"I went on a tour here yesterday. I had a very lovely experience there. The atmosphere was wonderful. The amenities were amazing. I like the transparency. The staff was just being upfront and honest about the apartment. She certainly is warm, she certainly gave me the impression that she would be deciding as if it was her mom. She was patient and knowledgeable. I wish the apartments were larger. However, that might just be something I would have to get over because of all the other amenities. I wouldn't need the stove, all the extra towels and linens, and things like that. I think one of those spaces was 700 square feet., and that's a pretty small area for two people. However, I really can't say enough about the amenities that the community offers, the transportation, the meals, the chef, and the ala carte. It was a wonderful experience. The dining area is beautiful, laid out, spacious, and warm. It was nice. The residents were playing cards."

"It was a very good facility, and my visit there was nice and thorough. It was one of the places I would like my mom to see. They had enough room, and it was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly, easy to talk to, and very attentive to everybody."

"I found Rowntree Gardens very pleasant. The staff was very pleasant as well. It seemed clean, very accommodating, and a fun place to be. I would want to place my mother there. "

"What I love about Park View Place is that it's super new. It's only two years old. And it's very clean. The staff was very good. They gave us a tour of everything. Everything was super clean. I like their setup on how they do things. Instead of calling it a cafeteria, they call it the restaurant and it's open from 7 to 7, so the residents can go in at any time. There's not a schedule like what my mom had at the other assisted living where she was. And I like that part of it a lot. It's open 12 hours. And you can order whatever you want. Just because it's breakfast, doesn't mean you have to have breakfast. You have lots of options and people just go in and out as they please. It's very elegant looking. The staff who gave the tour was very personable. He was awesome. He was very good. He showed us everything. Even though we said we were only interested in a studio, he gave us the option to look at everything they had, so we could choose from that, and that's what we did. He took us everywhere and explained as we went. It was a very good tour. Regarding food, the day we went there, they had duck and my mom loves duck."

"I felt so comfortable visiting here. I felt like it was home. I took my dog with me because they said they were pet-friendly and I loved the place. Everybody was just in a good mood. They were singing along in the lobby and I saw the way the people were acting towards the residents and they were great. The grounds and everything about it were beautiful. They were nice, easy to access, and clean. It's perfect. It's just not what I want right now. Someday maybe, since I still wanted to do my own stuff."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"She is here, people seemed happy, and there are a lot of activities going on like taking people to doctors' appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, go to a casino once a week, shopping on Thursdays, and shopping at Target. They do exercise classes every day, and sometimes they do cooking classes. They also have entertainment that comes in monthly. They have 1-room apartments, like a bathroom and a room together, and they clean their rooms and do their laundry for them once a week. "

"I would recommend it. I loved it. They take care of people. I liked their staff and everything about it. The staff was attentive and listened to what people say. I also liked that they had transportation. The facility was clean."

"I toured the skilled nursing part of Claremont Manor. My only concern was that the rooms were extremely small. My dad's bathroom was bigger than the entire room. I didn't like the appearance of the place. It wasn't that it was dirty, it was just antiseptic, like a hospital. The staff member who helped me was very accommodating and very nice. They have some activities, but I was turned off. I saw people sitting around in wheelchairs and they just looked like they were lost. However, if you need a skilled nursing place, this one was clean, they looked like they have enough help, and they were very nice."

"My aunt is moving into Woodbridge Terrace Of Irvine. The rooms look like little apartments, they have studios with little kitchenettes. They have a lot of activities. They were polite and informative. It was really clean, new, and kept up. They maintained the facility well and the staff was very nice to me."

"We went to Westmont of Cypress. It was gorgeous. It's a brand-new community. One thing that I would have liked better is even though it was a shared room, it would have more of an individual bedroom, but it was way more expensive. What I didn't like also was the staff didn't seem as engaged. This was in the memory care section, and they didn't have a lot of room for Mom to walk around. She loves to go for walks and there was just a patio, so I didn't think that was appropriate, and there was a waiting list to get into the shared room. The person who took us on the tour was nice, but I was able to witness their activities director and she just seemed bored. They were doing a history lesson where they were talking about this day in history. She didn't seem all that engaging, like when I compared her to the activities director at the other place who's very excited to be with the residents. This person, it just seems like it's a job. She didn't care that much. They said they took them on walks but it's all street parking lot, so I don't know where they take them on walks."
