This facility is the best that I have been in. Clean rooms, excellent staff who cares and listens to your needs and PT department who works with you. They have activities that I enjoyed like bingo, tea parties, and my favorite was having live entertainment. If you need a facility please look into St. Mary's first.

St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare was clean. The doors were locked and monitored. If the patient needs an ankle monitor, they give you one. The building is older, but it doesn't smell. The beds they had there were more hospital beds. It's well-lit and well-painted. The staff is very friendly. They had a good public area where they engaged with the patients playing games. It was well-run and well-staffed.

This place is filthy, the place is very outdated, food is horrible and served very late, often dinner not served until 7 pm! Rehab dept. is awful, my mom often missed her sessions although she was supposed to have them each day. My mom suffered a serious fall there which was due to faulty, duck taped wheelchairs which were not even the correct size for the patient. Staff was more interested in social media and not helping patients at all. If you love your family member please do NOT send them here. The pictures are very misleading and look nothing like the actual rooms and facilities they show. Horrible place, just wants to collect $$$$ money from Medicare and not help or care for the patients or residents that stay there. Should get ZERO stars.

I went on a tour of St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare for my mom. When I walked in, the entrance was dirty. The rooms were tiny and congested, they were dirty also, and the floors were dirty. The maintenance crew or whoever's there should be fired, because they're really a dirty place. I wouldn't even recommend it at all. The person that gave the tour was very informative, she was great. The atmosphere of the place was cluttered. It could have been better as far as cleanliness, it was horrible. The staff was very nice, I had nothing against them.

I would not recommend this facility for sub acute care or long term care. The facility is very outdated, dirty, and looks nothing like the pictures they show. It is depressing and the common areas and rooms are not clean. The staff is over worked and some are lazy, while a few do try their best. My mom was at this facility for rehab and the physical therapy dept. didn’t try very hard to help her, and many of the days there she didn’t even get her sessions. My mom suffered a serious fall there that was their fault and they were only interested in covering their actions up. The food was awful and dinner was not served until 7 pm or later. This is a horrible place to send a family member and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The tour at St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare was good. They were very nice. I walked around the rehab center and physical therapy rooms. They were working with patients at the time, and they seemed good. The staff was very nice, very open about their facility, and had some good advice in terms of insurance and whatnot. Their rooms are just basic rooms, generally what one would expect from a rehab center.

To me, St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare kind of looked like a hospital. My dad would have a room, but he would be sleeping in a hospital bed. I also saw their independent living and the rooms looked great there. They only supplied two nurses though, but everything looked good in that area. It's just that when I got to the long-term care, even though they got a lot of nurses on hand, I think it looked like a stressful environment. The lady who took me was very informative and nice. She showed me everything. It looked clean. They had a church and a place where you could do physical therapy.

My mothers was in this rehab several times over the course of four years. She was in St. Mary’s which was great but this rehab was TERRIBLE. Some of the employees were amazing especially the nuns. My mother went in and out of congestive heart failure. But one stay she had broken her neck. A nurse became impatient with her and shook her! With a broken neck! The food was non-edible. She received food she did not order and loaded with sodium! I had to take her home made food then they would tell her there was no more left! It was amazing when the Diocese owned it but when they sold it? Became a money making only facility! Shame on them!

The administrators and supervisors of the rehab facility are a disgrace! COVID has enabled them to operate without the accountability of the watchful eyes of patients' families and has resulted in irrepairable harm to their patients. Never ever again! I'm disgusted by their inattention to our elderly! Shame on you! My mom died just over 2 weeks after being in your care. She died with the multiple wounds you helped to exasperate up and down on her left side. Multiple nurses and the doctors at the hospital were overwhelmed and flabbergasted by what they saw when you sent her off to the hospital. They couldn't believe that your staff allowed her to remain on her left side for such a lengthy period of time to cause wounds which required sedated intervention. The pictures that were taken by the hospital as well as those from the facility she came from before arriving as St Mary's proved the horrible abuse that my mother withstood! Readers don't be fooled by the five stars. Unless your loved one has a voice to advocate for themselves please beware for the sake of your loved ones! Those in charge of managing the staff should be ashamed of themselves for managing care so inappropriately!!

