"I had a pretty good tour at Holland Village. It had a nice atmosphere; it was not sterile. The people were very friendly. It was very clean and nice. I liked it. The staff that I met was good. They had various clubs. They had a gym and a swimming pool."

"I went to Juniper Village at Bucks County and I was greeted properly. They've got very nice people. The place was clean. They showed us several apartments, several of the crafts that they were doing, the restaurant, and the menu. Everything was great. They have studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. The staff during the tour was very nice. They have a church on the premises. The buy-in was cheap. We tried to set up several luncheons, but we weren't able to do that."

"My mom moved to Brookdale Northampton, and their staff has been there a long time. I think the woman at the desk has been there for 19 years. I think the maintenance guy has been there for like 20 years. It seems like people stay there because the workers seem to like it. It's clean. They're very friendly. It's very nice as far as their dining room. The rooms and the building are nice. You don't feel like you're walking into a nursing home. You feel like you're walking into a home, and everyone's very nice and the residents seem very nice as well. The staff is very nice, but sometimes they're not around and they have a lot to handle. My mom loves the food. She's only been there two weeks, so we haven't experienced everything yet, but they have a lot of things for them to do. I've started to go to a lot of different places and some are more expensive and maybe a little nicer, but too big. And then some are just the same price and not as nice, so I think we did well with this one."

"I liked that The Terraces at Lawrence is close to me because I'm the one who would be visiting my sister there. We spoke to some people and they were very friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to try to accommodate my interest and question. Linda gave me the tour and she was great. The rooms were fine and the dining area was attractive. I especially liked the chapel that was there. I didn't see many people, but it seemed pleasantly friendly. They have games and outings to go places and movies."

"Brookdale Hamilton is strictly memory care. It's an excellent facility. The only reason my brother did not go there is that an opening came up over at another place that's closer to me, but I would rate them five-star for everything. A lady gave me a tour of the whole complex. It's updated and it's a beautiful place. They have an outdoor facility where they've got drums and things where people could play instruments. It was nice. The place was spotless."

"My aunt is in memory care at CareOne Assisted Living at Hamilton. The staff is knowledgeable, very attentive to the residents, very helpful, and caring. The experience is very good. She likes the food. She attended some bingo sessions, but that's all she mentioned to me."

"The Province of Southampton was a very nice facility. It was immaculate. The only thing I did not like about it was that they have what they call a Jack and Jill apartment. In other words, there's a separate bedroom on each side, but they share a common bathroom. It was well-staffed. The Province of Southampton has memory care and assisted living, but I would rather have just memory care because my thoughts are, say, the memory care might be short of staff. They take people from assisted living and put them in memory care, and they're not trained. So that's another reason I'd rather have memory care. The person who took me around was very nice and well-informed. She was very good. They serve three meals a day. They have courtyards and walking lanes where they can walk outside."

"We toured Juniper Village at Hamilton. It's such a nice community when you go in. The atrium was beautiful and wide open. The cafeteria looked so nice. My friend was impressed with its size. She loved to walk the hallways. The surrounding area was very nice for walking, and she has a dog. Inside, there was so much room for her to walk and get into the activity. Plus, she was very impressed with the activity schedule. There was so much to do every day to keep you busy if you wanted to be active. There's a movie theater, which she loves, a library, and a gym. They offered everything that she was interested in. We were both very impressed by it. We checked their dining area and menu. We discussed it, and they offered specials every day. Plus, they have other foods, so if you opt not to choose from the specials, you have other options every day, which is wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. As we were walking through, all the staff acknowledged us. It seemed like a very pleasant community. Even the residents seemed very happy. The ones we saw smiled and said hello."

"We visited the Masonic Village at Burlington's independent living for my friend. The person who took us on the tour was very pleasant. The apartment was gorgeous, and the grounds were just beautiful. We didn't eat there, but we did see the dining room, and it looked nice. It looked like a restaurant with linens. Their lunch area was sort of like a deli where you order what you want, and the food looked delicious. The size of the rooms was huge. They were very big and beautiful. I liked it, and I was impressed."

"I'm moving into Crescent Fields at Huntingdon Valley. I love it, and it's the most reasonable one out of all of them. You only pay $3,000 to put a down payment, and then you pay $6,000 a month for a two-bedroom. They only had two-bedrooms left, and I got one. It's a nice size, and it's beautiful. Everything is really nice, so I'm very happy. Everything is included. They have three meals a day, they have entertainment, they have a movie theater, they have a private dining room, and they do trips. I had lunch there. I can't say it was the best, but it's OK. Nevertheless, they were very courteous and very caring to all their people. I don't really know any of the staff members other than the salespeople and the girls at the front desk, but the kitchen people were very, very sweet. They're very pleasant, very cheerful, very nice, and willing to help you. Everything was immaculate, too."

"One of the things that I liked the best was that it was a lovely, brand-new facility. It's only been there for two years, so everything was bright and shiny. They have huge windows and lots of light. The staff was lovely. They make you feel comfortable and special. Another thing I liked about them was that I could buy in, and then it's a pay for services. My wish is that I can stay in my house as long as possible, and then when I need assisted living, I would move into an assisted living facility in that same place. If they have apartments available, you can just move in. They showed me a terrific assisted living room. It was a one-bedroom apartment with a little kitchen. It had a refrigerator and a microwave, which is all I would need. You have three meals included in your plan. They had a separate bedroom, a lovely bathroom, and then a little sitting area that was separate from the bedroom. When my original salesperson ran out of time, her colleague was available to finish the tour. He answered any question I could think of."

"This facility is the cleanest that I have ever visited. The staff is friendly and are very attentive to the residents. Lee is the greatest. He is always willing to help the families of the residents with any questions or concerns. I have called him so many times and he has always returned the calls even after hours. I have seen him around the residents and he is a very caring individual. Ardent - Warminster should be very proud to have him at their facility. Families can be confident that their loved ones are being care for and respected."

"If I had to choose, I'd choose Brookdale Westampton because they were so professional. Those ladies were awesome. They make me want to live there. They were very good, very professional, and caring. Until today, they still send me articles and well-wishes. They're very nice. I like everything. Everyone was caring. The facility was nice and clean. The workers were very friendly. I had the full staff at my disposal when I went there. I had the full audience of all the advisers, the director, and everyone. They each showed that they cared and everyone that was in charge was there. I haven't tried the food, but I know they have a chef that comes in. I know that they have doctors and barbers that come in there. I have no issues with Brookdale. It was very warm. The people were all nice and friendly."

"I toured Commonwealth Senior Living at Willow Grove. It looked like a nice area. The cost is too high for me to get my father in there. They were very nice, and I liked it. It looked very clean. If I had the money, he would have been there. I was really impressed by how it looked, and it seemed like they cared for the elderly who were there. The staff who gave the tour were very nice, very attentive, working with me, and knowledgeable."
