The Best Communities in Riverside County, CA

"Westmont Village was a beautiful facility, and the price was excellent. But it was a little bit further out of Riverside, and the facility was too big, so my uncle would literally get lost going from one place to another. It was a military base before, and it was bought out and they rebuilt it. It was gorgeous. It was private and gated. There's homes surrounding the assisted living side. It's just like a whole town. I saw the restaurant and it looked like a huge five-star restaurant. They had a room for playing cards and bingo, libraries, and a room for playing dominoes. There were several activities that you got to choose from for the day. Charlie was the one that took me around, and he was excellent."

"The Village Hemet was very expensive. They have an independent living and a nursing home, so once you're in, you can transfer back and forth. This facility was lovely. It was a very upscale, high-quality and comfortable place. I really like it, but I could no way afford it. They have fabulous food. They have their own high-quality chef that runs everything. We had luncheon there and the residents there said they eat that way all the time. They really have a fabulous food situation, but you would have to be very high-income to live there. The rooms were very nice. They had them all decorated. You can have a dog or a cat there with you. As for their staff, they were lovely except for one receptionist. I thought she was a little snooty. However, they're fabulous and nice. Most everyone who lived there was very comfortable. If I have all the money in the world, I would take The Village. "

"Plymouth Village provides a wonderful environment for all levels of living with or without assistance. My mother lives in the independent duplexes but receives a small level of assistance with medication (beyond what that 'independent' level provides ~ which includes many things like house keeping, transportation, maintenance, etc). There are options to buy in and live there the remaining wonderful years of her life and be assured that she will be taken care of no matter what her financial situation comes to. Or, she can just rent month to month and be available to move elsewhere if she so chooses. The options are nice to have. The quality of service, food, activities and assistance with financial issues is very good. It is wonderful to hear from my Mom that she enjoys the community, the activities and the beautiful landscaping of that community. Her quality of life and health (mental and physical) has improved greatly with the consistent care and activity opportunities provided; activities that she would not be able to access if she lived completely alone in her own home. I highly recommend this community for any family or friend who would like to live in a beautiful, caring environment without the worries of living completely alone. "
