My dad was a resident of Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The staff cares about their work and they go out of their way for people too. My dad said the food was good. They have a lot of activities going on during the month. They have a courtyard, a bistro, and a refrigerator in their room. In terms of cost, they are expensive. They don't have any programs to help somebody who can't afford what they're asking for a month. There are no programs out there for the elderly.

I went to look at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The staff who gave me the tour were very nice, and accommodating, they were very flexible and available, they answered questions, and they showed us around. The rooms were smallish but they were fine and seemed adequate. They're nothing special but they're fine. The actual physical layout of the place was nice because it's kind of open, so wherever you are in the building, you could kinda see all around. So I like that part of the building. We saw that they had activities like a music class. The dining area seemed nice, and there was a a living room lounge.

We did a tour of Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The community was beautiful. The atmosphere, when you walk up, there were chairs outside. They were not metal, the materials were different, they were chairs you wouldnt mind sitting in, and they're comfortable. The staff, their personality was very great. They treat you with respect. They gave us warm hospitality. We toured the place, and they showed us around. They showed us the menus, and told us all about the place, and what kind of food you would eat. They were very great; they were one of my choices for my sister to go to. The room's nice. They told me that they would have it ready. We were getting a two-room apartment. The way it was set up, you have a kitchenette, dining area, living room, and bedroom. They had an exercise room. The staff didn't keep you waiting; they were waiting when we got there. The floors, the walls, and everything didn't have a smell or anything, that was my major concern, and there's none of that.

The interior of Sunrise of Lafayette Hill was nice, it was a nice facility. The people were very helpful. The rooms were spacious. They had a variety of studios or one-bedroom, I did look at those. Upkeep looked good. It was a little bit older facility than some of them, but it looked like it was well-maintained. I saw the dining area and it looked like an appropriate dining area; it was nothing fancy. I am looking for a place with more scenic views for my mother. So, while the facility was nice, other facilities were more scenic. Part of that is where it's located, so it just wasn't as scenic as other places I've looked. Everybody seemed very nice, even the residents seem very nice. The staff did an excellent job. They had a salon and a place for doctor's visits and all that stuff.

I toured Sunrise of Lafayette Hill for my father, and it was beautiful. I told them that if it ever happens that I needed a facility, I wouldn't mind staying there myself. It was gorgeous. What happened was that I was going to go to the one in Abington, but they said that the one on Ridge Pike in Lafayette Hills was a little bit cheaper. It was a little bit cheaper, but not that much. They were very nice and very accommodating. It was a clean and nice facility. If we can gather our money together, our finances together, that would be one of our choices. The room was spacious, clean, and nice. When they look out the window, it was pleasant scenery to look at. It looked like a little hotel, except, it was private. If you wanted to be in a room, even if you were in a shared suite, you still had your own room. It was clean, and that was the biggest thing. They had activities for the patients, too. And then I like the fact that they had them on a secure floor because my dad has dementia, so that's important. The patients couldn't just roam around and go up and down the elevators, and that was important for me to know as well. They try to keep their patients engaged in activities and still try to give them privacy and dignity. They have arts and crafts, and games for those that could go out. They could also go out to go to the store and to go shopping if they wanted to. They also had days when the weather gets better, they're going to go out and do some gardening. My dad used to have a garden. They had a place where they could maybe do some planting and things of that sort. The people were personable, and they answered my questions. Overall, I thought it was a good experience. If I can arrange to have my dad there, that would be my number one choice. The layout was fine, and I didn't see anything negative to report about it. It has a homey, warm atmosphere. It wasn't like a hospital-type facility, it was like a home, not a house, but a home. One thing I was looking for is cleanliness and I didn't see anything dirty or smelly because some of those facilities can have that. I had asked about pricing and there weren't any pricing advantages that they could give me. That's the only downside about that. But it's not their fault. They were accommodating, and they answered my questions, the ones that I did have. The way they keep their clients and their patients, were clean. That's important to me, how they care for their patients. They didn't look like they were in distress or dirty or anything like that. I want to make sure that the patients look like they're cared for, not just sitting around a table, drooling and clothes all stained up.

I did a tour of Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The staff and the people were very helpful, caring, and insightful. It looks very nice and perfectly suitable. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The staffing was excellent, which is what I was more concerned about. My focus was the staff, and they're impressive. They were incredibly impressive. The residents there seem to really be comfortable and enjoying their experience there. It is a good environment. There was a beauty salon, and they had all the appropriate amenities there.
