This has been the absolute best place for my Father-in-law. He has been the happiest man I have ever seen him and the facility is the best facility he has ever been!! The staff and facility is friendly and the place is always clean. They have more activities going on for him than I have ever participated in during my entire life. Seriously, this is hands down a great place!!

My mother has Dementia and has been a resident at Vineyard Place for approximately eight months. The fact that they are a memory care facility only gave me great comfort when placing my Mom there. They are the only type of facility like that in all of Temecula Valley. Another words, they are experts in memory care loss because that is their one and only area of focus. The building, the facility and the grounds are impeccably maintained. The facility is a light and bright. Very conducive for memory loss patients. The days of dark and dingy memory care units are long gone thanks to facilities like this. The facility is run by an amazingly talented and empathetic executive director Dawniesha. The staff are top notch and they genuinely care and love their residents. The communication between the staff and family members is excellent. My mother is so well cared for at Vineyard Place. I am forever grateful for the compassion, love and kindness shown not only to my mother but all of the residents and their family members. When you visit Vineyard Place you visit a happy place. Music permeates the building as does the smell of wonderful food being created in their kitchen. Their chef and staff create delicious meals and the extra services that are offered such as the beauty salon etc. and many activities keep my mom and other residents actively engaged and happy. In summary, you can’t go wrong with this facility for your loved one. Not once have I ever lost trust or faith in them or their ability to care for my mom. I highly recommend Vineyard Place.

I was so scared to put my mom in one of these communities. This is the cleanest community I had checked out. When you come through the door, Vine Yard is VERY CLEAN, (unlike most places it didn't smell.) I was looking for a place for my Mom. She is in the early stages of dementia. when I first came in the door, the receptionist Sally and another young girl I don't know what her name is but they are great.Gina & Cynthia are great. Gina showed me the suites they had available. Very nice a Spacious. The food here is very good. (it's like going to a restaurant). My mom, likes to go on field trips. At vine yard, they always have activities for the residents. The residents always have some thing to do. All I can say, is Vine Yard I would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful, caring place. Both parents live there. Since moving in, approximately four months ago, my mother is now more engaged with the world. Both parents benefit from more activities, healthier food choices, and getting meds as the doctor prescribed.

My husband receives quality care here. The caregivers receive ongoing training and are very caring and competent. All of the staff from the top down obviously cares about each resident, which I observe on an almost daily basis (I spend time with my husband almost every day.) I highly recommend Vineyard Place.

Overall, I am very pleased with the care my Father receives at Vineyard. Employees and Caregivers are very kind and caring individuals. The facility is well kept and always clean, as are the residents rooms. Things to improve upon- Providing daily activities that are more engaging. When activities aren’t going on provide enjoyable music from their era that residents can actually hear (not elevator music). Have things more accessible to residents- large piece puzzles, magazines, coloring supplies, cards, picture books,.... Physically handing snacks to residents- many residents do not know with their mental state to ask for food. Give them the snacks, not just at snack time (this will assist with weight loss problems, as well). For the hearing impaired (many residents), maybe have the activities leader use a microphone head piece so residents can actually hear the questions during trivia and numbers during bingo, etc. this will engage more residents. It seems the caregivers for my father change regularly. Perhaps putting a whiteboard next to their room that says who is responsible for him during he day/night. Sometimes it’s hard to locate a caregiver who can answer questions about my dad because they have not assisted him that day. As the residency has increased, I am not certain the staff and medical team has increased at the same rate. I’d love to see the numbers increase as multiple caregivers can get pulled away through out the day to assist one resident who had an accident (very common), leaving others short staffed, generally for a short time. This is an area in healthcare that is on the rise, caring for elderly memory impaired, I am pleased we found a place where my father is well cared for and respectfully treated. Overall, as I said very pleased with his care. These are minor suggestions for improvement to engage more residents.

I live at a great distance from my mother, who is a resident. I visited for the first time in Jan. 2018. The facility is clean, organized, well-run; the rooms are beautiful. (I joked with staff that I would live there.) The staff is caring, careful, and vigilant. They know the residents and can anticipate their needs. They are extremely patient and tolerant. I discussed with one person the types of ongoing training the staff receives (it is impressive). I participated with my mother in all the varied activities (which interest her). I believe that my mother is more alert than when she lived at home and had in-home assistance. I wish I could visit more often (my sister lives in the area), but I am truly relieved that my mother has ended up in this place. I hope she can continue there indefinitely.

We have decided on Vineyard Place for my mother. It was brand new, so everything was very clean and very new. The staff was very compassionate and very well educated with memory care. The place was bright and had many activities. They know how to deal with dementia and Alzheimer’s. It was extremely impressive.

Vineyard Place is an amazing place - I'm so glad that I found it! The staff are all kind, and really care about my aunt. My sister and I were really torn about what we should do. My aunt doesn't have anyone but us to help her, and we were worried about where she was living. She moved to Vineyard Place last month, and she is doing great. She's gained some weight -- which is good -- and is happy, which makes us feel good. We all sleep better now.

I recently had an experience with this facility with my 90 year old mother who has dementia. This is a Memory Care Facility only so I thought it would be perfect for her.. When I met with the administrators they seemed very caring and said they had a different approach because my mother can be difficult because of her dementia and Alzheimer's I was assured that their type of care was extremely compassionate and that they work very closely to make sure that my mother would be comfortable and happy. 5 days later my mother had a very bad dementia attack and they called the hospital. Now granted before my mother came to this facility she was coming out of the hospital from having pneumonia and was very weak and we were trying to get her medication and her other health issues taken care of. A few days before her dementia attack she was becoming aggressive and I had to hire and extra sitter to sit with her at night. They said they could not accommodate watching her. we were waiting for the doctor to reevaluate her and she had her dementia attack and they took her away and said that she could not come back. they did not even tell me in person they told the hospital. It's really uncompassionate and cruel as my mother is back in the hospital with no where to live at the moment. they did not even offer to take her back for a few days so that I could find a place for her to go. They pretty much washed their hands of it because they don't want people there that are going to cause any problems they want all the residents to just sit there be quiet and not lash out or have any mental issues which is pretty much impossible when you have dementia and Alzheimer's . there is a lot more that I won't go into detail but this is the jest of it. Very sad how the elderly are treated in the large facilities they do not get the care they need it's very clinical in my opinion the administrator was very cold the other staff seemed friendly but it was kind of a weird feeling in there I can't explain it. I'm going to recommend a board and care for my mother now. Also they told me that hospice was not allowed to recommend any medication. I had already got hospice on board and got my mother's meds in place with hospice and then they told me that she could not get the medicine from hospice? I've never heard of anything like it. just giving you a heads up if your parent is a little bit hard to deal with this facility would not be the place
