"I toured Cottages at Hemet. It is very nice, and if I can get my father to come out this far, there is a possibility that I would like to put him there. The place is beautiful, and the staff all seem very nice. The rooms that they have, even the studio apartments, are spacious. Outside is like a park. The facility is well taken care of. Where they need to do upkeep, it was put aside so the residents couldn't quite get there, so it didn't affect the residents."

"I will move into The Village Hemet. It's a beautiful facility, and it has several amenities that I can use. I've got friends there already. They have wonderful meals, maids, and transportation services, so it's all in one location. A couple of my friends said you don't even have to leave the building if you don't want to, and they take complete care of you. The staff have been great and helpful in getting the process started and completed. They've been really good. I had lunch a couple of times, and it's like a five-star restaurant. It's very clean. It looks brand new, although it's been there since either '89 or '98, but it's a beautiful facility. It was like a five-star hotel."

"I went to Brookdale Sunwest. I first visited them two years ago, and I had a meal then, and the food was good. It was a nice facility. The staff was very nice. The facility was very nice. They have a whole range of facilities, like a hotel, and then they have individual units, almost like a home you can stay in."

"The Camelot has been upgraded. It's in the price range that I can afford. Everything's provided in the cost and they have different specials at different months. It seemed like it was pretty well taken care of, and the dining room and all of the facilities seemed adequate. They're newly painted apartments. It looked like the menu was pretty good. The staff answered all our questions. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We could have had a meal there if we had been there during the mealtimes, but we weren't, so we didn't taste the food."

"I liked Westmont of Riverside a lot, but it was very huge for my sister. She probably would be better off with a smaller facility. I saw a cafeteria. I saw two studios. I saw their entrance, and basically we walked from the entrance to a wing, which was a good distance. They're set up to where people are a good distance from administration, which I wasn't really happy with. If my sister were to be there and she needed administrative business to be conducted, it would be very difficult for her to get there. It was quite clean. There seemed to be the occasional attendant in each wing, but I didn't see a lot of people milling about. It was nice to see that it was not too crowded, but on the same token it was also disconcerting that people were so far apart from help. The staff member was conscientious, and I connected well with them. She was quite friendly with the help, and courteous with the clients. I would still give them a very high score because they are a premium facility. They are selective in their clientele. They explained that people needing more than one person in attendance were not good applicants. My sister is not a good applicant, not that she needed more than one attendant at a time, but because she needed an attendant to get her up. That would mean someone would have to be with her, and that's not something that they're geared to do."

"I toured Park Terrace. It was wonderful, beautiful, and luxurious, and the tour was very good, with all the amenities and beyond. They were under construction a little bit while I was there. They're putting in a restaurant or something. So, there was some construction going on in the entryway. It was very nice. The staff who gave the tour was nice. They have a studio and a one-bedroom, but the thing was that you had to bring all your own furniture because it's an apartment. They were just empty rooms."

"What we really liked about Arcadia Place was the fact that you could walk out of your own apartment onto a patio, so you felt more like you were in a house that you could walk out of rather than going through a hallway to the main entrance. The staff was very friendly and interested in us as people. It was really a good tour. We liked the structure of the building, we liked the centralized location of activities within the building, and it was very clean. The rooms were a good size. I especially liked the bathroom. It wasn't just kind of a closet bathroom. It was a nice size."

"Rancho Vista Senior Living is a nice place. It's like a resort. If you don't like what's planned for the day, you can order a la carte. You can get a cheeseburger, a hot dog, or whatever you want. They take you places. They take you to the Padres. They have day outings or they take you to the grocery store. My mother-in-law wouldn't be confined. Alma was very sweet and answered any questions. I was impressed by her. They have a movie room, a library, and a grand piano in the dining room, so they have entertainment on Friday nights. They have a nice big fireplace in the dining room. It's very clean."

"My brother has been in Everest Oceanside Memory Care for more than a year. I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate the staff. They are very responsive, diligent, kind, respectful, and wonderful to my brother. He has been in a number of group homes and one independent living facility when it became apparent that memory care was the safest for him. I could not be happier with his care, honestly. He's clean, well fed, continuously monitored and they stay on top of his medications without fail. They have been a godsend to our family and my brother. Highly recommend!"

"My husband moved to MorningStar of Mission Viejo. The interior organization there, they communicate well with each other. The management style is excellent. They communicate well between each department, so it's a very soft touch, but they pay attention to the information about their clients. The facility is great. It's interesting. It's a small building. It's not one of the biggest, most extravagant buildings that I've seen, but the staff is great. The food is amazing. The food is excellent. They do a good job there. My husband is a little reserved. He's not quite interested in that part of things, but it looks like they have a lot going on. They have an outreach program where they're working with the Saddleback Emeritus programming, and they're introducing some classes at their facility through Emeritus."

"I visited.It's an assisted living place and overall it was fine for me especially because they had an enclosed little dog park. The place was beautiful. The person who assisted me during the tour was wonderful. He was very good with follow-through and was very personable. I also observed that they have a very friendly staff."