Around September of 2019 my family placed my Grandfather in this facility. The facility is severely understaffed. Sadly he passed away the day after Christmas and what I witnessed was an absolute disgrace. They did nothing for my Grandfather. He was slumped over in chair barley able to breathe and they had no clue as to what to do. They had no suction for him. No doctor was called in. No emergency help. No advice for the family, who were in distress watching the grandfather helpless and suffering. Myself and an elderly nun had to lift my grand father out of the chair and put him in a bed, he banged his head in the process, mind you he was suffering, we could have dropped him, family should not have had to do any of this, we are not health care professionals. If you want your family members to be well and die with dignity, do not bring them to St. Mary's. This place is horrible. He wasn't eating for a few days leading up to this. Why weren't we informed, why was a doctor not there evaluating him. This man was a WWII veteran as well and this is how he was treated. I have not seen anything like this in my entire life. I have seen animals treated better. When he was gasping for air I asked the Administrator, Steve, what they were doing to help my dying grandfather, he not only had no answers for me, he said we don't have the facilities to take care of him. So why did they not call 911 at least he would have died in dignity. He was probably dehydrated they gave him no fluids. Stay far away from this horrible place. If you love your family members don't bring them here. I am flabbergasted as to the way my Grandfather was treated in his last few hours and how the family members were treated. Disgraceful!!!

My mom has been in this nursing home for quite a while. And as many of you know, the nursing home was formerly St. Mary's Catholic home which was bought by new ownership. It is now St. Mary's Center. I have to say that I go into the facility every week to visit my mother. I am happy and impressed by the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. I am able to compare and see how good they really are because of my experiences with other facilities.. The nursing care is good, and the therapy department was my moms favorite place to be. She loved the staff. Lately they have been doing many renovations that are making the facility look even more inviting. I take my hat off to the new ownership for doing this and making it feel more like home. The one thing I do miss from the past is the nuns that were in the facility. They still have some but not as many as before. I just always thought they were a wonderful calming factor. Overall, St. Mary's is a great place to receive care for your loved one.

I did a lot of research as to where I wanted to go for rehab. A lot of friends and family recommended St. Maryss. I also saw that it was 5 star, and that was a selling point for me. St. Marys Staff went above and beyond my expectations. The care was fantastic and the Tender Touch therapy department was great! They helped me get back on my feet quickly and I couldn't thank them all enough. I highly recommend this facility! The concierge on the rehab unit was an extra bonus touch. She made it feel more like home for the time I had to be there. She would come in and check on me and make sure all my expectations were met. Thank you St. Marys you guys are great!

The care at the rehab has been nothing short of excellent. From the therapy department to the nurses and the nurses aids.

My mother was in here for physical therapy in the rehab unit. The therapy program was great and the nurses were too. We are now looking forward to moving her into the independent side at the Villa which is on the same campus.

I was really lucky to get my father into St. Marys. I know that he is safe and I don't have to worry about him in any way. I went there on Fathers Day and was so happy to share a beautiful crab cake meal with him... It was actually delicious. The employees are all very professional and kind. The activities department keep him busy throughout the day and I am so thankful for that.

My uncle is a former resident that stayed at St. Mary's for sub acute rehab. The staff was very attentive, compassionate, and made sure we had the best experience possible. He received physical therapy for a surgery he had, recovered, and returned home. All of the services offered were spot on, from social services, dining, therapy, housekeeping, and administration. I couldn't ask for better service for my uncle. I highly recommend St Mary's.

In June 2016 my Mother entered the Rehab to gain strength after a prolonged hospital stay. Instead, after her 30 days that Medicare paid for were up, she was sent home worse than when she entered. Home less than 24 hours she was re-admitted to the hospital with C-Diff, and that was the beginning of the end. We lost my Mother shortly after. The facility is severely understaffed. One day her nurse told me that I needed to make sure my Mother had her nightgown on before I left because my Mother gave her a hard time the night before. I witnessed the aide go from patient to patient with the same pair of gloves. I also witnessed a nurse being extremely verbally disrespectful to my Mother's roommate. My family and I would never recommend this facility for anyone.

This place is an old school nursing home. It's as though all the research that has created beautiful, enriching, and supportive caring environments for the elderly has completely passed it by. The mostly shared rooms are cramped and charmless. There are no meaningful activities throughout the day to engage the residents mentally and/or socially, leaving wheelchair bound residents who line the hallways few distractions, save a fish tank or a bird cage, depending on which floor you're on. There appears to be no distinction between levels of need, resulting in all residents being treated the same, based on the least common denominator. Our healthcare POA relative is alone in his belief that its religious affiliation is enough to make St. Mary's an acceptable facility. Trying to discuss care with various staff is impossible as they do not (a) answer their phones, (b) reply to voice messages, or (c) follow up on concerns expressed in face to face meetings. All in all, it's a very depressing place to visit, never name live in.

