I toured Las Villas Del Norte. It's a wonderful place. They don't have any carpeting or anything like that to absorb some of the sound, for my ears I couldn't handle it, but they had just a wonderful time. It is high quality. Everything about it, the inside, the quarters, and the food there. I do know about the food there because when my mom was there, the dining area, allowed them to choose. They have different choices to choose from different meals. They serve what they want to eat rather than this is what we're having to eat today, that kind of thing. They have artwork, like paintings or things along that line. They like doing puzzles in a place where they can do puzzles, play games, like a place to read if they want to read or sit in a rocking chair and rock, and watch TV.

Las Villas Del Norte is $3000 and they charge a community fee of $3000. Even though the facility is very nice, there's no way that I can afford to do this. I like that it's more of a restaurant approach to dining. They have a lot of different things that you could order there. It's more upscale than the others. The others are more cafeteria-style. You can have four or five different choices. It's more customized to the individuals. The staff was were very businesslike and very helpful. It's more of a hotel feel.

My mother has moved into Las Villas Del Norte. The thing I like best is that they have an enclosed courtyard where she can go walk whenever she wants to and that's important to her. The rooms are very nice. They're remodeling. When we decided to take a room, they took everything out and put in new floors, new countertops, and new cupboards. It was very nice. She thinks the food is good. I know today she went down and they were making wreaths for Valentine's Day. This afternoon, she's going to a program she hasn't been to before called This Is Your Life. I'm not sure what they do there, but I think they let them talk about what things they've done. They have a lot of activities. She hasn't participated in a lot yet because she just moved and we're still getting everything organized for her, but she enjoys them. The people are very nice here. It's very clean.

The tour at Las Villas Del Norte was really good. It was a nice place. The lady who gave me the tour was nice and very friendly. All the people who were working there were very kind to the elderly who were there. They pretty much had all the services that we needed. I looked at a studio, and it was nice. It was like a hotel room in size. They had activities. They had a swimming pool, so they did pool exercises, which is something we were looking for. They had arts and crafts. They have a restaurant-like setting for meals.

I visited Las Villas Del Norte. It didn't seem a very nice place to live in. I saw the people there. Overall, just throughout the hallways and such, there's generally a urine smell. My wife would not want to like it and be in the stage that she's in now because she is aware of some things. The staff showed the place where people could walk, the dining area, the lounge where they watch TV, the little area where they do arts and crafts, and then maybe a couple of the rooms. The staff who gave us the tour, Jennifer, was great. The facility seems visibly clean. Their rooms had a toilet, but the shower was a common area.

The tour at Las Villas Del Norte was good. I like this place because of the residents that live there. My husband is young, and I'm looking for a little bit more of a younger and also, a male caregiver, and they have more of that. They have a courtyard with some garden boxes, and then with the family, you can take your loved one out there. They have a big grassy area and a swimming pool. But the residents cannot go there on their own. The staff was knowledgeable and answered our questions. They had just remodeled the facility. It has nice colors. It's very modern and clean. The residents did not have to go outside of the room to go to the bathroom, which is important for my husband to have the bathroom right there in the room.

Mom really liked Las Villas Del Norte. We loved the rooms. They were spacious and nice. They had everything like a pool table, games, and bingo. It had an outdoor pool, but it just didn't have water aerobics.

My mother moved into Las Villas Del Norte. I chose it for the openness of the grounds and the property. They had a large courtyard; a large open area of grass. It made it feel more like a residential area versus less like a hospital. I give the staff a five for the care they've shown her so early on, and doing things that we didn't ask for, like they braided her hair, and just have shown a lot of care towards her; they painted her nails, those kinds of things. We went to dinner there and the food was amazing. Every day there's kinds of activities, whether it's painting, arts and crafts, and there's groups like karaoke. They have a pool that's accessible.

