"I went to Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga. The facility, the layout, and the upkeep appeared very nice. They're a brand new facility, so hopefully it stays that way. It's a very nice and clean facility right now. I was very pleased with the friendliness and the welcoming attitude of the staff and workers. The food was very good. They had a beauty salon, a game room (like an arts and crafts area), a gym, and a theater room to watch movies. We also like the fact that they have a swimming pool with ramp access. My grandparents will be able to do water aerobics and things like that. Also, when the great grandchildren come to visit, they can sit out by the pool and watch the kids play and that sort of thing. They post a new activity calendar once a month. It has the activities spelled out, so they can plan their shopping days and stuff like that. I saw arts and crafts, and they have a bunch of different card games going on. The facility overall is great. I wish that the room was slightly larger because there's going to be two of them in a room. The room we were able to get is smaller. We're hoping to get a bigger one."

"Mount San Antonio Gardens was way beyond my means. It's way too big and way too expensive for me, but it was very nice. It's basically like country club living. They had very nice people. They were very willing to help and show you around. They got a swimming pool, a putting green, tennis courts, a big library, a beauty shop, and a barber shop. They have just really about anything you'd want."

"Hillcrest is two blocks from my house. I liked the staff, and they provide full hospice and medical care. The staff isn't overly friendly because they're busy, but everything was within the nurses' station, and no one's left out in the cold or way down the hall. They offer private rooms which you can decorate however you'd like. It's perfect for end of life. It's not beautiful, but it does the job."

"I have been a resident since May 2016. The freedom to continue my enjoyment in the way I pursue happiness didn't diminish but was enhanced by the Transition. Day to day one selects from many options what to think about and what activity to engage in.. Staff is concerned with your well being, and at the same time allow for alternative choices. Its been stated we the residents are on a stationary cruise ship. steady, unsinkable, and based on a moral foundation. From the maintenance crew, grounds keeping, housekeeping, food service, activities to administration all are in harmony on the same page to provide what can be described as A Heavily Earth... "

"I visited Town & Country Manor. My visit was very positive. It's a very well-maintained community and the staff was good. It was one of my choices, but I changed my mind because the location is in a busy area of Santa Ana. They have lots of amenities and I was very pleased. I saw their dining area as well, as well as a 1-bedroom, 1-bath, which was adequate. Their amenities were upscale. I also met the staff when they were doing physical therapy, yoga and things like that. They were very warm and accommodating."

"I toured Plymouth Village. It was a very nice place. It was like a park -like setting. It's on 34 acres of land. They have all needs of care. They have exactly what we want with independent living. We're looking for a house. The staff was really friendly and good information. They have cottages; they don't have apartments. They have lots of activities. They have a pool, they have a gym, and they have outings. They have a lot of activities going on during the week. The staff who accommodated me was very friendly and informative. She took a lot of time and answered all our questions. They fed us lunch, and it was about a 4."

"Having lived at the Atherton for 21months I don't know about everything that is available. But I can tellyou from my experience it is a wonderful place with a christian atmosphere. The food is delicious with caring servers. There are a number of studies you can be a part of.We have a inside pool kept at 80 degrees, a spa, pool room,exercise equipment, etc. We have plots for gardening, this is what I really like. there are art classes, a large library,and a a variety of games. As you can tell my wife and I are very happy here. "
