Genesis Manor is a family owned and operated 6 assisted living facility that has been serving the senior community for over a decade. We are proud to say we have cared for over 170 seniors and their families in the 13 years we have been in business. We offer 24/7 Care and Supervision by experienced caregivers, many of whom have been at the same facility since it opened. This provides stability and establishes a bond between our residents and the men and women who provide eldercare for them on a daily basis. All of our caretakers have been background checked and cleared by the Department of Justice Genesis has been in business since 1996. The owner is a registered nurse as well as her three children who work along side her. Doctors, psychiatrist, podiatrist home health and hospice visit all Genesis homes on a regular basis. Hairdressers too. We do not have studio apartments. "Atria Del Rey was a really nice and clean facility. The staff was friendly. They have all kinds of activities like bingo and arts and crafts. It was good for the residents. They also have exercises. "

"We were impressed with Mission Commons. It certainly looked like a viable option. We were able to see two different units. The only downside is that they seem to have limited cooking facilities available. That was the only negative we detected. We had a very enjoyable lunch there. We were kind of impressed by the menu. On the day we were there, we were quite satisfied with what we had. I found nothing wrong with the community. We both felt we could certainly live there comfortably. With regards to cleanliness, there was nothing negative in that area."

"We visited Raincross at Riverside and toured their assisted living for my sister. The lady who worked with us was very thorough and competent. She knew the facility and had worked there for many years. She was very pleasant. The grounds are attractive. They had a lot of facilities there for the people, including paths and patios. The building and the rooms were extremely well cared for, and we were very impressed with that. It's on the small side, but they were very clean and freshly painted, and everything was well done. The dining area was nice. It was an open room and bright. Not many people were in there because they were having a barbecue, and most of the clients were outside on the patio where the barbecue was going on. The ones that were in the dining room seemed to be very impaired. Other than that, the environment was very nice and pleasant."

"My mother is at The Gardens of Riverside. I like it. It's a nice place. The people that helped us move her in were great and they always call if there are any questions or give me any updates on her condition or anything. They're really good and they're nice. I like the facility. It's clean. They have a beautiful little courtyard for the residents. They make sure she eats and they have a lot of activities. When we first went, they were doing karaoke and stuff like that. They had an Easter thing and they invite the family members. I love the staff. I haven't had any issues with the staff. The food looked fine and it looked like a balanced meal. I haven't seen too many, but I went one time when mom was eating lunch and they have a good menu. They came out and brought her a dessert, so that's nice. I like the atmosphere. Some people are watching TV, some are talking in a seating area, some are outside and there are rocking chairs and a little water fountain. I like sitting outside when I go see her because it's really nice and airy and there's grass and stuff like that. It's a nice place. I'm glad I found it. It was a blessing. Whenever I had any questions or anything, the staff was amazing. They're always sweet. They're good. The director, Stephanie, is really awesome and very personable. When I first went, I was almost in tears. It's just heartbreaking and she gives you a hug. She's just comforting. It's super clean. They keep everything nice and clean. My mom doesn't do all of the activities, but I see their little calendar and when I go to visit her, they're usually doing something. When I was visiting with her, they invited me to go to the Red Hat Society Club with mom."
