Community Care on Palm

The Community Care on Palm was nice. The place seemed clean, and the people seemed friendly. It was a little more homey. They had carpets on the floors and wallpapers. The director was really nice. It looked like the residents were getting a lot of attention. I liked the place. It was a secured facility.

There’s Community Care on Palm that’s really nice. It’s for mild and moderate memory care and for those who don’t act out. It’s beautiful. The staff was polite, but my mom was too far advanced with her Alzheimer's to be accepted there. We were able to take a short tour, and they explained that she didn’t fit into the culture of their community. They have rooms with 2 beds in each one and a hall that goes in a complete circle. You have an inside courtyard with windows that you can look out of, and there’s an outside courtyard that's gated. They have a beautiful little yard, and people are very calm there. The staff seems very nice and very adequate. Everybody gathers together in the dining room. It seems like they have a really nice community. It looks like it’s very family-oriented, so everybody is together and gets along really well. They were very impressive.
