We put my dad in the Masonic Village at Burlington for rehab. After his rehab is done, he will move to their assisted living, which is right next door. My dad has had no problem at all currently. The staff always came in and helped him with everything he needed. They were always very concerned about him, especially because at first he was very anxious. They made sure someone was there in case he needed something. Their staff is all very polite although sometimes it takes them a little bit of time to get things because they don't have a whole bunch of people. They're staffed well but it seems like each person has 6 or 7 patients. I'm talking about the aides who go and get you whatever you need. I think they could use a few more aides, but I think the ones they have do a wonderful job taking care of all the people there. It's a very nice facility inside. There are a couple of things that probably could have been updated like how they get their patients to the cafe instead of eating in the room. They do suggest to the patients that they should do that but if the staff had come and said, "We think you should go" and take the patient to the dining room, I think the patient would have gone.

My mom moved to Masonic Village at Burlington for rehab. They're very attentive. They're very thorough. It's like everybody cares there for everybody. The staff was very good. I didn't try the food, but it looked good. My mom says she loves the food there. Since she's going through physical therapy, she hasn't been able to get into the activities, but we've looked into some of them. They have a weight room and another area where they do bingo and all kinds of stuff. For the value of the money, it's all expensive.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of fresh bedding and temperature controlled in each room. Meals were delicious and many selections on the menu. Staff very courteous and helpful. Always answered the call light promptly and checked frequently to see if assistance was needed

The room was very spacious. I even had a dining area What I found exceptional was the nurses and nurses aides. I have been to many hospitals and facilities due to many medical issues Every single day they had a cheerful and caring disposition when they came in my room. I was always treated with respect and kindness. I genuinely felt that they cared about me. The care I received was exceptional

We toured Masonic Village at Burlington. We saw the main building. We did not look at the individual cottages. It was lovely. We were interested in it, but it's a little bit too far for us from Trenton. The staff during the tour was very nice. We looked at the menu, but we didn't taste anything. There were a lot of people around doing things. We were impressed, but the distance was a little too far.

I took a tour of Masonic Village at Burlington. It was very well put together and it looked very homely. The rooms are well decorated, so it's not as lonely because they're not home. The person who assisted me there was very helpful and informative. She took me around the whole place even though we were only looking at assisted living, and she let me know a lot of good information. I saw the dining area. I didn't see the food, but I know they do three meals a day, which is nice. I saw some people walking around outside like they were taking a walk. I saw two ladies coming back from their cars with food. So, there are places around there for people who are still active to go get food. I didn't see many activities. A lot of people were in their rooms watching TV, so I guess it wasn't like activity time. The facilities were very clean.

Masonic Village at Burlington was beautiful. The facilities were like a hotel, it looked like a resort, and it had beautiful grounds. The rooms were wonderful, the people looked like they were having a good time there and they had lots of activities. I would recommend that place if they were looking for an assisted living type of facility. The place looked wonderful and the staff was very nice.

This facility is not worth the price Mom was paying and the lack of care and compassion received was a head shaker for sure. There are no excuses for such poor care for your dying family member. From minimal simple requests such as helping to keep a cell phone active or using a sponge every hour to keep Mom's lips and mouth moist, seemed to be too much to ask. The staff rarely answered the phone and if they did, they were too busy. The majority of the staff needs compassion care training because it is for sure lacking. Communication was poor. Do your homework before you ever are in such a situation and make sure once you make a facility choice, you stay on top of them along with the hospice unit so that your loved one is getting the care that he or she pays for and deserves! Very sad experience...no excuses, period. If the staff has an attitude about the position they hold, don't take it out on the residents or family members. You chose your career.

Masonic Home of New Jersey is very clean, spacious, well-lit, and doesn't have any smells to it. My mother said the food was good. When she pressed the bell, the staff is pretty prompt in getting there. They have Bingo, music, woodworking, and singing. They don't force residents to participate but they encourage them. They got 400 something acres there and you can go outside.

Masonic Village at Burlington (formerly Masonic Home of New Jersey) had cottages and you had to pay a big entrance fee to get in. In the apartments, you pay monthly and your food is included if you want to eat in the dining room. The food was good. The cottages were one story, while the apartments were multilevel and had elevators. The person who showed me around was good and showed us everything. They had an exercise room, arts and crafts room, a cafe, and a dining room. Parking didn't seem that great. It's not that far from restaurants and shopping. It's just not that appealing to me. It's not as pretty and not as nice as the newer places.

I visited Masonic Home of New Jersey, but I didn't get to look into their various apartments. They were being repaired for some reason. I heard about it from some of the people from my church who are there now. They showed us around and they have a place for exercising and entertainment. We had a luncheon there, which was very nice. The food was good. We also had snacks before we even had the luncheon. The atmosphere was fine. I know the area really well and it's a nice area.

