Atria Covina was clean and neat, but the problem was most of it was carpeted. My mother-in-law is allergic to carpets. The room size was OK. Everything was pretty good. The staff was very friendly. They gave me a schedule of activities and that's pretty good. The first thing I saw was the carpet and the time they were serving lunch. Those did not fit our needs. I didn't pay attention to the layout.

Our second choice is Atria Covina. It's a much older place. But the people there were very nice. The staff who gave the tour was very personable and very nice. They didn't have as much as the other place as far as what's available, but it was a very nice place. It almost made you feel like you lived in your own apartment, that's how I felt. It looked very clean.

I visited this property to tour and walked in on a boardwalk party. There were lots of residents and people there playing games you would at a carnival with prizes and a raffle and some food with cotton candy and sno cones. Very nice since my mom loves people and likes to be active and have fun. The rooms are nice and can be decorated very cute. The price is reasonable and the small size of this place makes you feel like you are not overwhelmed or will be lost. I like that the most. Overall, this would be the place for my mom.

My brother is a resident of Atria Covina. I love the size of the room. It’s just right for him. They clean the room every week and does his laundry and they do a great job. The staff is great here. Everyone is so friendly. My brother loves them all. The food is great. They have a great menu. If you want something different other than what’s on the menu, they’ll let you know what other items they can offer you instead.

I love this place. The rooms are nice, the staff are great: friendly and attentive. The menu in the dining room is varied and tasty, and the activities are plentiful. I can't even think of living anywhere else. Besides, all my friends are here!

I received a tour of Atria and was pleased with what I saw of the community. I liked its smaller and more intimate setting. The sales associate, Deana was very nice and helpful and the cost seemed reasonable. I also liked that they offered transportation to the nearby Community Center to provide more activities for interested residents. I ended up choosing a different community for my parents as I had specific language requirements but would have highly considered Atria as an option if that was not the case.

Atria Covina was very good. The place was clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms were good size. They have a lovely courtyard, but it is on a busy street, so that's the only problem with that. They sent me away with some delicious baked goods that they made there. The facility was very decent. I liked it.

I like Atria Covina. It was nice, like the service, the attention, and the meals. The staff took me around and showed me one of the apartments. The room was nice. The staff gave me some sugar-free muffins to take home, and they were really good. I saw the library and the art room. They could improve the way the bathroom was set up.

Atria Covina was nice. I liked them. It's a little different because it's a smaller facility. The people were nice. They had activities, but it wasn't as broad a variety because it's smaller. The people that I saw there seemed to be happy. We had lunch there, and it was pretty good. I had a beef sandwich, and my dad had an egg salad sandwich. It wasn't fabulous, but it wasn't bad either. I like that they had options though. If they didn't like what was on the menu, they could order a hamburger or a sandwich from the grill, so that was nice. And the dining room was nice, too. The rooms were nice; I liked them. They allow a microwave and a mini fridge if you want them. I thought it was nice that they have that option. They had washers and dryers, and I was impressed by that. I also liked the people. They were good, too.

We got to tour the rooms at Atria Covina that were occupied and they were very nice. We liked that facility. The only problem was we got there a little bit too late to get the room we wanted. The building was very clean. There was no odor. The service was very nice. They were all very helpful and very friendly. The coordinator met with us and explained everything in detail about what she would be doing, the cost, and everything. When we left, they gave us a package with some of their muffins and they were really good.

My mother is a resident at Atria. Espi has done a wonderful job in planning activities. Gloria provides transportation and she has done an excellent job in taking the residents to fun locations. Catherine does housekeeping and always keeps my mom’s room clean. Edgar is very patient and understanding and does a good job of taking care of my mom. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

We toured Atria Covina for my aunt and uncle. We liked it a lot. That's actually one of our favorites because we liked the atmosphere that we saw there. Everybody was very nice. The place looked very clean and kept well. They had studio apartments and they also had two-bedroom apartments. The staff was very helpful and very nice. They gave us a very good sense of having them there with no worries. There was a coordinator there that had different activities planned, and they had a lot of very nice things for them to get involved with. They had a library and a computer center.

My mom has moved into Atria Covina. They were very welcoming, the staff is friendly, and it's a pleasant living environment. They were extremely helpful and supportive. The rooms are fine. It's an older facility, but it's well-kept and clean. The food is the best, my mom said that. They have a large dining room, and the staff is very nice. The chef came out and introduced himself to my mom and asked her if there was anything special that she liked and asked her about allergies; that was on the first day. They have exercise activities, and they have holiday things that go on. My sister went there, and she said they had a margarita night. In terms of value for the money, it seems reasonable.

