"My sister stayed at Brandywine Living at Senior Suites for respite care for two weeks. It was very nice. The personnel were very nice, too. The place was clean. The common spaces were very nice. They have a lot of activities going on all during the day. They were all different ones that you can go to or not."

"Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley has got nice views and nice rooms. My aunt has a one-bedroom apartment and we're able to transfer most of her things from her condominium into the apartment. So, she has the look and feels of a home. From the administrative staff down to the escorting staff to the cleaning staff and the cafeteria people, they are all very supportive. I observed that their interaction with their residents is very comforting and the place is very clean. It's a very active community. I had an opportunity to speak with some of the residents in a brief conversation, and people seemed to be very upbeat and liked where they were. Their activities include taking residents out to the market weekly or to the theater and having various types of functions on-premise. They have a pavilion with a barbecue pit and a beautiful garden where they have horticulturists there who teach classes. They also have cooking classes. They give them a calendar that is filled with exciting activities. They have a nice restaurant that serves restaurant-quality food, too. The facility was built over a coal quarry and the lady who started the facility spared no expense to have things like albums dating back when the first recording/music was made. It's just a lot there, so my aunt won't get bored. If something breaks, they fix it/repair it. If something is worn, they replace it. They have a good standard of maintenance of the facility."

"I liked the location of Sunrise, and I also liked the setup of the rooms. It was very clean, and I thought the staff was very friendly. I even heard the other family member’s comments on the quality of the staff. "

"Symphony Square had very limited outdoor space, and the place was not that attractive. It was something about the building itself, that's why I was not impressed. It was located in a residential area just off the main road. There were no outside spaces for the residents to go out to except the small paved area next to the road. The rest of the building seemed all right. Some residents were out of their rooms but they didn't seem to be engaging with each other or with anything."

"My mother-in-law moved into Sunrise of Dresher. We chose it because of convenience and reputation, and we were familiar with other people who had stayed there who spoke highly of it. They were very attentive throughout the entire process. Even during the Covid protocols, they made sure that she was never alone, always made sure that she had people helping her, and that there were people around her when we were not able to come and visit her. They accommodated our process with moving her in. We were able to set up her room while she was in the Covid room. They are very accommodating, and very nice people. She rants and raves about how delicious the food is, and she says the food is very good. She really enjoys her meals. What really stood out was the concierge service that they provide. There's always somebody there at the front desk at the ready. As soon as she walked into the facility, they put a call button around her neck. They told her if she ever needs anything or if she can't find somebody, to hit the button. Somebody will come and assist her. She always has that. They took her picture, and they sent us a weblink so that we can get updates on her without actually even making a phone call. We could just log in, and they're available for updates. We could also see how she's doing. It is just really a very good experience so far. The place is clean, convenient, nice, and beautiful. They provide her with a list of activities every week that she can participate in. And as far as my mother-in-law is concerned, they're fine. We've only been there a month, but she has no complaints. I'm happy that she's happy. They provided us with financial incentives to move her in there. They made some accommodations with regards to her room cost. The rest of the places we checked were pretty on par, but Sunrise is a notch above."

"I toured Blue Bell Place. They're an excellent place, I liked the ambiance and everything, but it has two or three floors, and the elevator would be an issue. I went to their memory care as well. I saw the lady who gave me the tour, but I also saw enough staff working around there. I saw several people in memory care and several people in personal care. The staffers were friendly and long-term, there's a nurse's aide who's been there 17 years."

"My Grandfather lives in the Quadrangle. I typically visit him once a week and spend about 2-3 hours there, so I have a good feel for the place. The rooms are average size and very comparable to a college dorm room. There are personal bathrooms in each room, which is certainly a plus. All furniture is ours so nothing is provided by the Quadrangle. The campus is large and houses several different units. The on my grandfather is in, as a dining room, community tv room, and a library. The dining room is nice with round tables that fit 10 people per table. The food in my opinion is not the greatest, but it may be because alot of the food is watered down or made softer for the older population residing there. The library is small but is suitable. The staff that I have seen have always been very nice and polite. They are very attentive and seem very sincere about helping older folks. Overall I am very impressed and happy with the care and quality of the Quadrangle. "

"I visited Philadelphia Protestant Home because they had a life alert for the residents. It was awesome. We were there for just a short period of time, and I just spoke to one gentleman, but it was really like a hotel. I was very impressed with it. They had a bowling alley in there. They had a swimming pool. They had everything. It was very beautiful. They were excellent. They were like family. I was really very impressed with how caring and informative they were. Everybody was nice all the way down to the security guards. They were very helpful. I was also impressed that they served meals there for a cost, and their meals were made every day which was really nice. "

"My mom is in here since September and it's been great! For my mom's level, it is a perfect place for her. It is not overwhelming not like those huge complexes. The staff is very caring and nice. They know everybody by name and they are very attentive. Her apartment is very nice. She has a living area, a bedroom, a nice size bathroom and she's very comfortable there. It is really cozy and she really likes it a lot. She said the food is good. There is a lot for her to do. She likes doing crafts like making jewelry, she does painting, she plays bingo, bowling and participates in music. Singers like Frank Sinatra come in. She is socializing more and they do a good job in trying to involve the family too. They have brunches for the family to come out and visit. My mom has also been in a couple of dinners where they take them out to dinners. Overall, we are very happy with them."

"I toured St. Mary Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare for Independent & Retirement Living. I like the fact that there's a Catholic church. There's a chapel there so she can go to mass every morning. There were so many things I liked about it. She has a private room, her own bathroom, and a patio outside. The residents that are there all look clean and happy. There's no odor when you walk in. The food isn't bad and my mother likes vegetables. The room is gigantic, it's nice. Everybody is likable. All the employees are extremely friendly. I have no problem with the employees. I have no problem with the place."

"Daylesford Crossing seemed new and clean. The rooms were nice. They had an activity room and a library. The dining area was very nice and looked like a restaurant. I did not have a meal, but they showed us the menu, and there was a lot of variety. The staff was very nice."
