"I like everything. I liked that it was very clean. I know what it's like working with patients who have memory issues, and it's hard to keep them clean. But the facility was super clean. They tried to kind of keep them engaged in activities. All the staff were very friendly. I like it. The facility itself was nice. I think that they also make an effort to provide good and tasty foods that the patients like a lot. Everything about the facility was really good. They offered me some of the food that they provided. It was a very good tour because they gave me the opportunity to do that. The staff who gave me the tour was pleasant. The dining area was very nice. It was very good. The flavor of the food was good; I liked it. And the presentation of the food was very attractive as well."

"Citrus Place was more upscale. Everybody was happy and everybody was talking to everybody else. It was like a community. It was nice. It's above mom's pay scale type, but I wouldn't mind living there, because it was nice. There's a lot of community involvement and they did a lot for their residents like celebrating their birthdays. It was very colorful and very open. There were a lot of people together. Some were sitting outside as a group and were chit-chatting. A lot of them had their dogs with them, and they were dressed up for the 4th of July shirts and even the dogs had some scarf on for the 4th of July. It was a very positive thing. They showed us one available room and it was nice. I liked it. They decorated it just to show how it looked with furniture. The only thing my husband noticed was inside the shower, the handles and things like that needed to be replaced, but other than that, it was very nice. It was something that I would like if I had to move to a place like that. It was really a cute little one-bedroom apartment and they're very friendly, very professional, and very sweet. We got along really well. They offered us meals, but we declined because we had something else to do. I had a drink though. They had water out there by their dining area. They had watermelon water and I like that you could serve yourself. When we left, Aurora gave us a box of three lemon cookies, which was very nice and very unexpected. They were delicious."

"My father is enjoying his time here. He appreciates the staff and they're all very kind and helpful. The facility has everything he needs and he enjoys the library. The rooms are large and a good size. His room didn't come furnished, so we had to bring stuff in, which was nice because we got to get him exactly what would work for him. It's more of an apartment. They have two large dining rooms so they can accommodate all the residents at the same time. They have a library."

"I visited Air Force Village and it wasn’t quite what we expected, although it looked like it was a nice place, but it was expensive. You have to buy one of their homes and that wasn’t too good, although that’s opened up for all people now. It used to be strictly for military officers. The staff was very friendly. "

"My dad will be moving into Manzanita Village at Rancho Belago's memory care. We just wanted him in a facility with lots of care, and it's a beautiful facility. During our tour, they were informative. We walked through the facility, and it was clean everywhere. The residents were dressed and looked clean, too. They have plenty of staff and I think they had an on-site nurse. They also seemed friendly."

"My mother is at The Gardens of Riverside. I like it. It's a nice place. The people that helped us move her in were great and they always call if there are any questions or give me any updates on her condition or anything. They're really good and they're nice. I like the facility. It's clean. They have a beautiful little courtyard for the residents. They make sure she eats and they have a lot of activities. When we first went, they were doing karaoke and stuff like that. They had an Easter thing and they invite the family members. I love the staff. I haven't had any issues with the staff. The food looked fine and it looked like a balanced meal. I haven't seen too many, but I went one time when mom was eating lunch and they have a good menu. They came out and brought her a dessert, so that's nice. I like the atmosphere. Some people are watching TV, some are talking in a seating area, some are outside and there are rocking chairs and a little water fountain. I like sitting outside when I go see her because it's really nice and airy and there's grass and stuff like that. It's a nice place. I'm glad I found it. It was a blessing. Whenever I had any questions or anything, the staff was amazing. They're always sweet. They're good. The director, Stephanie, is really awesome and very personable. When I first went, I was almost in tears. It's just heartbreaking and she gives you a hug. She's just comforting. It's super clean. They keep everything nice and clean. My mom doesn't do all of the activities, but I see their little calendar and when I go to visit her, they're usually doing something. When I was visiting with her, they invited me to go to the Red Hat Society Club with mom."

"Wildwood Canyon Villa was nice and clean. They had a lot of activities and a lot of different wings for partitioning off different classifications of patients. Overall, I found it to be OK. It was older but not really old. The staff was respectful but just didn't sell me on the place. "

"We toured A Silver Amore Senior Home. What I liked best was that it was very spacious. It was a relatively modern home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the residents seemed happy. I liked that it was all female, so my mother would be comfortable with just all women about the same age. They had two rooms that were private rooms and the others were shared rooms. But even in the shared rooms, they had a nice partition, like a hospital, and the partition was up from the ceiling, so you would have your privacy there. And everybody seemed to be happy there, so that's what we liked. I only saw the woman who ran it, a registered nurse, and that was a plus, and then there was another woman there doing the cooking. The structure was very well maintained. The layout was very nice. It was like one grand room; the kitchen, the dining area, the den, and the family room were all in one space. It was very nice, so it would be easy to move back and forth, and a separate room where families could visit more individually. If they came to visit, they could sit on the couch, and there was a little dining table there, too. You can have food or something like that. So, that part was very nice, too."
