"I moved into Hudson Estates. I chose it because they didn't have any entrance fees and they were very cooperative on how much money was due at the beginning. It's new and I'm very comfortable. Everybody is very cooperative, very helpful, very nice, and very friendly. The rent includes 3 meals, but there are some days when the food is not so good. There's a good selection of activities and there's always something to do. I enjoyed the book club that I went to."

"When I was looking for a nursing facility/assisted living, I wanted to know is it clean? How are the aides? How do they treat people like us? Is the food good? And before I came here, I inquired about other facilities and I found that this one had the best reviews. I knew a lady that lived here in independent living and she loved it. I also talked to a friend who is an administrator at another facility, and she gave PPh a high review, so that helped me too.So now that I'm here, I find that security is great. Maintenance, housekeeping, administration are all very kind and pleasant.Some people are very engaging and keep me involved in the processes happening around here, it makes me feel more involved. I am on a floor with a few other residents that have dementia. Though my mind is great and my body not-so-much, I feel the aides handle me like I have dementia too. I do brush it off but it can be annoying sometimes. I do like to surround myself with people who can engage me (good conversation and laughter). Personally I'm quite happy. If I have a bad day, I'll just stay in my room and get over it, then later I'll go out and interact with different people. I would absolutely recommend this place. Compared to the last place I was, this is a 5-star hotel. "

"A wonderful facility for a true feeling of being at home and part of a family, Saint Mary's offers residents all of that and much more. This is a charming, nicely kept, and beautifully mancured lansdcape for residents to enjoy. Saint Mary's is Catholic based, offers many type of care ranging from independant, going through assisted, skilled, and also memory care. In my experiences with this community, there is true care for the person, their dignity, their health, and well being. The staff always appears above average in all ways.Being faith based, there is a beautiful chapel in which daily masses are held. For those unable to physically take advantage, the mass will be available to them by a closed ciruit tv. In speaking with residents who feel their faith is an important element to their well being, I recognize how valuable the pastoral offerings are...including rosary, and religious services. The care given to all elements of the residents is quite impressive. I have personally seen the comfort a prient brings by simply walking into a room of a resident if only to chat with them. Saint Mary's, especially for someone comforted by their faith, would be a wonderful living choice. I would highly recommend this warm, professional community. "

"My sister is at McCallum LLC. It is near our home. The room is fine. My sister likes it too. She has her own bathroom. So far, since she has been there, she has been in the room by herself, but there is a room for one other person. I absolutely recommend this facility. It is a nice community. It is quiet. "I toured The Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting. It seemed very accommodating, and it was clean. The staff was very personable. It was a new community. It was just built in 2020. The building was beautiful. I liked that when you went into the lobby, there was a fireplace and beautiful plants. It was very inviting."

"I toured Fountain View at Logan Square. The community was beautiful. My brother loved it. We loved the atmosphere, the restaurants, the library, the entrance, and how well they treated us when we came there. Even the guy that gave us the tour guide was wonderful. The nurse who came and did his assessment was very pleasant and very kind. However, we were not able to afford it. I thought that we would be able to get the room because I was going to financially help him. However, the money had to be in his account, so he was denied because he didn't have enough income coming in. The staff was wonderful with the tour, but when he set us up for the medical doctor, he gave the impression that my brother could get the studio because it was cheaper, and then by the time we came back, he told me the studio was $4,600. The upkeep was very nice, except they were still under construction, so it was a little messy. However, the rooms I saw that were already ready were very nice."

"I toured Echo Lake, and it was worth a six. It was like being in a luxury hotel. It was gorgeous. Everything that you can imagine they have, except for the chapel. They have doctors' offices. They have a gym. They had a huge art room, and a bus to take you places, like a weekly run to the supermarket, within a certain distance. Also, to doctor's offices if you didn't want to use the doctor that was there at the building. It's a couple of stories high. It was huge. For me it was expensive. They had a lot of two-bedroom units there as well."

"My friend likes the appearance. She said it's a friendly community, and she loves the food. They play bingo, puzzles and things, but she was isolated for ten days, so she hasn't done a lot yet. They also got a beauty parlor that's not opened yet, but they have a bus that takes them to doctors' appointments. They have really nice grounds where you can walk outside, and an out back area where they have barbecues in the summertime. It's in a very nice setting. It's a small community, and there's only 26 residents for each of the two buildings. It's very cozy once you get used to it, and it's very nice inside."

"They just completed the Renaissance Garden at Ann's Choice when I went there and it was filled already. I liked that it was all interconnected so you did not have to go outside the facility. If you were still driving, there were people who cleaned your car even in winter. There were housekeepers too for the house cleaning. "

"Southampton Estates is the one we visited and the one we like the most. I like the way the rooms were set up, I like the dining halls, and I like the swimming pool. I pretty much like the personnel there and how they handled things. They were good. Two people showed us around. There was one of the people that live there, and there were one or two girls that worked there, and they were very informative. They took us around and showed us everything. The tour was well, and so it was good. The resident there gave us a lot of insight on things. I would say their presentation was very good. I've tried the food there and the food was fine. The facility was excellent."
