Assisted Living Communities in Lake Elsinore, CA

"I visited Pico De Loro and I liked the employees' interaction with the workers and the residents. The layout was fine. It was more of an older building. It wasn't more modern, but it was clean and they had everything. I saw their activities with their residents. They have a birdcage and workout equipment. The staff was good. When I went there, they didn't have me on the list, but they got on it. They called who was in charge of the tours, and if it was OK for me to do the tours, and they were nice and helpful with everything. They were communicating with the residents, helping them out with whatever they needed and talking to them."

"I toured Ivy Park at Murrieta. It just seemed well-kept. They seemed to care about their patients, and I was just impressed with the whole facility. They have a very nice dining area open all day long, which was very impressive. They had a beauty salon there. They had physical therapy there. They have doctors who came in and visited. The staff was very accommodating."

"We really love Brookdale Murrieta. It was a great tour. The one thing we loved about it was dogs that were allowed. They would have allowed my mom to bring her small dog in. They would have allowed animals, and they had animal care which was very sweet. The staff was very informative, and we got to meet all of them. It was a wonderful place, and the staff was really impressive. They had an exercise room, a library, a game room, movie night, church services, outside garden, and a pool. The rooms were beautiful. My mom would have been overlooking a golf course. The chef was a sweet guy, and we were so impressed with their menu."

"We could not be happier with Park Terrace, but more importantly, our mother-in-law loves it. The staff is as friendly as you can get, the facility is immaculate and beautifully designed, they offer ample activities and "field" trips, the dinning room is lovely and serves extraordinary food and the grounds are well manicured and plush. If this wasn't enough, the cost is more than reasonable, regardless of the level of care. After two other facilities that were good, but not remarkable, we are grateful to have found Park Terrace and could not recommend them highly enough. "

"One of the facilities that I visited was Westmont Village. I found it to be a beautiful community, the equal of any town or village in Southern California. It's just gorgeous with beautiful homes. It used to be Airforce Village West. They had a lot of military officers living there. Now it's got a lot of seniors, it's got apartments in there, and it's got all kinds of comprehensive care if you need it. The freestanding homes are gorgeous, and you can just live independently if you want to. I was very impressed except for a couple of things. It's too quiet. It's almost as quiet as the funeral next door. A lot of people would not consider that a flaw, but a benefit. You could hear a pin drop walking down the street. The other thing is me and my attitude. I'm going to be 80 years old in a year and a half or so, and I have no right to feel this way. But I go in there and on these tours and I'm looking around the people and it is a sea of elderly people, and I don't feel like I'm in that demographic, even though I very much am. I'm too young for that kind of a place, but I'm just going to have to get used to it. I'm probably older than a lot of those people, but I'm looking at it and I feel like I'm looking at a lot of grandpa and grandma, and I'm not one of them, but I am. So it's a bit attitude on my part. I didn't go into the memory care building, but I saw them from the outside. I mostly visited independent living and maybe assisted living. The people were very, very nice. If I were to go anywhere at this point, it would probably be Westmont Village. I thought it was a wonderful place. It's spotless. The staff is all wonderful. They were very, very nice and accommodating."

"J.J. the owner, and his staff, are great! My father likes the home and the people that care for him. I would recommend Inspirations Home Care to anyone needing a care facility for a loved one. "

"Citiview Residential Care is just a six-bed home. It is located in a nice area of Riverside. It's got a well manicured lawn, and the place looks nice. It sits on an acre lot, so it's a pretty big piece of ground that they have. They have two caregivers in the day and two caregivers at night, and one lady that stays there and lives there. So, that's a pretty good ratio for six people. They take everybody out in the backyard once a day, and they cater to their individual meals. It's cozy and more like a home. They have a shared room but you don't have to bring your own furniture because they provide that for you. I would probably put my mom here because it seems to be a really nice place. The landscaping is really nice, but the carpet was kind of stained, and the bathroom rugs need to be replaced."

"We visited the Vineyard Ranch at Temecula, and it was excellent and brand new. The rooms were excellent, and nobody has lived there yet. The staff was very accommodating. They're very expensive."

"Vista Corona Senior Living was kind of quiet. I walked in the hallway, and everybody was so nice. The room was kind of small, though. They have amenities. I don't know about the gym, but I went to their library. The dining area was pretty good. They had small entertainment. There was a band that went to the place playing a bit."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"I placed. Both my Mom and Mother-in-Law at this facility at different times. The manager, Aurica, and her team were always courteous and went “ABOVE AND BEYOND” to meet my Moms needs as well as ours. The home is very clean, well maintained and has mostly private rooms with bathrooms, which proved an excellent choice for our loved ones. Home cooked meals are provided with. Special needs or requests for the menu welcomed. What I liked best, was the cheerfulness of the overall environment and the effort to make the residents feel at home. I highly recommend this facility."