My father was a resident at the Masonic Home before he passed in 2004 and my mom a resident before she passed in 2016. This most likely is the nicest place you can find for your loved one.. The furnishings are beautiful, Both of my parents had their own room. Several choices of things to eat for each meal. Church service on Sunday morning and a choir which you can join. There is bingo every week, trips to do your shopping and trips to eat out via Masonic Home bus. Great nursing and clerical staff as well as physician staff. See the place for yourself. I am sure you will agree that this is probably the nicest place in New Jersey for your loved one,.

Masonic Village was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The residents were very nice and interacted with each other very nicely. It was a very nice place. The apartments that we looked at had a little lobby, kitchen with appliances, a sitting area, and a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. The grounds were very nice and well kept. They had green houses, a lot of nice activities, certain activities outside of the facility and transportation to and from doctors' appointments and shopping.

Masonic Home was excellent in everything. They catered to everything and had spaces for people. It was really good. I was impressed. They would take residents out to places. You could eat in or if you were able to walk, you could walk into the cafeteria where you could order, and they would bring the food to you. Overall, it was really pleasant.

I found a facility called Masonic Home of New Jersey. I am on their waiting list. I chose this facility because it was recommended to me and because I have an aunt who worked there once. Also, it was close to my hometown. When I checked it out, it was just absolutely and positively the best place I have ever seen. It was just fantastic. They have somebody there who would escort you around. They would tell you all about it and show you everything that it has to offer. The dining area was just fantastic. It was like going into an exclusive restaurant. They have activities according to what your capabilities are. You have free run of the whole place, and they have all kinds of activities listed every day. They would take bus trips, go out to dinner, go to the mall, and take people here and there, whoever is capable of going.

over all a good facility but new food service is poor and no snack are available in the dining area as there was in the past coffee and tea are only available during meals. Often the medical units are short. Staffed at times 43 patients to 1 nurse and 3 cnas for 43 patients. There are residents that never get out if bed at their choosing and no encouragement is given to get up. Alot of new and unexperienced nurses on staff.

The staff at the facility seems to be very warm-hearted. They were all very kind to me and my grandmother. The facility seemed to be very clean. It seemed like all the residents were very happy. This was not dark and gloomy like all televisions shows represent assisted living communities to be. It was actually quit a nice place. I would not mind staying at this facility when I get older. My grandmother told me she liked it but it was not the same as living at home. She only stayed there for a few months, and then came to live with my family. This was because she missed being around her own family. She still likes to keep in contact with a few of her favorite employees at the Masonic Home. I find it amazing that not only did she like the facility, but she made some friends when she was there. The only problem my Grandma had with the facility was with some of the other residents, whom she did not like.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I purchased my grandfather's house from him, the staff helped to set up meetings with banks and such so that he wouldn't have to travel outside of the building. Whenever I have been present they have been accommodating in terms of rescheduling their rounds to allow us time to visit. The one thing I wish they would do is upgrade their facilities. It is hard for me to tell as just a visitor, but the building seems to be in need of some modern technological upgrades. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home in the area.

The entire area was very clean, the staff very helpful, and the residents themselves are pleasant. I have heard many horror stories about the horrible other nursing homes, but this nursing home has a reputation for being one of the best in New Jersey, and it surely did not disappoint. I always enjoy going here and helping out in my spare time. There is small chapel, and other activities for those who stay and I have several friend's relatives who go here and they absolutely love it here. The staff helped me out getting started, and were never impatient with any questions that I had.

The Masonic Home was clean, decorated very nicely, the staff was friendly and very informative. They have assisted living, alzheimers unit, medical unit and is a regular nursing home. I went there with my sister who has early onset alzheimers & we were both very pleased and will definetely consider having my sister go there when the time comes.

Masonic Home of New Jersey was a beautiful facility. The staff on the 3rd floor where we had clinical were very accommodating to both us and the patients. They never complained when an older patient needed changing or help being fed. The decor was beautiful as well. They had many amenities. There was an ice cream parlor downstairs that we would take some of the older patients to. A lot of them didn't even know it was there! The floor we were on had a beauty parlor and meditation/relaxation room. The nurses took amazing care of the patients and helped us learn in the process. Shana-Lee was usually in charge for the night and she did a great job. Patients were turned on schedule as appropriate for them. This is very important care for an older adult to prevent pressure ulcers and seeing that they followed through properly is a very good thing. I can't think of a negative thing to say about the place.