Las Villas Del Norte has been wonderful. We have been very, very pleased. The facility is large. It even has a swimming pool. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and very considerate (especially since you go through a lot when you do this). My mom has a studio apartment in assisted living, and hers is very nice. It's exactly what she needed. It's surprising how big it is. With the furniture in it, there's still so much room. The bathroom is wonderful, and they have the best walk-in showers. I was so impressed. We've been very happy with her room. We were kind of lucky too because her room is located right by the bistro. You go maybe 15 steps and you're in the dining room. You go across the hall and there's the beauty shop. You go the other direction across the hall and there's the elevator where you can go up to the community store and the big library. She's in the perfect spot. It was amazing. Right now, they're kind of on a semi-lockdown because of the new Covid cases; they're being very careful. They're not letting anyone else eat in the dining room. We're all wearing our masks when we're there. Even though I've been vaccinated and have my booster and everybody in the facility has been vaccinated and had their booster, they're having all of us be extra cautious. My mother is loving the food and is super happy with the food. I have not tried the food myself because of them not letting us in their dining room yet, but we might get to do Christmas there. I know they had Thanksgiving for everyone. They have a humongous courtyard. They had tables set up there, so they sat outside and ate Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know if we'll get to do that for Christmas or not. My mother's already done several activities. They've had mocha and peppermint drinks before dinner at the bistro next door to her room, and they've had happy hours. There's been a gentleman who came in and sang for them already. There's a baby grand piano in the dining room so apparently, he was in there and sang to them. She's already done one of the exercise classes too. The other day there was a nice dog that they brought in. Of course, they've also been busy decorating for Christmas right now and I know she's excited about the dime bingo too. I know that they've got several things going for Christmas. The whole building had just recently been remodeled and then we saw her room before the other gentleman was completely moved out. We saw how the entire place had been repainted, the floors were done and we felt that they had completely prepped the room and had it all ready for her. As far as the rest of the place, it's in great shape. Luckily for us, they had just finished a few months ago with a complete remodel and you can tell it, it's very nice. It's $2600 and for us right now, it's nice seeing that my mother has already made friends. She has rattled off information about at least 11 people that have gone through. I gotta see her start making friends before I even left the other day. It was the very first day she moved in. She came out to have her peppermint mocha drink, and she was already talking to a couple of ladies. They made room for her to sit down in between them. It's been going like that ever since. She had three friends that sat at a table with her yesterday. She's been super excited telling me about everything and everyone. The only problem that she's had so far is her TV. There's something wrong with the connection and they have to work on that but that's not them, that's network. They've been so kind and so helpful and their nurse was fabulous. Even though my mother doesn't need a lot of care, they came that day and checked her all over. They made sure that they kept in contact with her as she's getting settled. I checked a lot of places and for what this place offers, it was the best that I could find.

The admissions staff at Las Villas Del Norte was fabulous; they exceeded all of my customer service expectations. They were incredibly helpful for a first-time family trying to figure out how to do this. They answered everything I asked and helped me with things I didn't even know I needed there. The facility was fine. The day when I was there, it was under renovation. They were ripping up all the carpets and they were painting. And so it's not like it was beautiful that day, but it told me that they invest in their place to keep it nice and newly renovated. I haven't been back to see the renovations done, but the rooms were very clean. The facility was beautiful and has nice outdoor areas, which was important to me. My father-in-law doesn't like to be inside. So having a beautiful outdoor lawn area and social areas, they were very intentional in helping to make connections for the residents. As a male, they already had other men lined up to meet him and welcome him and make him feel comfortable. So if I was going to go anywhere, it would be there. They were just fabulous. The dining area was large and inviting; a great conversation area. So the environment looks very welcoming. They have a nice menu and they had a good selection of menus to pick from. The outdoors were calming, relaxing, large, spacious, and had beautiful outdoor gardens. There are gazebos that you could sit under and you just either sit by yourself or sit with someone else and have a conversation.

Las Villas Del Norte was nice. We had to do the tour over video, but it was OK. They've been doing really well with my mother-in-law. She hasn't complained. I haven't seen anything physically and I haven't been to her room. It's really nice and clean in there, but I have only seen the front lobby area. She hasn't done any activities, but they have them there if she does decide to go and do something. They're the best priced in the area.

The tour at Las Villas Del Norte was good, but it was way too big for my father-in-law. For the money, I thought it was a little expensive. It looked more corporate like and not as homey feeling. The staff members said hello and hi on the elevators and stuff. The place looked very nice, but I would rate them a four because it wasn't what my father-in-law was looking for, and the parking was really bad.

