"My visit at Oakmont of Escondido Hills was fine. The people were friendly and welcoming, they showed us around, and answered all my questions. The rooms are very nice, they're just at the higher end of our budget. The place looked nice and was kept up nicely. They showed us the library, they have a place to watch movies, dining facilities, and they have a swimming pool too. The staff member was nice, friendly, and prompt."

"The staff at Villa Monticello Assisted Living is wonderful. It’s a very small community with only 29 residents. The food is good and they are very helpful. The assisted living and memory care unit are all together in one area. They have some little exercises, they were singing yesterday, crossword puzzles and so on. My husband has a lot of freedom there because the residents can be outside. I’m very pleased with the place."

"Silvergate San Marcos has been my home for 1 year and 5 months. I have been very happy here and I think I made a good choice. The staff is available to hear your concerns and will help if possible. The caregivers, servers in the dining room and medical people call you by name. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room. This is a good time to socialize and meet new residents. The food is very good and plentiful. There are many activities available along with fun trips outside the residence. I love my spacious one-bedroom apartment. Each room has a large window looking out to the outside. It includes a kitchen area, two bathrooms and three closets. I love living here and would highly recommend Silvergate to anyone looking for great place to spend the rest of their retirement. "

"What I liked about Silvergate Rancho Bernardo was that many things are included in the price of rent. I'm in a senior community now and I have to pay separately for several things, but there, they're included. They also have more activities. They have a wonderful art room that I will enjoy. We ate in their dining room which had tablecloths for lunch and it was lovely. I had a shrimp cocktail with the largest shrimp I've ever seen in my life. I had a sandwich and yam fries for lunch. Dessert was Pistachio gelato. I thought I was in heaven. I went to five communities and it was the best."

The facility is very clean, comfortable, and home-like and there is a nice patio that my Father enjoyed on sunny days. "I toured Santianna. It was a fairly new property, I think, within the last five-years. It was very first class, nicely decorated, and had nice amenities. They invited us to come back for lunch at our convenience when it would work for us. The person who gave the tour was very highly experienced. From what I can see, they had quite a few activities and really nice grounds."

"It was an excellent facility. It was beautifully maintained. It looked like a very nice hotel when you walked in. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a lot of amenities that they offered. They had a library, a movie room, and an entire list of activities that they do every week, like Bible study, exercise classes, and clubs. The facility was really, really nice with very nice furnishings. They provide a laundry facility if you want to use it, but if you don't want to, they do your laundry for you. The rooms were really pretty. They were small, but they had everything you would need. There's a large closet and a little tiny balcony where you could put a couple of little chairs and a table. It had a little kitchenette with a countertop, cabinetry, and a built-in refrigerator for you. Then it had a very large bathroom with all the safety equipment, and everything that you could possibly need. I was impressed by their dining area. It was on-call dining 24/7. So, anybody who wants anything at any hour, they can just go and request it. None of the other places offered that. That was pretty neat. My only downside was they did not have a lot of exterior grounds for walking."