I like the way Atria Covina takes care of their residents. They would call you right away if something happens to your loved one. My mom's apartment is almost bigger than what she needs. It's nice. They clean the carpet and they have maid service that comes in to clean the bathrooms and vacuums the rugs. The dining room is also very nice. It's a fairly good size. The facility has an overall very pleasant and clean atmosphere.

Atria Covina was real good. The rooms were kind of small, but the facility was good and the staff was incredible. I liked the staff. I also tried some of their muffins and they were very good. They do everything for you there. They shave you, do your toenails and fingernails. So, they have very good amenities. The atmosphere felt comfortable and it felt like a home.

I went to see Atria Covina. There was nothing wrong with it. It's just that it was too pricey. I didn't interview the staff because it was just a brief visit. I was there for ten minutes and they just walked me around and that's it. It's just that when it came down to the price that's what didn't satisfy me. It's way too high. I don't know why they're so high. I liked the facility, in general, but the price is just way too high. The place is in Covina, it was right off on San Bernardino Road, right across the street from the dollar store. I remember what really turned me off about the price was that you also had to pay $2000 upfront for some expenses. In addition to the monthly payment, there was a $2000 upfront you had to put up for the beginning of my mom's stay there. I saw the rooms and everything is fine. I didn't talk to any of the staff, just the one person who accommodated me. She's nice as she should be. They're always nice when they try to sell you something. They gave me a free coffee cake or something because I was there.

Atria Covina was pretty good. The manager did all the reviews with me, and it was complete. She was thorough with everything and gave me pricing and everything, so I would say that it was a very good tour. The rooms were very well-kept and clean. Everything was fine. It was clean and well-kept. I noticed that a lot of visitors were coming, so apparently they like the people there. From what I got only from the pamphlet and from the staff, I guess they covered everything. I didn't try the food. I was just shown the menu, and the muffins that she sent me home with were quite good. My husband enjoyed them.

I noticed that Atria Covina had medical support; nurses and doctors that would both come to the facilities. I think it is pleasing to many people that they had an in-house salon for hair care and other personal grooming. That makes it a little bit more convenient for the residents. I only really met two people, and they were very informed and very professional.

We went to Atria Covina. It was a clean, welcoming, friendly, and well-kept facility. We loved it. The rooms were just regular rooms like in a hotel, and there was no kitchenette. They're decent size, like a bedroom and a bathroom only. I don't remember seeing too much of activities, but it looked like they had people coming in and entertaining them. Activities looked very adequate, but I don't remember the details exactly. There was an activity board, and there was something for every day. They gave us muffins, and they were delicious.

I toured Atria Covina for my mom, and I loved it there. The coordinator of the guests was very personable, down to earth, very helpful, took a lot of time with me, and answered all my questions. She just was very calming and made me feel comfortable about the place, that my mom would be in a safe environment and well looked after. I just had a really good feeling about it. It's not too big, not too small, just a very inviting, comfortable place with lots of light and openness. And I felt like it was not too sterile. The rooms were a decent size with lots of light and space. They had a nice closet, and the bathroom has a step-in shower. It was very fresh smelling too, just clean and fresh, and does not smell old or stale. I went there first to kind of assess whether it was the right environment for my mom. And then we had an appointment, and they were very accommodating to our schedule. But my mom had changed her mind and never made it back down to have a meal with them. Although when I went there, they sent me home with freshly made cranberry orange muffins that were still warm in a nicely packed bakery box, and they were delicious, so I'm assuming the food's very good there. It's a little different right now during Covid, but they have a shuttle. At the time that I visited, it was only taking one person at a time. But she said they do take trips to Knott's Berry Farm and the activities director walks everyone over to North Woods Inn for happy hour on Fridays. They have exercise classes; I believe every day. If the weather's nice, they take them out into the courtyard to do it outside. They will take you to your doctor's appointments, to the grocery store, or the Dollar Tree.

We had a tour of Atria Covina. It's a very nice facility, very clean, and well-organized. They had buses available to bus people around. They did provide us with a box of pastries on our way out actually, and it was very good.

Atria Covina has different levels of care. The cost of the room was more than my dad's current community, and it was actually smaller for a studio. This community is smaller and the rooms are also smaller, but it costs way more just for the housing part of it, not including the levels of care. I didnt like the location because my dad has onset of dementia, and he could just walk right out on the street. The community is accessible, but should have more fencing so people can't just wander off. It's not really an extended level of care place, it just has assisted living, and that's why I didn't choose this one. The dining area was very nice, it felt comfortable, it was clean, and elegantly done. They have tablecloths, and the chairs and everything were up-to-date. I just didn't like the location because it's on a main busy street and the parking was an issue. They need more enclosures and parking. I think they should be located in a neighborhood, because it's in a busy shopping area. They have all the amenities, an exercise room, a library, an entertainment room with the big TV, and all that. It was nice.

