"Westmont Village is a nice facility, just a little pricey. Other than that, it was nice, it's huge. I think my mom would get lost there, it's so big. If she decides to go there, they'll have someone that'll shadow her until she gets used to where everything's located. It can be overwhelming because it's really large. They have a lot of amenities to offer. It's like a world within itself. They have everything that a person could need or want. I was shocked at how big it was, and it's well-maintained like it is. I think it's worth it. It's a little pricey, but I'm at it. It's a great place, I think. They showed us everything except for the memory care. We didn't need to see that. The staff is very knowledgeable of what they had to offer. Even though he had been there a short period, he's only been there a short time, but he knows everything that they had offered. He was able to answer any questions that we have or concerns. They have a stove and microwave. I'm surprised that they have stoves in there. They have a swimming pool, exercising, and they even have fitness therapists to work with people with leg and joint pains, stuff like that."

"Atria Del Rey was a really nice and clean facility. The staff was friendly. They have all kinds of activities like bingo and arts and crafts. It was good for the residents. They also have exercises. "

"Plymouth Village provides a wonderful environment for all levels of living with or without assistance. My mother lives in the independent duplexes but receives a small level of assistance with medication (beyond what that 'independent' level provides ~ which includes many things like house keeping, transportation, maintenance, etc). There are options to buy in and live there the remaining wonderful years of her life and be assured that she will be taken care of no matter what her financial situation comes to. Or, she can just rent month to month and be available to move elsewhere if she so chooses. The options are nice to have. The quality of service, food, activities and assistance with financial issues is very good. It is wonderful to hear from my Mom that she enjoys the community, the activities and the beautiful landscaping of that community. Her quality of life and health (mental and physical) has improved greatly with the consistent care and activity opportunities provided; activities that she would not be able to access if she lived completely alone in her own home. I highly recommend this community for any family or friend who would like to live in a beautiful, caring environment without the worries of living completely alone. "

"Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga is very nice, but it isn't as nice presentation wise as the other two places I went to. It's location was very park-like and I liked that."

"I toured The Village, and it was very impressive. It has a fantastic restaurant and it also had other options for dining. It has fairly spacious apartments, too. But the locale is not ideal; it's not a good environment. I'm looking for more like a villa rather than an apartment. I was interested in the continuing care situation and that's what the village offers. The staff was very helpful, very professional, very upbeat, and very welcoming. The food is amazing. It was a five, and if there was a higher number than five, I would give them that. It was just the best kind of five-star restaurant you could dine in. They have every kind of activity that you could be looking for as a retired person. They do day trips, and they have a movie theater. It was ideal; except I don't want to be in an apartment, and I did not like the city it was located in."

"The aspect that made Inland Christian Home stand out above other assisted living facilities that I have visited was the quality of the staff that worked with the clients. Like other places I have visited, this facility offers some of the standard activities and services for elderly residents. I saw people engaged in games, coming home from outings, and eating and chatting together. Another thing I liked about this facility is that it offers a number of different levels for residents, ranging from independent living to constant care. It is nice not to have to move to a different facility when one's level of care changes. But as I said before, the quality of the staff is what distinguishes this facility--staff members were patient and seemed to really know the personalities of the residents, down to the names of their grandchildren. The staff also seems to stick around, which makes for a more stable environment. "
