It feels like my parents are living in a nice comfortable environment with a lot of activities. Food is fantastic. Right now, my parents are in independent, so they’re not getting any other service, but Estancia Del Sol provides linen service, garbage disposal, and apartment cleanings once a week. "

"Vista Corona Senior Living was kind of quiet. I walked in the hallway, and everybody was so nice. The room was kind of small, though. They have amenities. I don't know about the gym, but I went to their library. The dining area was pretty good. They had small entertainment. There was a band that went to the place playing a bit."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"Welbrook was nice, and the staff was very informative. The room was clean and spacious. I did witness a couple of activities and it looked like they were well-thought out and the residents enjoyed them. "

"My husband moved to MorningStar of Mission Viejo. The interior organization there, they communicate well with each other. The management style is excellent. They communicate well between each department, so it's a very soft touch, but they pay attention to the information about their clients. The facility is great. It's interesting. It's a small building. It's not one of the biggest, most extravagant buildings that I've seen, but the staff is great. The food is amazing. The food is excellent. They do a good job there. My husband is a little reserved. He's not quite interested in that part of things, but it looks like they have a lot going on. They have an outreach program where they're working with the Saddleback Emeritus programming, and they're introducing some classes at their facility through Emeritus."

"This was one of the communities I visited, and it's one of the better places here in Orange County. I have friends that live there, their rooms are nicely furnished, most have good views, and it's kept close and clean. I think most of the people that live there feel comfortable and there are lots of services available. It's pretty high class. They have a fitness center, they have restaurant-style dining, they have nice areas to walk in and move around. It's a big community with six or seven floors, and the size of it actually scared one of my neighbors. She did not want to stay in a large apartment building."

"It has skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living. I had been in the skilled nursing part following several surgeries and so I'm aware of this community. It is right downtown, which is close to where I work. The apartment that I'm looking at is very nice. It is a 1-bedroom apartment, all services are provided except for assistance. The person who gave me the tour was very good. When I was in skilled nursing, food was fine. They are varied and you have alternatives. They also have outings and themed days. I am aware of the activities because when I would go down to rehab, I would see the activity sheet. They also have a van that would take the residents out shopping."

"We moved in. The staff responses quickly. They are always available and are working really hard. The food is OK. We have a two-bedroom apartment. My wife loves public speaking, so she's been given a couple of opportunities to speak. I play bingo, card games, and that kind of stuff. "

"My dad went to The Village Hemet for assisted living. It was a really nice place and he was there for about 10 months. The nurses were there, and they were on top of medications. The residents weren't as active. They tried to do activities. They would wheel my dad down for singing groups and for Valentine cupcakes but when you're confined in a wheelchair and more immobile, it is harder to get someone to participate. They had in-house beauty shop. They had very good foods and my dad liked it. It was a really nice place. They had very caring staff. Their rooms were studio rooms that had separate bathrooms. The rooms were bigger. My dad had a room to put a recliner and a table. He had a television, a small table, and a chair to sit down to if he has company. It was nice and the price was comparable to others."

"My neighbor has moved in. It's a beautiful facility. She's adjusting fine. She's going downstairs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is good for people because it helps them socialize and not stay in their room all the time. It's very modern and very clean. Their staff would answer the phone; they're available. They're kind. They're very pleasant people there. My friend who is living there says the food is very nice."

"It is a large place. They have several sections of rooms and they have caregivers assigned to those clusters. I guess they are like clusters of rooms. It's a very nice place. It's a little bit out of our budget, but overall, a nice place. The staff who gave the tour was great. My mother is in a wheelchair, so she wheeled her around and showed her some of the outdoor spaces and also what the rooms looked like. They're a little bit smaller rooms than the other place. They're more like a room style, and it didn't feel like an apartment-type room. It just felt more like a room with a bathroom. They have a community area that's up by the office, and there were several people there playing cards and stuff like that. They gave us a list of all the activities. So, they have an activity every single day. The patients can either join in those activities or not. They took us outside and showed us some of the outdoor spaces. They were putting together a raised bed garden so that the community can participate in gardening activities. They have lots of little benches throughout the community to go and sit and talk with your family members if they want to come over and visit for the day."

"I was at The Camelot for two years. It was great and we really enjoyed it. It was excellent. Everybody stepped up. Nothing but great things to all of them. The staff members were great. They would really go out of their way and do everything they could to make it a really nice environment for everybody. Staff wise, it was a very caring place. The food was one of my main concerns. It could have been a little bit better, but it was a lot better than most. The place was beautiful. There were coloring groups, different board games and card games. There was plenty for everybody to do. Activities were very nice. I would highly recommend The Camelot."
