So far, since she has been there, she has been in the room by herself, but there is a room for one other person. I absolutely recommend this facility. It is a nice community. It is quiet. My sister likes it. "

"It is fantastic. My uncle has been living there for a month or so. They have a nice property, great people working there, and terrific rooms. It’s a small senior living community. The dining area is very nice, and it’s not huge. "

"Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley took a personal approach during our tour. When the gentleman we met with, Patrick, explained to us why he got into this business, it made it very personal. He explained that he works with families and helps them during the transition, making the move very smooth and very easy. The price point is good, too, and the level of service they provide sounds like it's going to be perfect for our needs. We liked that there are different levels of residents in their memory care journey, so my father-in-law would be around people who are at various stages. We also liked the fact that there's independent living and assisted living available on the property, which hopefully mom-in-law will transition in those as well. We did evening hours to tour, because of our work schedules, and Patrick was able to accommodate us. Not only did he provide us with his number there, but he gave us his cell number. I went to leave a message on his cell and he answered it. He was just overly helpful, considering that this is new to us and we've never been in this situation before. The only thing was it's an older building. It's a hundred years old, so they've done a lot of renovations and it's not brand new like some of the other places I've been."

"My father is at Blue Bell Place. Everything is good there. Everything is beautiful. It looks like it is new and is decorated beautifully. My father has a really nice suite with a kitchenette. He has plenty of space. The care has been good. He has medication management and a certain level of care. He seems well taken care of. They do his laundry. I actually went to a number of other places, but I like this best, and the price was the best. They have a bus, and they go to the grocery store and to Dollar Tree. They also take them out to different restaurants or shows, to wineries, and out to see the holiday lights. They have games, black jack, poker, and different entertainment that come in. Many activities are more for women, so my father only gets involved with so much. "

"Pinnacle at Plymouth was brand-new, and it was beautiful. It was like being at a hotel in Atlantic City. It was very busy. It's a place for socially active people. They had a cooking class going on while we were there. They had a separate movie theater. They had a couple of restaurants, and their dining room was beautiful. They had the most beautiful dining room we saw. They also had pubs, where you could go out for cocktails without ever leaving the building. It had everything a socially active person could want. It was a busy place, so it was not for my sister. It would not have been for me either because they were right on the road and the highway, which really shouldn't make any difference. You have those cars zipping by all the time. They had a garden area. It's an outside area on the roof or like a rooftop area where people could do their own gardening if they wanted to. I will say that it was beautiful, and it was perfect for somebody (but it wasn't for us). The staff was good. She was very pleasant, but she seemed like she was in a hurry."

"The Philadelphia Protestant Home is clean. They have good dining facilities and a lot of activities. My experience with the staff has been pretty good. Everything went well. Mom likes the food. I haven't tried it myself, but it looks pretty good. They have a bowling alley, a pool, an ice cream shop, and a hairdresser shop. Value for money is average. It's up there with everybody else."

"My mother is a resident of the Reflections (memory care) unit at Brandywine Suites. The careworkers and nurses in Reflections are very hard working, caring people. My mother has been there for several years and whenever I have had an issue or question, it has been addressed to my satisfaction. In this very stressful world, knowing my mother is well taken care of is not something I need to worry about. "

"Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park had a very nice room layout. They were roomy and we kind of liked where the kitchen was in relation to the rest of it. It seemed to be very good. The two people that showed us around gave us a very nice tour. They spent a lot of time with us. It was very clean and nicely decorated."

"The food at Oakwood Residence is standard for an assisted living place. It is like catering-style food. I like the size of his room and of the bathroom, and it is very clean. I like the size of it because it is best for my dad; it is just a great fit for him. The hallways are very wide. They will have no problems getting into their rooms. They may have a little trouble getting into the bathroom because if they needed assistance, the person who’s assisting them would have to be already in the bathroom because the wheelchair would be blocking the doorway too much to allow another person to get in there. I feel that if the wheelchair was just outside the door, it would be better. But they try to put the wheelchair all the way into the bathroom where you wouldn’t be able to fit all the way in there. They have a calendar, and they have several activities throughout the day, so I feel like they try to keep them active. You are not being billed separately like a lacarte. It is not based on their level of care, which I like. I am very happy. "

"The staff is generally friendly and very accommodating. Our situation was unique because our parents both need assistance, but at different levels. The staff has gone out of their way to accommodate dads “need” to be with mom, even though she actually needs more physical care than he does. The Admissions Director and the Director of Nursing deserve the credit for making this possible. Hopefully mom will get well enough to join dad in assisted living and they will both be happy in their new home."

"The Solana Doylestown appeared to be extremely well managed. It's a beautiful facility. They had everything that we needed and the person that was doing the interview was amazing, very customer-oriented, and she fit the bill. I saw both assisted living and memory care. The staff was very knowledgeable and very compassionate. They were perfect in their job. They have a chef that makes food for the people, and they can order whatever they want. It's very beautiful including the grounds. It's really easy access to get in and out of. They're on the main road, but they're far enough back that I'm sure there's no noise or anything. The location is perfect from where my family lives."

"I toured this facility to see if it would be a good place for a family member. New Seasons has a clean and attractive building. The resident's rooms are laid out nicely, and the dining room is beautiful. I observed that the residents seemed to feel settled and happy there. There were good interactions going on among residents, and the staff knew the residents by name and seemed to be kind and accommodating to them. Our family is seriously considering New Seasons at New Britain for our loved one. "

"Brookdale Northampton has a lot of employees. They are very caring people and there's tons of activity for the residents to do (a whole calendar full every month). My mom intermingles with the other people and she has a special friend that she has her meals with and she's very satisfied. She has a sink, a little refrigerator, cabinets, a bed, a rocking chair, two other chairs, a full bureau, and a TV in her room. The staff is just excellent. Their facility is exceptionally clean and very well taken care of."
