Nursing Home Communities in San Jacinto, CA

"My wife is in the long-term care at ManorCare Health Services-Hemet. I like the individual personalized level of attention where the nurses actually establish a relationship with the patient. However, there was one problem. Her first year there she sustained an accident. She was being incontinent changed and she fell from bed, and that's one dark spot with my relationship with ManorCare. It was not a pattern of negligent behavior on their part, it was a one-time isolated incident. We did file a lawsuit and we prevailed. The settlement was made and we moved on and she stayed where she is. The staff is very personal, personable, and professional. Although for a while their management had a policy of having minimal shifts come in. They were understaffed, they were spread too thin, and consequently, accidents happened. But as far as I can tell, that has been corrected. They have good staff, but due to management policy, the staff was sometimes pushed a little too hard. The food is excellent, my wife said even to this day it's very good. The place is very clean, I am told by nurses that it's one of the cleanest around, there are also no foul odors; it's spic and span."

"My husband had stayed in Palm Grove Health Care, and I think their services are excellent. The staff is very caring, very attentive, and things didn't happen. They follow protocol, and their building is secure. So, you can't just walk in or walk out. Sometimes, he stays in a shared room, sometimes he's in a room by himself, but they're all very nice, neat, and clean. Because of COVID, all of their activities are kind of restricted. So, the activities person has been going into the rooms and doing activities with the person. They do have activity rooms for them to use, and I think they were at one point easing people into the areas. But now, it's probably slowed down. They're surrounded by a fence and locked gate, so they know when anyone is coming in the gate to get to the building and they have very nice landscaping with flowers. They're expensive on a monthly basis."

"I am very pleased with this nursing home. My great grandmother resides here and I am satisfied with the nurses and employees that treat her. They are very friendly. My family always feels very comfortable and never have a problem communicating with anyone. The staff takes very good care of my grandmother and has great memory and relationships with the relatives and friends that come to visit the residents. Nurses are ALWAYS keeping us up to date. "

"My brother is in Banning Healthcare. The rooms are very small. They have physical therapy and a community room where they play music and games. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, and helpful. The overall care is excellent. They have patios and some outside tables for lunch get-togethers."

"I go to Beaumont Care Center twice a week to visit my dad. It is conveniently located where everybody could visit him. The day time shift is really good to him. Everybody is cool and friendly. But the only thing that I'm having concerns about is the night shift. There've been a lot of problems going over there, and it's really, really disturbing for me. "

"You never know when disaster will strike! My usual residence is The Lakes at Hemet West, a senior active living community, where I am actually the president of our recreation club. I slipped in water the week before Thanksgiving and found myself with, among other injuries, a fractured hip. This is my first forray into senior healing - medical facilities such as this one that care for you post-surgery. It is quite the experience. I love it here. The staff is warm and caring, the PT/OT group is outstanding. The Administrative staff is helpful, upbeat yet professional. The facilities are older but are being upgraded. The rooms look out onto little patches of landscape that give me glances of hummingbirds feeding from orange Kangaroo Paw. The windows are doors that ooen fully to let in fresh air and sunlight. Most rooms are companion rooms but mine is a small single with new flooring, it's not perfect but it is so homey here, I do not care. It is clean, bright and cheerful. Right now they have decorated for Xmas and there are lots of cute activities. I made a wreath for my wheel chair today. I am happy and getting better. I am thankful for good care."

"This facility is a skilled nursing facility located in the foothills of Cherry Valley Calif. When I first visited this facility I noticed that some of the patients roamed about the facility as if they were at home. They appeared comfortable and happy. They have a large room for activities too. Those that were in their beds had their rooms decorated to their liking. The facility in undergoing a remodel therefore their is construction taking place. The social work staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The nursing staff are attentive and very caring and knowledgable. This skilled nursing home is also clean looking and smells clean. "

"My father has been in this facility for over three years. We have moved him from one facility to another due to lack of care and staff. By far we are very satisfied by the amount of care my father is receiving at Centinela. The staff is very caring and passionate.....My family and i are very pleased we found this place..... "

"Rancho Bellagio Post Acute is clean, new, and well landscaped. The physical therapy and occupational therapy are terrific. They do a good job. The dining area is adequate. They have an activities room and Mom spends a good deal of time in there. They do bingo and artwork like coloring and painting. Medicare is actually paying for the whole thing."

"The people at Calimesa Post Acute have been very helpful and attentive. Dad is very comfortable, and they treat him well. He has everything he needs there. They have music, bingo, and people coming in to sing and visit them. I'm happy with the way they are taking care of Dad. The food is good, and Dad seems to be enjoying it. If he wants something else, they're willing to make it for him right away. The place is very clean and sanitized."

"My husband almost fell off the wheelchair if we hadn't caught him. I talked to the nurse about it, and she said that the wheelchair he has is too small for him and that they would keep an eye for him. But it disturbs us a lot because if we hadn't been there, he would have gone right to the floor. The room he's in is a little too crowded. But aside from that Braswell's Yucaipa Valley is very clean and really nice. "

"My mother had rehab in Cedar Mountain Post Acute Rehabilitation (Braswell's Hampton), and our experience with them was excellent. I was very happy. They had bingo going on all the time, music, movies, manicures, and every day there's an activity. They're under a very expensive remodel right now, so part of the place had been remodeled and part wasn't. The care that she got and the people are very loving. I visit there every day and sometimes at odd hours, and everyone was very attentive. I really like that they had six rooms with three on each side of the hall, and a nurse and an LPN always in the middle. If anything is needed, they're right there. The rooms were adequate in size but needed a lot of work. The paint and the bathroom were a little outdated. They were working on that when we were there. The staff was wonderful, really nice to my mom, friendly and great. I really liked the staff."

"My uncle got there at Riverside Village Healthcare Center on Sunday. They're on top of everything, trying to get him situated, and they figured out the things that he needs to get a little better. They're great. They are very informative, too. The facilities are very clean. It's pretty wide open there, like the hallways and stuff. It looks pretty nice, too. My uncle is close to the front, so I don't get to see much around there, but the atmosphere is very welcoming. The rooms are pretty big, too. He is in a room that was supposed to be with somebody else, but he is in there by himself right now."

"I am currently a resident at MHRC and have been here since June 2017, They take good care of me here. Teasing Crazy Jose and Crazy Jennifer about actually being crazy enough to work here is a lot of fun,"