This facility was nice, it was clean and the staff seemed very nice. I was very comfortable with leaving my family member there, and she loves it. I was not sure how I would feel about it, but I have only heard good things about this place, and now I can confirm that. The staff is always there for her when she needs them and they never make her seem as if she is a bother. I know that she is very needy, and they fulfill her every need no matter how much she asks for. The food is not the best, but I understand that it is not a 5 star restaurant and the food is not always going to taste the best in the world. Overall it is a very good place, and I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the Burlington area, it may even be worth traveling for.

This place was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about it. When I broke both legs it was terrible. I was laid up and my wife would have had to take care of myself and our kids. It was my idea to go into the Masonic home simply to ease the burden on my wife and so my kids wouldn't have to see me like this. It was a rather good idea; we told them it was an extended stay in a posh hospital. I had my own private room which was decorated. You would have thought I was staying somewhere other than a nursing home. The rooms, especially my room had a flat screen television not to mention my own private phone and internet services. With three meals a day and excellent nursing staff I went without wanting for anything. They even permitted my wife and kids to stay longer past the visiting hours on the weekends. I loved it!

This facility is a nice clean one. The landscaping is beautiful for an area of its size. My parents got to be the age where they would require an extended stay in a nursing home. They wanted to look for places after my father had an accident and was laying down for several hours before he was found and helped. It was one of the most shocking days of my life. i knew then and there that i had to find an acceptable place for them to move as i could not live with them, and they agreed. We went to one other place before i found this one. they immediantly fell in love with it, its affordable, the st5aff are friendly, its clean, its reall the best we can ask for. i am only rating this 4 stars because some days they say that they dislike the food provided, but those days are usuially few and far between.

I visited my maternal grandmother at this particular facility for a total of 2 years. I wanted to make sure that my grandmother was residing in a safe and comfortable environment. From what I witnessed and was told by my grandmother, the assisted-living-facility was a great place to be in. The staff members were more than cordial towards the patient's. My grandmother stated on numerous occasions that she was completely happy and extremely satisfied with the treatment and care she was receiving at the facility. I continued to visit my grandmother until she expired and even then I received a great amount of warmth from the employees of Masonic Home. I will never forget their kindness and compassion that they demonstrated towards my grandmother, me and the other patients that resided in the facility.

The Masonic Home of New Jersey is an amazing assisted living facility. My grandmother has been there for the past year and a half and she surprisingly loves it. The staff there are probably some of the absolute most friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. There is a great balance of male and female staff which is great for my grandmother as she enjoys constantly interacting with both. The staff is always very professional, courteous and willing to help out. During most of my experiences dealing with assisted living facilities often I'm stuck dealing with people who seem like they hate there job or hate being around the elderly. But that most certainly is not the case here. A lot of the staff even volunteers and does there work completely unpaid. The rooms are another huge perk at the Masonic Home. Each and every room looks great. My grandmothers room has a flatscreen television so she can watch all of her television shows. She has her own telephone in the room so we can call her direct whenever we need to or she can call us. It also came equipped with internet access (although we had to provide her with the lap-top). The decor in there is great and the general environment is amazing. I would say that the part we love most about this place is that my grandmother still gets to go to church. She hasn't missed a day of church since she was a child and being here allows her to still do that. They offer a different type of worship service everyday and she absolutely loves that! There is also various activities for her to always participate in so she is constantly busy. Putting my grandmother into an assisted living facility was one of the hardest things I ever had to do but The Masonic Home of New Jersey honestly made it that much easier.

I am no stranger to assisted living homes. Having had a few relatives who have lived and died in them over the last few years. I've been to a few but I must say, the Masonic Home of New Jersey is by far one of the best. Of course what I look at first is the staff of any facility. This is my Aunt we are talking about; I need to know she is in good hands. I need to be able to trust a staff. Another thing I endure about this place is right now I am writing this from my Aunt's room as she sleeps. She is in her final days and the facility has allowed me to spend most of my nights with her. Their meals are three times a day and sharp as a knife. A lights out is enforced after 10 but also residents are permitted to sit up and read. Truly this is one of the better homes in New Jersey.

The experience we had while my father was a resident of the Masonic home was amazing. From the moment he arrived, we knew he would be in safe hands. The facility's common areas are wonderfully maintained and are incredibly clean. The staff are never adverse to surprise visits, in fact they welcome them. I have watched the staff interact with many patients and they are caring and patient regardless of the health isssues of that individual. They seem to be incredibly knowledgable. I was struck by the fact that they also seemed to be very willing to explain and discuss any concerns or issues that we had. They helped not only my dad, but the entire family with the transition and allowed my father to still maintain some level of independence. He was never treated like a child , but respected for his age and wisdom. I can not say enough about the level of respect that I have for this wonderful facility and their phenomenal staff.
