"The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way for the residents. My dad was there for 8 years and they treated him like family. Some even called him "Uncle"! Really a great place."

"Juniper Village is a beautiful place. It has a gym and has everything we need. The only thing I did not like about it was that there was no parking. My husband is in a wheelchair, and I had to park in like a strip mall that's in front of their building and push him to the building because there is no parking at all. It's very tight on the parking, and that's the only downside. They had all the amenities we needed. Their meals are like a restaurant. You can pick off a menu. It's like a big dining room. It's like going to a diner, and you order from a menu, and somebody comes to you. It's not a bunch of squares with two choices. We were there later in the afternoon. I think they're open from 11:00 to 2:00 for lunch, and I think they open again from 4:00 to 7:00 for dinner. They said that I could eat there with him, say if I wanted to come for lunch, which would be added to our bill at the end of the month. For him, it included three meals a day and snacks, but if he had guests come in they could still eat and sit at the table, order, and it would just be added to our bill. So, that's convenient. It is three stories high. It was very clean. All the staff that we passed in the hallways were very friendly."

"Juniper Village at Williamstown was excellent. It is a beautiful place, and it is like being at home. The rooms had a sink, a walk-in shower, and a sitting area. I just could not afford it. If I needed extra help, they would do what they could to help me. The staff gave me a quick tour and sat down with me to explain everything. They gave me a Covid test before I came in. Everything was excellent. It was very nice and very clean."

"The rooms at Brookdale Echelon Lake seemed a little dark for me, but they were nice. The staff seemed nice as well. I was not that thrilled with it, but it was still a nice small facility. They had a small dining area which was like a cafeteria, and it was nice. "

"My mother is at Spring Oak. It’s a nice place, and it's spotless clean. They have plenty of activities for their residents. They have bingo, parties, and a book club. They have caring nurses, and they are very patient with my mother. They check on her hourly at night and make sure she is not getting up. "

"Overall, Spring Hills Cherry Hill was a great place. It used to be a hotel, which you could tell by the way they arranged it. They remodeled it nicely. It had a big lobby, and everything was done well. It had a good atmosphere and a nice fireplace. The staff was good and very friendly. There were people eating who looked like they were enjoying it. The rooms were nice and big, just like a hotel room. The activities were very nice. They had a movie theater and a library. You name it, they got it."

"We had an in-person tour of Brookdale Evesham. It was a wonderful experience. My mother was very pleased. The facility was clean, well laid out, and well decorated. It was just a nice facility. The staff members were very kind, considerate, friendly, and positive. I was very pleased with our conversations. They were all very well-spoken, and they listened well. We got a chance to go into the dining area, and we talked to a few people. They were very positive with their descriptions of their meals and their care. The dining area was very open and accessible for anyone with a walker or wheelchair. It just seemed very roomy. They have an elevator system to move up and down the floors. They have very wide hallways, so people can traverse in and out easily. There was a library and plenty of things and areas for people to play cards and games."

"I liked everything about Fountain View at Logan Square. The location was fantastic. They have a parking garage. The rooms were a nice size. They had a washer and dryer in the room. The rent was a little expensive, but the facilities were nice and clean. The person who took us around was wonderful. He knew his business. A couple of the other people we met were very good. I liked Fountain View. The food looked very appetizing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and they seemed to know the people that they passed in the hallway. They were friendly, and they knew about other facilities. They tell you, "You should try this one," or "Did you go there?" The atmosphere was very nice. Some of the residents I saw knew each other."

"We visited Chestnut Ridge. We liked the place and the rapport of the place very much. The staff was very nice, very informative, and very cordial. They had a number of things going on when we were there. They also had a Christmas party going on. The person that showed us the place was very knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions, and I did get answers. They didn't hide anything. I checked them out, and what they told me was factual. "

"Brittany Manor didn't provide respite care services. Going in there, it was more for people who are mentally challenged. Before I went in, there was a resident already asking me for money while I was sitting in my car, and then when I went in, there was another resident who was asking me for money, and food, and whatever I had in my hand. The person who walked me around was a five. My experience trying to confirm that I had a tour was a one or a zero. I called to confirm, and no one seemed to be able to confirm with me that they were aware that I was coming. They said they would get back to me, and no one ever got back to me, so I just wound up showing up, and the person who gave me the tour was very friendly. However, she wasn't necessarily prepared to provide a tour. The place was very disheveled. Whoever owned the place before, that signage was still up there. The facility smelled as soon as I got in the door. The staff pretty much mentioned this is for people who have mental disabilities. The room I saw wasn't dirty. It's just that everything looked old. Everything didn't look like it was maintained properly. That's not a place I would recommend for anybody. It didn't seem like the patients were even well taken care of. The people that I talked to on the phone were not professional in my book, and telling me that you're going to get back to me, and then you still don't get back, that was very concerning."

"Springfield Crossings was new and updated, and they had a lot of amenities. The person who gave me the tour was nice. They seemed really caring and very interested in making the seniors active. They had a gym, a salon, a courtyard, a dining room like a cafe, and a garden."

"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH HERE AT CAMBRIDGE. SUCH A SWEET AFFAIR. EVERYONE HERE IS SO CARING. YOU CAN SEE IT IN THE WAY INTERACT WITH THE REDIDENTS. I SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATE EVERYTHING THEY DO FOR MY MOM!"

"Rose Tree Place is very nice. We like it there too. This facility was actually our second pick, but they had a couple more reviews that we didn't like. The staff was very nice. The rooms/apartments were very nice. It looked like they're living in a country club. They have like foyers, hallways, sitting areas, and outside areas also. The dining room was beautiful too. It was like a hotel fancy dining room. They have the same type of activities, e.g., bingo, arts and crafts, and sing-a-longs. As for amenities, they have laundry and hairdressing. Security and safety management was pretty good. What impresses me about this place are the people that work here and the appearance and overall cleanliness. "

"My dad is at Riverview Estates. It's nonprofit; it's not a big corporation. It's more like a family. It's close to home, so on my way home from work, I can stop, I can see him, and hang out for a half hour and not have to spend half my day traveling to bring him here and bring him back. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The place is an old Victorian that's been kept up, and it's right on the river. They can sit on the porch in the summertime and look at the river and see the sailboats go by. They have trips to ShopRite and Target. They've got more activities than I can count. They get a list of stuff for every day. They have people that come in and they have entertainment."