We chose Las Villas Del Norte for my mother. The staff is very helpful with all of our needs. It's a clean facility, and it had everything that we needed. They have a swimming pool, play bingo, and have music. They were great and answered everything that I needed. They have a sit-down restaurant that you can go in and order food. It has a full salad bar and a soup bar, and there are tablecloths and glasses to drink out of and silverware. It's even better than a restaurant. They don't have residents hanging out in the hallway like in a skilled nursing facility.

My wife was in rehab at Las Villas Del Norte for a while. The place was adequate and provided the rehab that was necessary. It was a standard place with average rooms, and it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I also think that the staff members were adequate. They do daily dressings, attend to patients' personal requirements, and things of that nature.

There was not enough patient assistance. There might have been only 2 for the whole floor and when you are given 2 water pills you can not wait 20 to 30 minutes for a bed pan. The assistants were great just short staffed, and spread way to thin.. The management needs to put less of them and more patient assistants. The need to budget time and money better.

Las Villas Del Norte had a nice and cheerful appearance. The person who assisted us was very helpful, professional, and answered all our questions. We saw the dining area, and it was very good. They also had activities for their residents.

We visited Las Villas, and I wasn't happy with the way the food smelled. It was a little pricey and not independent living. When you come in, it seems a little depressing, not bright and wonderful. There were people in wheelchairs sitting right in the little room next to the door, and it was not appealing to my friend.

Las Villas is very pretty and the staff is very friendly. The food is quite good. That is where the good ends. My dad returned to his assisted studio apartment from the hospital and had no clothing, bedding, or his power recliner. He was soiled and had a bloody rash. I requested that he be showered and changed into clean clothing at that time. I was told that would happen. That was on Friday night. On Monday morning he was lying flat on the bed, still in the same soiled clothing, and still without his clothing, bedding, or recliner in the room. His arm had bled and the dirty shirt was stuck to the sore. In the skilled area, he was left without clean clothing, and with his soiled clothing remaining on the bathroom floor for at least 12 hours. They were apologetic, but didn't seem to take my concerns seriously. I could not, in good conscience, recommend this facility to anyone. The one star is more than I would like to give them

I was very diappointed in this facility. The nursing care leaves much to be desired. The facility is clean and without an unpleasant oder. The pt dept is a joke not wanting to trat this man although he was transfered from an acute rehab facility. The management is insulting and rude. They switched us from a private room to a semi private room without prior knowledge. This place is not for a loved one.

We didn’t care for Las Villas at all. There was no parking available on the day that we showed up. There was high traffic in terms of people. It’s an older facilityT, and it was really dark. he community area was also very dark. They said they kept it dark as it added a feeling of calm. The people did seem very nice though.

My parent has been at this facility for many years, yet no one that works there knows who he is. I asked his nurse, and she told me she had only been there a month and a half so she didn't really know about him or his conditions. Uhm how long does it take to know someone? The laundry service is laughable. You may or may not get your laundry items returned to you. They have a total disregard and lack of respect for your personal items. If you ask a question about anything, you will NOT get a straight answer. They pass the buck so much, I need a gps to find out who I need to talk to next to get a question answered or a concern addressed. If you end up at this facility, be prepared to be a squeaky wheel or you will be completely over looked and ignored.

I dropped into the memory care of Las Villas Del Norte right after dinnertime, and it was pretty bad. A woman fell out of her wheelchair as she was being pushed. She was bleeding and they didn’t have enough people on-site to help. The caregiver and residents of the memory care were getting upset because they were waiting in their wheelchairs and there was no one available to push them out of the area, so they were all sitting in the hallway. After I toured that facility, I was turned off by it. The rooms were OK, but they didn’t have a neighborhood like I wanted where someone in memory care can roam around. Everyone was in wheelchair, so I didn’t like that at all.

Las Villas Del Norte was the first place I visited and saw my first model rooms. The studio was too small. They had nice grounds, and I liked the neighborhood that it was in. There is a large mall across the street. I had a good tour with the concierge who took me around. I had a very good feeling about the place.

Las Villas Del Norte has an assisted living section and a skilled nursing section where we’ve had a wonderful experience every time my mother-in-law has had acute rehab there. It’s clean, and they take good care of the patients. She’s been there twice: once post-stroke and once after hip replacement. Each time, the acute care section of their skilled nursing facility has just been wonderful. It’s a very nice facility that I would highly recommend, especially for the nursing staff and the care staff.