We chose Atria Covina because it was more cost effective for my brother. They were very attentive and always in his room. They were very resident-oriented and always checking on him. They had very good rapport and communication. He was only there a month. He liked the food and was happy with the outings they had and with what they had available there.

The rooms at Atria Covina were OK, but the place sits off 2 main streets, so there is a lot of traffic. To me, it wasn't a retirement community. It was sitting in the middle of downtown Los Angeles, and it didn't seem homey even though the lady that showed me around was really nice. They gave me a sample of baked goods, they were really good, but I saw people just sitting outside off their patio, which was facing a parking lot. I thought that was so sad. To me, there shouldn't be so much noise from the city. It should have been kind of lush and comfortable. The people were really nice, and it was OK inside, but it was old and not updated.

Atria is very good and affordable. The surroundings are pretty good, and the rooms are spacious. I was very impressed that there were 40 workers for 45 residents. I think my husband would get enough attention there, but he was in a bad mood when they evaluated him, and they rejected him.

Atria Covina is located in a very busy street. I feel like the people are not happy; I didn’t get a good feeling about the facility, although the rooms are okay. What bothered me during my visit was I had an appointment, and they knew I was coming. But when I arrived, they didn’t know who I was. Finally, they had to find someone to help me who isn’t familiar with what goes on there. She was lost with every question I asked. They didn’t have any brochures. I am not impressed with them at all.

Atria was very nice, the people were very friendly, and the ladies were really nice and helpful. I wish I would have probably put her in there in the beginning, but their rooms were full. The staff was really nice, and the place was clean. They were not as big as the other places, but they still had a lot of activities. They have cooks. You get a menu of a choice of what you want. You can get hotdogs and a sandwich anytime of the day.

I did go and look at Atria Covina. The people there were very nice, and it seemed to me that the staff was very nice. The location was right near a very busy street, and I wasn't too crazy about that, but the place was very nice and clean. The dining room was nice, the rooms were fine, and it seemed to be a small community -- which is what I was looking for -- so it is a possibility. They seemed very friendly, and they were very nice. I didn't see much of an outdoor area. The area that I saw was right off the parking lot.

The staff was excellent at Atria Covina. The rooms were expensive. They were kind of small. They have activities like watching TV and playing cards. I think they also visit different places. It looked really nice. For somebody who needs it, it would be excellent.

When we go to Atria Covina, it is generally for special occasions, so I don't know if they cater it or if they actually cook it there, but it's really good when we have it. My father said it's kind of the same everyday. They have a guy come in and play piano maybe every other week, another guy who comes in and does musical requests, and then they have bingo a couple of times a week, exercises, and they go to the casino once a month. They usually go to a restaurant once a month, but they have to pay for it. His room is normal from what we've seen, but for him, it is just fine. He likes the people and the whole atmosphere. They are very nice and friendly, everyone from the leaders down to the people cleaning the rooms.

Our friend is at Atria Covina, and it is a good fit for her. We are happy with it. It is a very pleasant place. It is small, having 62 residents. They have a full schedule of events that you can go to, and our friend really likes the outings that they have. She is in a wheelchair, and they take her on the van twice a week to just tour the neighborhood, and she loves it. That group of people are pretty good. The dining room is good looking, and I think they have a nice choice of food. I saw her studio apartment, and I think it is large. She has a private bath, closet, a front door, a backdoor, and air-conditioning. The staff knows us. They're very friendly when we come in, and they know our friend very well. They're very cordial.

Atria Covina was very neat. The staff was very friendly. I saw a couple of apartments and I thought they were very nice; some of them had their own tiny patios. The dining area was very open and nicely laid out. I was surprised that they had so many activities. There was a crafts place, a library, an area for music, and a conference room for Bingo and things like that.

I went to Atria Covina, and the facility is fine. The location is in the middle of Covina, and maybe some people would like it, but my brother wanted to be in a place that had younger people. I had the feeling that the staff there really cared about the residents there, and they were hard working.

Mom likes Atria and she chooses it because it is small. The staff is all very friendly, helpful and professional. She's in a private room with a bathroom and it seems to be adequate. Their dining room is set up nicely and there I have eaten there a couple times. The food seems to be fine. They have activities all day long. They keep the residents busy. They have exercise, bingo, lots of music and walks. They have religious services. They take them out on a weekly excursions and sightseeing.

My mom like Atria Covina. Everything's included like the food, the housekeeping and the laundry, etc. The staff is nice. However, they only have one driver for the whole facility. So if the residents have doctors' appointments or other appointments, they have to work around Atria's schedule. If you have over 40 residents, then one bus driver is not going to work. The food is bland. My mom doesn't like eating there. She always wants me to take her food there because the food is not good quality. The quality, the taste and the portions aren't acceptable for the amount that she is paying per month. Regarding activities though, she enjoys them. There's no complaint there.
