"The staff at San Joaquin Gardens were well versed in senior care. I felt that my relative was getting the best care possible. The rooms were clean and orderly, the activities offered were varied, and everyone who worked there appeared to have the residents best interests at heart. In one instance, my relative was getting very depressed and was choosing to isolate herself. Several of the nurses aids went out of their way every day to cheer her up and get her involved with her neighbors. My only negative comment is on their decor. At the time the facility was quite dated, but I thought they'd recently remodeled. "

This past year my relative lost 10 lbs that needed to stay on their bones. Other aspects of the facility are very good. Having a full range of care on site is very comforting."

"Our experience touring Palm Village Retirement Community was very good and very nice. I thought it was very well kept and very well organized for memory care. I thought it was great. The rooms were very nice. High-quality upgrades. Good furniture. Everything was nice. The room was more of a studio set-up like a hotel room. They have both skilled nursing and memory care areas, and they also have memory care in the skilled nursing, which is a combination that's hard to find. I saw their rooms, the eating area, and the outdoor garden."
