Memory Care Communities in Wildomar, CA

"I visited and I was able to see an apartment, and it was only a one-bedroom. It was nice. It was average. One-bedroom, one bath. The lady was wonderful, very good, and patient. It looked nice and I would have liked to be able to see more, but with COVID it was limited. They were very professional there. It was very busy, I could tell, and the girl at the front desk was getting lots of calls. I think it was people who lived there calling. It looked like a very nice facility. It felt very homey and the lady that I spoke to and gave me the tour was very nice and accommodating. Even if my parents did not want to go there, if I needed any help, she told me to call her. That area out there was a little desolate. It's towards the hill and right up against the hill, but it looked nice. They didn't have independent, and only offered assisted, and they make you have to go through a doctor's report and nurse thing."

"We toured WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. I spoke with the residents. They were doing flower arrangements and paintings, and they had a happy hour. It's very polished; it is a beautiful facility. They have different layouts of the rooms that were just fabulous. The only thing is it is not all-inclusive. For a private room, it started at $4390, and then the high-end is $4950. You have to put the level of care on top of that. My aunt was considered a level 2. That would raise your price by $1500, and it's all out of pocket."

"I went to Sun City Gardens. They all seemed very friendly and happy. The individual who gave the tour was walking around talking to everybody. It was apparent that they were very close. He was very nice and very friendly. It was very clean and very well designed. They had nice gardens. The room size was good. It wasn't too small and it had a nice open layout where wheelchairs would have been able to fit and go in and out of the room."

"I really like Vineyard Ranch at Temecula. I'm on a waiting list there. It's very pretty, and everybody's trying to get in there. It came highly recommended. I visited both their assisted living and memory care. Everybody seemed really happy, were up and walking, and were cheerful. The staff member was vivacious, vibrant, informative, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They only had a studio to show me, and it was nice. The dining area looked like a cafe, and it was really nice."

"Atria provided such wonderful care and assistance to our Mom. The staff always gave her the attention she needed with a smile and a kind word. I can not say enough about how great they were for our family. Five stars is not enough. "

"My dad is in Pico De Loro. We were looking for someplace that would be fairly close to where my parents lived so it would be easier for us to get my mother over there to visit. I hadn't toured any of the other places, but at the hospital, they felt that my dad needed more than just a place that was going to where he would have a room, where he could be independent because at the stage he's in, he's not able to be independent. So I went with my brother to visit Pico De Loro. It's an older place, but the people there seemed nice, and so far, he's been getting good care. Hospice has taken over, so they're doing a lot of the care. My dad has been there for a few weeks now. He has dementia, but at this point, he's under hospice care. He's not able to get out of bed or do anything on his own. It's what they call board and care. The people I've met have been very nice, very friendly, and seem to be caring. I haven't seen the food, but they puree his food for him. I know they have good meals. They've invited us to come and have lunch sometimes. From what I've seen, they seem to serve good meals for the other people that are there. This is a relatively small place. For somebody that's a little bit more independent, I don't see that they're doing a lot of activities. It's very limited. They have a TV room, and it looks like they have some kind of a room for games. I don't know what other places cost, but I'm sure this is not as costly. It's nice and it's clean. They do the meals, and they seem to interact with the people there. The staff has been there for quite a while, which is a good sign. "

"I was a resident at Regency Fallbrook. We chose this place because it's very close to our home and we knew some people that were in there. The food was very good and they had a chef. They had lots of activities like bingo, walks and trips. The staff was great. The reason we left was because my husband felt he was too young to be living there. I liked that I could visit with a lot of friends there. "

"Our visit to Maple guest home in Hemet left us thoroughly impressed. The community boasts an impressive array of amenities that cater to the resident's needs and interests. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. Although we didn't have the opportunity to sample the food firsthand, our visit coincided with lunchtime, and it was heartening to see the residents thoroughly enjoying their meals. The positive feedback from those around us confirmed the quality of the dining experience. The community offers an impressive range of amenities, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The kitchen, dining area, and bedrooms were all beautifully designed and maintained. I decided to move my father into this facility and I am very happy with it. All the above mentioned stands truthful and they are taking really good care of my father"

"It is excellent. The location and weather is perfect. The staff is congenial, the care is good, the food is excellent. They also provide recreational activities for the residents. "

"Brookdale Sunwest is really nice. I know the facility is older, but it didn't seem like it. The biggest difference is the assisted living my mom would have been in is on the third floor. I know at the time she wouldn't be able to get around as well there. She would need a lot more assistance. It is a nice facility, and they have a big dining room. That was another thing too because she might have gotten a little lost in that dining room. It is a large, very spacious facility. As for the activities, they basically have the same things like people coming in for entertainment. They have dancing, and they play the Wii gaming system. I know in the memory section, they have more activities all day going on just to keep them active. The staff and everybody were all really great to deal with. The cleanliness was very nice. I wouldn't have known it's older than it was because it's very nice. You walk in, and it looks brand new. "

"My dad is in Park Terrace. The staff is very good. He is in a nice studio, and it is roomy enough. The food looks good, and my dad seems to think it is good. They do various things aside from walking, tossing the ball around, basketball, and stuff like that. I like that it is a nice very welcoming place, and people are very friendly. They take good care of their residents. We are very satisfied with them. "

"We put our mother here. It's immaculately clean, airy, open, has lots of light, and the rooms are large, spacious, and well laid out. Their activities are wonderful. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and helpful. We ate there, and the food was good."

"We toured Cathy's Cottage Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was fantastic. We love the staff. We love the owner. We loved the cleanliness. We loved the care. She cared about her clients that were there. It's just that she only had a room for one person and not two. So it wasn't that we didn't love her facility. It was that there wasn't enough space to have both of my parents, and it was really important to keep them together. It seems like they have different arts and crafts things. Since it's a smaller home, it's not as many larger activities, but they do a lot of one-on-one personal life activities to keep the clients involved and active. All the clients that were there seemed very, very happy, and very, very comfortable. That was actually probably our favorite place. But again, my parents couldn't be there together. We didn't eat there, but she gave us a very, very deep overview of the food. It was great, all home-cooked things, all personalized to the client's diet."
