"We used Right at Home Rancho Cucamonga for a 1-day thing. So far, the care they provided was adequate. I was pleased with the caregiver that we had. She was prompt, knowledgeable and caring. I think that the price is too expensive. She administered the medication on time and kept my wife dry and clean. I would recommend this agency to others."

"Advantage Health Systems was OK, but they weren’t doing anything useful for my wife, and so we weren’t getting any value out of their visits here. They were skilled nursing, so they were evaluating my wife’s recovery from her depression and her ability to take care of herself. Basically, they’d shown up, asked how she’s doing, go through her medical history, and didn’t offer much in a way that we think was useful. We finally got them to send a psychotherapist who did a good job of suggesting how to break out of her depression. They had a lead nurse who did the initial evaluation and another girl who came in, and then, finally, a psychologist specialist came over twice. "

"This company is the worst healthcare company you could go with. They lie to there clients saying they have nurses for you when they really don't or will schedule you a nurse to come out but no one shows up and they have no back up. When in great need they don't fo there part. So please if you need reliable care go with another company. "

"The VA Hospital assigned Accent Care to come in for a couple of weeks for my dad for his postop care. We did retain them to continue to check my dad and do light household duties, run errands, basically just keeps an eye on him if there is anything that needs to be reported. They come in three days a week for him now. My dad has been pleased with them. They also have another division where they provide medical assistance if needed and that's what my dad needs when he first came home of the hospital. I have been very pleased with Accent Care. They have been very responsive no matter what we needed. "

"We have been using Companion Home Health for six weeks now. My husband's primary care doctor chose them for us. The caregivers seem very professional. They come when they say they're going to come. The physical therapy has helped the most. My husband is at least able to get up and down out of chair and bed by himself more. He is walking with his walker longer distances. The nurse comes and takes his blood pressure and temperature and checks his diabetes. They make sure that his diabetes is under controll. Every two months, a podiatrist comes up for his diabetic feet. At one time, my husband woke up one morning, and his right arm was swollen and he could hardly move it. I called them, and they sent a nurse within a couple of hours. So I was happy that they could come and I didn't to have to pack him up and take him to a doctor or emergency room. Also, they are working with Medicare and the supplemental insurance, and they don't bother us with financial things at all. I like that too. "

The First Step: A Home Care Assessment How do you know when your loved one needs help? If your loved one has lost weight, has an unkempt appearance, is living in a house full of clutter, or is exhibiting mood swings, those are warning signs. While these signs could indicate serious problems, they also may indicate that your loved one simply needs some extra help. For example, weight loss might not indicate an illness; it could just mean that your loved one is uncomfortable driving, hasn't been able to get groceries or is not remembering to eat. If you suspect your loved one needs help, The Personal Touch, LLC can make a professional assessment. We'll visit your loved one and determine what type of assistance they may need. Our goal is to make care-giving easier for you and your family. Our no-cost home care assessment is the first step, and we'll help you decide on the next step.

"We were using Nova Home Health for my mom. A nurse came in and took her vitals, inquired about her health, and was in communication with her primary. They came once a week, but right now my mom is in the hospital. The nurse communicated well with my mom. She communicated with me as well via text if needed, and gave me status on the visit. It's a great service. She was on time. We will be using this agency once my mom is discharged."

"We've been using SunCrest Home Health Services, Inc. They were always nice. When my mom was with us, she did fall or she'd hit her leg and one time she fell in the doctor's office, and they were always there. If she needed to re-rebandaged even if it was Christmas eve, they would get somebody out there. They were always responsive. There were only a couple of times that there are some people that came out that my mom did not like, or I did not like, but they corrected it right away. They provided somebody to shower twice a week, they have a nurse three times a week, and physical therapy. Sometimes we get good physical therapists and sometimes, we didn't. Most of the time we get good physical therapists. So physical therapy was kind of off and on. The nurse was great. She offered a lot of help for us and she cares about my mom and she came out like three times a week so she kind of knows what was going on with my mom."
