"Vista Corona Senior Living was kind of quiet. I walked in the hallway, and everybody was so nice. The room was kind of small, though. They have amenities. I don't know about the gym, but I went to their library. The dining area was pretty good. They had small entertainment. There was a band that went to the place playing a bit."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"My husband moved to MorningStar of Mission Viejo. The interior organization there, they communicate well with each other. The management style is excellent. They communicate well between each department, so it's a very soft touch, but they pay attention to the information about their clients. The facility is great. It's interesting. It's a small building. It's not one of the biggest, most extravagant buildings that I've seen, but the staff is great. The food is amazing. The food is excellent. They do a good job there. My husband is a little reserved. He's not quite interested in that part of things, but it looks like they have a lot going on. They have an outreach program where they're working with the Saddleback Emeritus programming, and they're introducing some classes at their facility through Emeritus."

"I was very impressed with Meridian At Laguna Hills. I liked the feeling of it, the attitude of the people there, and the architecture of the unit. They have refrigerators there and just the basic kitchen, but they also serve plenty of food. So, you don't need to worry much about food. I was also impressed with the young lady who gave the tour and her knowledge and ability to meet every person there with their name. The building was well-kept and nicely appointed."

"It has skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living. I had been in the skilled nursing part following several surgeries and so I'm aware of this community. It is right downtown, which is close to where I work. The apartment that I'm looking at is very nice. It is a 1-bedroom apartment, all services are provided except for assistance. The person who gave me the tour was very good. When I was in skilled nursing, food was fine. They are varied and you have alternatives. They also have outings and themed days. I am aware of the activities because when I would go down to rehab, I would see the activity sheet. They also have a van that would take the residents out shopping."

"We moved in. The staff responses quickly. They are always available and are working really hard. The food is OK. We have a two-bedroom apartment. My wife loves public speaking, so she's been given a couple of opportunities to speak. I play bingo, card games, and that kind of stuff. "

"My dad went to The Village Hemet for assisted living. It was a really nice place and he was there for about 10 months. The nurses were there, and they were on top of medications. The residents weren't as active. They tried to do activities. They would wheel my dad down for singing groups and for Valentine cupcakes but when you're confined in a wheelchair and more immobile, it is harder to get someone to participate. They had in-house beauty shop. They had very good foods and my dad liked it. It was a really nice place. They had very caring staff. Their rooms were studio rooms that had separate bathrooms. The rooms were bigger. My dad had a room to put a recliner and a table. He had a television, a small table, and a chair to sit down to if he has company. It was nice and the price was comparable to others."

"My neighbor has moved in. It's a beautiful facility. She's adjusting fine. She's going downstairs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is good for people because it helps them socialize and not stay in their room all the time. It's very modern and very clean. Their staff would answer the phone; they're available. They're kind. They're very pleasant people there. My friend who is living there says the food is very nice."

"My parents are living here. My sister and I went and visited some facilities and we found it to be the best for them. We chose it because this was more like home. It's surrounded by a community and it didn't look so institutionalized. Another reason is that the service there was very good and they have a lot of things for them. They're still getting used to leaving their home, but as a whole, if I was my parents' age and in their predicament, I would live there. That's what my sister and I look for. Would we want to live there ourselves if we were 90 years old? So yes, we would. That's why we wanted our parents to be in a place that was more like home. Everything went fine as far as the move-in. Everyone I've met has been very kind and very helpful. So far, I don't have any complaints. I haven't eaten any, but the food smelled very good. If they can't eat certain foods, they will accommodate. They just have to be told. The buildings are fine. Everything's well kept. You walk in, it smells fresh and clean. I think the facility's very nice. They have a Sit and Be Fit, games, happy hour once a week, and different things. They also have a little bus that takes them around town if they need to run an errand. I got to meet my parents' immediate neighbors in their building, and they're very nice. They have patios where you could sit outside. It's more like being at your own home. Another thing I liked is that it's a small community, so that allows the residents to meet their neighbors."

"I was at The Camelot for two years. It was great and we really enjoyed it. It was excellent. Everybody stepped up. Nothing but great things to all of them. The staff members were great. They would really go out of their way and do everything they could to make it a really nice environment for everybody. Staff wise, it was a very caring place. The food was one of my main concerns. It could have been a little bit better, but it was a lot better than most. The place was beautiful. There were coloring groups, different board games and card games. There was plenty for everybody to do. Activities were very nice. I would highly recommend The Camelot."

"It is a very nice place, my wife is satisfied here, and she's going to stay for another month. She's gotten better, so I'm satisfied. They have a lot of activities, but my wife does not participate; she's just resting. They have music from outside that comes and plays, they take them on tours and scenic drives, and they have physical activities. The food was very good, and also the dining area and the room was very nice. "

"The staff here was friendly. The facility was beautiful and there were a lot of interesting details and features that made it very special. The dining area was nice. The individuals can order off a menu, like at a restaurant. There were nice outdoor spaces and opportunities for recreation and programming, like music. Everyone was accommodating."

"I toured The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. I liked it, but it's just too big of a place for my friend to be in. I've been there three times. That place is very beautiful. They're very pleasant. It's a nice place. I'd like to stay there when I'm old. The staff was very knowledgeable. It's just beautiful there. You drive up and there's this waterfall and it's very pretty. It's very clean and very well kept. It's also directly across the street from where I live. They have everything. They have a courtyard. I saw these women who were in this one room, and they were playing bowling where it was on the TV. Then we went into another room, and they had popcorn, and I had some popcorn. Then the staff took me into the salon. They have a salon, and you can get a massage there. It's very big and beautiful."
