the general appearance is clean, nice, and generally friendly. The staff has been generally good to my son, and if we have to go back again, we wouldn't hesitate. The dining area just needs a new cook. My son has been there for rehab for a while now. They have physical therapy for a certain limited amount of time and it's good. They have average rooms."

"My wife and I took a tour of The Village Healthcare Center. It seemed like a really good facility. We would love to have taken my mother-in-law there. I think it would've been a good fit. If I was older and sick, I would go there personally. The facility was like a 5-star hotel. The nursing staff ratio was one nurse for two people."

"My husband was at Redlands Healthcare Center. It was really good. Everybody's friendly. They took good care of him. They gave him physical therapy. He seemed to enjoy it. All the people working there were friendly. They were real good about taking care of the patients. The staff was great. They were constantly cleaning. I don't think I ever saw the place dirty. It didn't smell like it was dirty. It was always nice and clean. My husband was very picky, but according to him the food was good."

"The people in Terracina Post Acute are very helpful and caring. They're a very busy community, so it's sometimes hard to get someone on the phone. I was down there one day and I helped a CNA change my sister, make her bed back up, dress her, and change her. It's incredible to me what the staff can do with my sister because she is about 300 pounds. I'm impressed. The place looks like an old mansion that someone converted into a hospital. It's really pretty when you walk in; there are two grand staircases on either side. Going down the hall, you'll see people who are rehabbing that are going to get better and go home. They also have residents who have dementia or Alzheimer's, but they are locked in in one area so they don't get lost. The people who are able mentally and physically can go outside and sit in the sun or smoke a cigarette. The people I met and talked to seemed happy. An old lady was playing the grand piano there one day and that was really cool."

"My father is at Bradley Gardens Convalescent. One of the biggest factors for us was that it accepts his insurance. Every so often they will have different people come in as entertainment. They do crafts. The staff members are there fairly quickly when needed."
