"I went to Westmont Village. I found it very clean. The only reason I chose the other one was because it's five minutes from my house. I liked all the stuff they had going. They had a little bit more to offer. The staff during the tour was great and he did a lot of follow-ups with me, too, afterwards. I don't remember any of the activities, but I like that they had a barber shop, a little cafe, and a TV like a theater and that type of stuff. I really liked it a lot."

"The Village Retirement Community is on the corner of Acacia and Kirby. It's huge, it's on 13 acres of land. I saw the independent living, and I think the place looked nice. I think it's a great place for people who are retired, and it's a lot cheaper there than San Diego. During the tour, they put me in a group and fed me lunch. The other places mentioned lunch, but nobody offered anything. It's very fancy, very well put on, and the food is good. The staff was also very professional and very caring. The place looks very good. Of course, they show you the perfect stuff, but it just looks like the whole place, even sitting on 13 acres, looks like they do take care of everything. It had a lot of vacant land around it, but of course, as the years go on, it will build up and the traffic is going to pick up in that area. It's a good location. You can actually walk to town from there."

"My visits have been very pleasant, there are always a number of staff members available to answer questions, my grandmother seemed very comfortable and much more relaxed than some of her recent stays in Redlands Community Hospital. The facility is clean and in good repair and it makes a wonderful use of the environment it is located utilizing the shade trees to create beautiful walking paths. When I asked my grandmother why she preferred Plymouth Village she explained the staff were the most courteous in comparison to other local assisted living centers and she was familiar with several of the nursing and physician staff and felt very confident in their ability to manage her condition. Parkinson's makes her very uncomfortable and her treatment requires a sincere effort at regular physical rehabilitation which she struggle to complete alone, she seemed more comfortable than anything else with the abilities of the staff to help her mobilize her body and follow through with her regular physical therapy.The rooms are very spacious and the staff were sensitive to my grandmother's request to be placed in a room alone even though it is obviously easier to pair patients in rooms together. The staff at Plymouth Village make a very sincere effort at making the guests as comfortable as possible. "