My dad is at Las Villas Del Norte. We like it a lot. We’re very happy there. His room is perfect. It meets his needs perfectly. We feel like it’s a good price for all the services that he receives. He eats every day, and he is very happy there. I would recommend this place to others.

We moved my husband at Las Villas Del Norte because he needed more care than we could provide him. The staff has been very good in keeping an eye on him, but they need more caregivers for their residents, as they are understaffed. The assisted-living part was great, but the memory care was another story. They show you the best part and then the worst part when you get in there.

I liked Las Villas overall. Their assisted living was very nice, but their memory care -- which is what we were looking for -- had showers that were separate from the rooms, so the residents had to walk down the hallway to the shower. I didn’t want to place our aunt where she has to walk down the hallway to take a shower; I would want her to take a shower in her own room and not have to go down the hallway. The staff was very friendly; they were nice. They had skilled nursing, and this was one of the things I liked about the place. The rooms were pretty small; they were some of the smallest rooms I'd seen. They were playing a memory game to remember actors, actresses, and famous directors of old movies like Alfred Hitchcock -- things like that.

Nancy set up a meeting for me to tour many places for my father, after touring I found Las Villas Del Norte to be very clean and surprising they were priced very reasonable compared to the others I looked at and also have studio apartments which many places don't offer. The staff is very friendly and accomadating, the residents are also very welcoming and friendly. My Father likes the food which was very important to him and for $10.00 each we can pay and enjoy having a meal in the dining room with my Father which we often do and have discovered that many of our friends have parents there.

My visit with Elmcroft was fine. It was probably the best and most helpful interview and guided tour I might say that I had. That was the only one of the four I visited that I would consider for my partner. It was my best option partly because they had a separate facility although it was limited for patients who still needed some kind of care on a short-term basis, and I really thought that was going to be appropriate. The layout of their facility was better for my partner who needed a walker or transport chair. The layout, the staff, and everything else was just the best. I saw the dining room, and it was the best. They were open 24 hours.

We are in the process of moving my mother to Las Villas Del Norte and she will start living there around October. I choose it because it has five levels of care. They have the independent, assisted living, skilled nursing, vintage, if they had a broken hip or something, and then they have the memory care. So far, the people working there seem good. They seem really busy, and it appears that they could use more help. I saw a couple of different rooms, there's a brand new wing that has been built, and it is beautiful. However, for mom's situation, it will not be the best. So, she will be on the main part of the building, which is older and has not been updated, but they are going to paint and place new carpets down for mom. It is good. It is a little apartment with a little kitchenette, a balcony, and one bedroom. They have activities like exercises just about every day. They have a pool. They usually have one or two kind of scene thing like a luau every month and on Wednesday, they go out to the grocery store and CVS. They also have a pedicure place that they can go to. I think it is good. I have eaten there, mom will eat brunch there again on Sunday, and she is surprised that she can have that every week.

Mom is in a studio apartment at Elmcroft of Las Villas. We like the people who work there and we like how they care for the residents. They were friendly and kind. I also like the cleanliness of the facility. It had a nice fresh smell and their lighting is pretty good. It has an outdoor area that is lovely with grass and trees near the swimming pool. Their dining room is pretty and we like their food. They have a selection where if you don’t want what is being served, you can select from several sandwiches and several salads. They have a salad bar and a soup bar. They do some activities, like they go on scenic drives, attend concerns, and go on walks to several parks. The facility has a happy feeling to it.

Elmcroft was clean, and it was nicely decorated and maintained. There wasn't anything really negative. It seemed to be well-run. I had good feeling about it; it had a homey feeling. They're not allowed pets. There was one person, and she was very, very friendly and a very nice person to talk to. I was pleased.

My visit with Las Villas Del Norte – it was very clean facility, seems to be very caring people. They have a lot of activities. When the nurse came out to evaluate my mother, she was very thorough and very kind. The dining room was clean and very formal. It was like a restaurant.

Overall, Las Villas Del Norte is a very nice facility. They have one bedroom. They have balconies and it's pretty much like every place that I've seen, but it's very clean and it's reasonably priced. It also got continuum level of care.
