"I like almost all the people that work here at Wildomar Senior Assisted Living. There's one person that I don't think should even be in caretaking, but that's my own opinion. The facility as a whole makes me feel like they're family. They're extremely nice and friendly and with any of my needs, they move quickly. If I need something, I don't have to wait forever. It took me a while to adjust to this kind of lifestyle, but now I love it and I love the people here. My room is very nice. It's fairly large and it's partitioned off. I don't have a roommate at this time for the last month and a half or two months. We just have a microwave and a small refrigerator. There's no cooking allowed in here, but the three meals a day we get are absolutely fantastic. I have no complaints over them. They've been doing a lot of changing around right now as far as I can understand. They just hired a new cook that started today because they had problems with the other one. They have bingo and 90% of the people here or even more that are wheelchair bound or have a walker have beach volleyball in the loft. Everyone sits in chairs and throws the ball back and forth. They have movie times. It's extremely clean and smells good everywhere. You can walk out my door down the hall and everything always smells good and clean. What is offered here makes the risk worth it."

"My mother is a Brookdale resident in another part of the state, but I am looking at relocating her to be closer to family. Brookdale, in my experience, is a high-quality organization. The staff is very compassionate, the food is quite good (surprisingly good, in fact). From a caregiver's perspective, I am especially comforted and impressed by the personal touch so evident in Brookdale staff. People seem genuinely happy in their surroundings, both residents and caregivers. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale to those dealing with the hard circumstances of aging parents. "

"I visited Pico De Loro and I liked the employees' interaction with the workers and the residents. The layout was fine. It was more of an older building. It wasn't more modern, but it was clean and they had everything. I saw their activities with their residents. They have a birdcage and workout equipment. The staff was good. When I went there, they didn't have me on the list, but they got on it. They called who was in charge of the tours, and if it was OK for me to do the tours, and they were nice and helpful with everything. They were communicating with the residents, helping them out with whatever they needed and talking to them."

"I toured Vineyard Ranch at Temecula for my dad. Just based on the tour, the community seemed very accepting, very open, and very compassionate. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the residents, both in assisted care and in the memory care. The staff was very welcoming when I first arrived there. They were very, very knowledgeable about disease processes, and how to manage the residents when they have their memory issues, forgetfulness, and possibly behavioral issues based on their situation. I felt very comfortable. The facility looked very clean and inviting. They had a lot of activities which would help incorporate all of the residents. I was very pleased, very happy, and very comfortable when I stepped into the community. I would describe the rooms as comfortable. They weren't too small, but not too big. They were just enough clean. They were homey with a lot of natural light. It felt comfortable, like a normal room that somebody would be comfortable to lay and sleep in. In the memory care, it was very family oriented. The dining area was very open and comfortable. They sat as a family. I walked through during their lunch time and the smells were very inviting. I think it was very clean. The person that toured us around was amazing. I believe he was the director."

"The location of Maple Guest Home was perfect. The facility was excellent. I liked the patient-to-staff ratio. Everyone was very professional. I feel that they would be able to perfectly supply the need that we need for my mom. They have a place outside. Mom likes outside to where she can be nice and comfortable and get sunshine. I liked the whole atmosphere."

"My wife was admitted after a total knee replacement. The entire staff at the village were all so caring, and always professional. It seemed like they read her mind when ever she wanted something, they were already there.. "Brookdale Sunwest was very nice. The rooms were not spacious, but normal sized, like an apartment. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment for independent living. They certainly were clean, ready to move in to, and looked really good. They had an independent living building, an Alzheimer's building, and an assisted living building, and they had some little duplexes where one of our friends lives. They had two areas that had small duplexes with attached garage and a small backyard in each one. They had a very nice library and one of the residents was having a birthday party the day we were there. They had very nice chairs and tables set up throughout the lower floor. We had a nice lunch in the dining room. They used tablecloths and napkins. They had people who come to your table and wait on you like you were in a restaurant, plus a menu that you can pick from. They had a swimming pool and all kinds of activities; the staff gave us a list. They had a bus that you can take if you don't have a car or don't drive. They also had cars and you can make arrangements for a driver. The staff was very nice."

"Atria was close to my home. The person I talked to was very knowledgeable, very kind and very in tune to our needs. The person who toured us, however, was not the same person and she did not have the same depth of knowledge, so it was a disappointment. The staff members we met were very nice. The place was clean and the rooms as well as the amenities were very nice. It feels kind of isolated, but the campus was spread out. They had a lot of good and diverse activities. We did eat lunch there and the food was very good. They had a couple of different menus. "
