"A wonderful facility for a true feeling of being at home and part of a family, Saint Mary's offers residents all of that and much more. This is a charming, nicely kept, and beautifully mancured lansdcape for residents to enjoy. Saint Mary's is Catholic based, offers many type of care ranging from independant, going through assisted, skilled, and also memory care. In my experiences with this community, there is true care for the person, their dignity, their health, and well being. The staff always appears above average in all ways.Being faith based, there is a beautiful chapel in which daily masses are held. For those unable to physically take advantage, the mass will be available to them by a closed ciruit tv. In speaking with residents who feel their faith is an important element to their well being, I recognize how valuable the pastoral offerings are...including rosary, and religious services. The care given to all elements of the residents is quite impressive. I have personally seen the comfort a prient brings by simply walking into a room of a resident if only to chat with them. Saint Mary's, especially for someone comforted by their faith, would be a wonderful living choice. I would highly recommend this warm, professional community. "

"My sister went to Philadelphia Nursing Home. It was well kept, and they seemed to be on top of everything there. I had to walk through the hallway to get to her room. I think she was up on the 6th floor. The place was really clean, and it was nice. The staff was very neat, too. She said the food was good, and her meals were on time. When I went down there, they were messing with water paints. They had some kind of board games over there, and magazines and stuff. It was a nice little recreation room. "

"I am the court-appointed guardian of a woman who has been placed at Tucker House. I have been very impressed with every staff person I have met. Each and every one I've encountered has been cheerful, caring and kind. Compared to the other facilities where I have wards, Tucker House gets the highest marks. I'm leaving activities blank because I don't have enough information yet to rate these. My ward says there's alot to do and she's happy, but I haven't personally witnessed the activities."

"My mom is in Cliveden Nursing. The place is nice and clean. I like it, and it’s nearby. Everything that happens to my mom, they call and let me know. They’re good. If you have any questions, they always get right back to you. I’m satisfied with them. I can’t think of anything for them to improve on. "

"The Watermark is a very lovely community. It's right here in the city and it's accessible to all of the theaters and the museums in the area and I like that. It's one of those places that have different levels of care with separate locations, active living which is what I'm still doing and if I progress to need something else it'll be there as well. The rooms are very spacious but it's quite pricey. The staff was very friendly and I liked that a lot. I definitely would recommend Watermark to others. "

"This facility should be recommended to others who are looking for a nursing home for their relatives or theirself. The staff there are efficient, courtieous and polite. They have activities for the seniors to participate, like bingo, arts and crafts. They have a hair salon where they t is could get their haircut and styled for the ladies, for men, a shave and a haircut. They give each residence a stipend or allowance for this service. The food there is healthy and served in the dining room, if the seniors want to go there, bedridden, their room. My brother has been there for a year and a month and it has helped him with his needs. It is a safe environment there for seniors who need nursing care. I recommend this facility. "

"A friend of mine is staying here. It is an excellent place. The staff is very nice, pleasant, and useful. I like everything about it, and so does my friend. He is in a nice and clean room. I haven't tried the food, but he seems to like it. They have all sorts of activities. They have physical therapy and games. They also have nurses on staff."

"I was at York Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I liked the rehab part of. The facility looked good. It was clean. The space just wasn't that great. There were three of us in a room, and the staff was very unprofessional towards other residents."

"My loved one is in Simpson House, and it is OK. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The apartments are spacious and homey enough. They have lots of activities, but she didn't participate because she is much of a loner. "

"Most of the staff was really kind, to me at least. You could sense that some of the people that worked directly with the patients on a day-to-day basis had a little less patience with some stranger like myself asking questions and walking around. No one was mean, or cruel, but you could definitely tell that the job took a toll on them. Regardless of how stressed out they seemed, I could tell they genuinely cared about the people they were caring for. I can't imagine they'd be doing it otherwise. The whole building was extraordinarily clean. The few people I talked to that actually lived there were extremely positive. They had really great attitudes toward their situations, and seemed to appreciate all of the activities that the staff provided. The painters and musicians particularly impressed me. "

"This Review is for Ms. Kim W. although my family member praises the facility. Thursday the 24th June. My husband and I were provided with exceptional help. My sister-in- law had just returned to Germantown Home after a short stay in the hospital. She did not know where all her clothes were, all clothing are labeled for each resident. I spoke to floor receptionist and the laundry department in which advised me they would look into the matter. I also spoke to the front desk and inquired but I also had a question about long term care. Ms. Kim just happened to be passing by I began to discussing long term care and she advised me to come into her office. Later my husband found me and we both spoke to Ms. Kim, Mary and Sheritta. All administration leaders were just wonderful and informative. Ms. Kim stuck out because she knows everything that was going on with my sister-in- law. She gave us options and knowledge for her future needs. After our in depth conversation my husband and I are now able to wisely think about the future or our loved family member. Ms. Kim was very nice, patient with our questions and released some of the stress on my husband and myself as well. I would advise anyone reading this review to go to the facility and observe the people who are running the place. Thank you again Ms. Kim, Mary and Sheritta."
