Woodcrest Post-Acute & Rehabilitation

My husband is currently staying at Woodcrest Post-Acute & Rehabilitation. I already told my husband if the time should come that I need to be in rehab, put me there. I would go there. The staff is very friendly and caring. They're treating one patient at a time, and they take their time. No rush. The food is better than expected. The facility is spotless. Right now, he's not doing any activities, but they encourage movement, which is important.

My mother was at Woodcrest Post Acute & Rehabilitation for 3 weeks. The place was OK, but my mom had a fall at that facility and I didn't know how long she was on the floor. So, we ended up pulling her out of there, and I have nothing but a bad taste in my mouth from that facility after that. The staff was pretty good, but some of the staff were very lazy. They didn't take the job seriously enough. They didn't change her enough at night. They had one nurse who was excellent and one CNA who was really good. However, the administrators didn't take the action that they needed to in order to discipline some of their staff. The rooms were clean. The dining area was OK, but the food was not good at all. They had bingo and movies, and they had the physical therapy center.

My grandfather was at this facility, they shaved his hair which he ABSOLUTLY loved and as they were cutting his hair he kept yelling "no no no stop" and they still completely cut it without anyone's consent! They would not allow anyone to visit because "quarantine" my grandfather was vaccinated! We refused for them to continue his quarantine and demanded we see him and when we did we found then that they shaved his hair! This facility doesn't answer any calls and when they do they hang up on you. If I could give ZERO stars I most def would!!!
