"We also went here. A person took us on a tour to see the room and talked about the facility and the amenities. It was a single story facility with different little activity areas and a couple of dining rooms. The staff was very nice. We met different caregivers. It was a memory care facility so the people there a had more severe mental issues. When we went there, I was looking if dad could comet here during the day when I went to work and pick him up from adult day care later. It was on a weekend and we saw a lot of people just sitting with someone else and were not active. But during the week, people brought their parents or whoever they wanted to stay there while they go to work. It was a little bit depressing with my father. Because he was pretty active and he plays cards and does a lot of things and the people that he saw there were not active. When we left there he said: "I am okay where I am". However, the facility seemed very secure. If you had a family member that you were concerned about wondering, it would be very difficult for them to get out. They had a little nice garden area. The place was quiet and there wasn't any festive decoration. They followed up with me the day after our visited and we had any questions. "

"We picked Brightwater Highland because of location and the friendly people. We liked the place, and the fact that it's close to the family. The rooms and apartments are very nice, well kept, and clean. The dining area is very nice. They're very cordial. They go for walks, have a little outside area where they can go and sit, live music, and yesterday, they were passing out popsicles to everybody. They were overly friendly. "

"My mom is at Pico De Loro and I think it's pretty good. They treat her really good and cook her whatever she wants. She seems happy. It's a pretty nice and clean place for the price. The staff is really nice to her and they do her hair every morning. The food smelled great and looked really good."

"We love Westmont of Riverside. It was excellent. We toured one room and that was the one we ended up wanting. It's very clean. We had lunch there and the food was excellent. The service was good. We enjoyed it, and when we looked at some of the activities, it was just a lot of fun. It was very similar to where we live now, which is just a plain senior community. The person during the tour turned out to be pretty good. Initially, she was, we thought, a little bit too aloof, but she became warmer as we proceeded. I even talked to some of the residents and they were very positive too."

"The one that I liked was the Sun City Gardens. It's very clean and quiet. I got to meet a few people. They have a very nice staff. The living spaces are very nice, very spacious, very clean, and very safe. They have everything you need including housekeeping and stuff if you need it. They have laundry facilities. They have a restaurant, which is very nice. They also have a library. Everybody that was in the lobby said it was a very good facility."

"My mom will move into WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. It's only three years old, so everything is new and fresh. They put money into it to keep it up. It has a dog park. It has a walking path. They have over 60 activities a month. It's a very active, dynamic community, not an old, depressed community. It's very lively. The staff was friendly, engaging, and open. The food was excellent. Compared to other communities, it's exceptional. It's a healthy, varied menu, and a lovely dining area. The chef puts together things with flavor, color, and texture."

"This is a very warm and inviting community. The residents are happy and involved with the many activities offered. My dad participated in so many activities, and is thriving here."

"I found Sunny Rose Glen through your company, and it has been really good. I am very satisfied that my mom is happy. I’ve been there with my mom when she’s had dinner, and she seems to enjoy it. I know they have a chef there; the food smells good, and looks good. She’s in a nice private room. It looks down on the courtyard, and it’s quiet. She has her own heating, and air conditioning she can control. It seems nice; like a little apartment. Their Sales Director was very helpful. I talked to her a few different times on the phone, and she was always very helpful, cordial, and professional. I would recommend it. Everything’s been really nice there so I hadn’t had any issues. "

"Rooms are always kept clean, bedding is new every week. Rooms are always tidy and clean. Smells fresh and clean all the time. Food is always fresh. Prepared each day. Caregiver always gives updates and calls when needed. Easy to talk with her and always have a clear communication line with her. House is well maintained and cleaned at all times. Residents are given meals with snacks, even late night snacks if requested. Visitation is open 7 days a week all hours."

"We visited Sunrise at Canyon Crest. It was very clean. The rooms were very well appointed. If someone was physically handicapped, it would be very easy to get around. The staff members we met were all very nice and very forthcoming. One interesting fact was that these were long-term employees, so it's not like they had a big turnover. That was impressive. We were inquiring for respite care for my mom. Right now, because of COVID, they were limited in what they could do, so we really didn't go into their activities. Just the fact that we were looking into respite and not really long term, they really didn't discuss activities too much other than they had movies. The living atmosphere was friendly, open, clean, and quiet. It was like going into someone's home. The staff member was very knowledgeable. She went into a lot of things."

"My parents and I chose Villas at San Bernardino as the best place for them to be comfortable and cared for in December 2020. They moved in on January 1st, 2021. My father’s health began to decline after a few months and VASB was supportive; staff genuinely cared about him. VASB was attentive and exceeded my expectations at a very difficult time for my mother and me. I trust in their care and compassion. We all expect this type of care for our parents and loved ones, but having had terrible experience with another highly recommended local assisted living facility, I know that isn’t the case everywhere. When my father passed away last year, my mother chose to stay at VASB rather than moving in with my brother or me. She knows she can count on the staff to assist her, she is comfortable with the routine, and they manage her medications. Staff frequently check on her. In December she shattered her pelvis and was able to come home to VASB and recover. My mother is doing well and I trust the management that has been there the last several years to continue exceptional care for her and their communication with me."

"We will be moving into Citrus Place. The tour was wonderful. It was great. I like the friendliness of the place. The upkeep of the community is very, very well. The rooms are very spacious."

"My mother has moved in. I'm fine with it. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are adequate and the dining facility is right outside everyone's door. They have six buildings with 15 rooms a building. I'm very happy with it. With the staff, it's kind of like the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If something's not adequate and you tell them about it, then they will fix it. If you don't tell them, then it won't get fixed. I haven't eaten the food, but my mother's eating more since she's been here than she was at home, so it must be pretty good. She hasn't done much as far as activities. She hasn't even been here two weeks yet. I was here with her today and they had music outside and we just came back from that and it was nice. They had a lady singing songs for everybody and they had a happy hour."