Services appear to be slipping since it was sold to a for profit group in Dec 2015. Cuts are apparent and experienced staff are leaving. May only be a transitional phase. Hopefully they can maintain or improve conditions. Was a very caring place for a love ones final residence.

I've been visiting my friend for 3 years now. It was always a great place to visit. The care was wonderful. Now it is so different. Within the past month changes have occurred not for the better. The staff is still very nice, but they are over worked. There have been cuts in staff. I see residents not being feed. One resident begging for water. They have also cut back on the activities. After 4 the residents are on there own. If your family member can't feed themselves dinner. Most likely they won't eat. I seen a man in his 90s giving his wife a bath in bed because no one was getting her ready for bed. Ever since the new people have taken over the nursing home things are just really depressing. It was always a wonderful place.

My mom is on the waiting list of St. Mary’s Catholic Home. It seems like it is a clean facility. It looks bright and cheery, and it looks like there is a nice variety of activities and a lot of caring staff. It has a good reputation. They have different buildings for the different levels of care. The rooms look nice. She will be sharing a room, but it looks nice. It’s a little bit more clinical, and it looks a little bit more like a hospital room than a little apartment, but that is because it is a nursing home. Every time we visited, it looks like they have activities going on, and they try to keep their residents engaged. It also has a very beautiful chapel which is nice and good grounds.

My mother was at St. Mary's for a month. What I like most about it was that I felt comfortable that somebody was watching my mother at all times. I knew they were watching her, and she got intense physical therapy there. The place was very clean. I never saw anything that I didn't like. They did a great job. I would recommend this place.

My friend recommended St Mary’s Catholic Home so we went to see it. It was very friendly, very well kept, and very clean. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and there were a lot of security measures in place. That was what we were looking for basically. We did get to check out the grounds and all of the amenities. It was very well laid out, very comfortable, very handicap-accessible, and very easy to get around. The exercise room was minimal, but it was enough that they could do whatever they needed to do. The dining area was very basic, but very clean. I saw one of the waitresses, and she was very nice. They try to accommodate whatever the residents’ dietary needs are. The residents said the food was very good. I did see a menu, and it was very varied; they had a vegetarian meal, a meat meal, and a fish meal. There were 10 different things that they could choose from.

I visited St. Mary's Catholic Home for my mom. It was clean and pleasant, the people seemed to be very nice, and the residents seemed to be fairly happy, but it was depressing, and we know all of these places are kind of depressing. They have rehab and a gym, but not as we would think of a gym. It was basically just a room with some equipment that the elderly could use and they were helping them to use. It was just an older facility. It was nice, but it was a typical nursing home. I’ve seen newer places as well as the older ones, and it was nice for an older place. The staff was very nice, very pleasant, and accommodating.

My mother is now in a nursing home and doing quite well. She is at St. Mary's Catholic Home. We transferred her there because it is close to the family. She has excellent care there. She is in a semi-private room and it has one bathroom. They have an excellent rehab program and she has made tremendous progress. They have a nice dining room. They have excellent food there. They have plenty of activities. They have daily Mass and rosary. Then they have bingo, they have musicians come in and they throw birthday parties. They have outside activities in the gazebo. They have quizzes and movie nights. Everyday there is like four or five different things. The facility is in the beautiful residential neighborhood. There are plenty of grounds to walk around. It is quite a large facility with different buildings depending on the need. My mother's nursing care is excellent. She has an assigned aide for each shift. It is nice because they get to know the patient. All in all I would give this place a 5-star rating because of their quality and consistency of care. The staff is very friendly. The administrative staff is friendly and very helpful.

St. Mary's Catholic Home admitted mom yesterday. We choose it because of its reputation and we when to talk to them they are great. The facility is clean. The employees are all smiling. The administrator and the people are wonderful. They call the residents there who walk in the hallway by name. Her room is very nice. It has a nice stand, a chair and an area for her clothes. It is sunny and it is by the window. We have lunch there and the food is very good. They are very fresh and tasty. They have activities for the residents.

It has been seven weeks since my 98 year old mother was discharged from St. Mary's Rehabilitation Center and I am happy to report that she is doing well. She appears to me to be more mobile and stronger than she was prior to her fall and hip replacement surgery. We are thankful for the capable and wonderful staff at St. Mary's Catholic Home for her present condition . My mother always looked forward to seeing her CNAs, Lani and Lucy who were caring and did their best to make her feel comfortable and to keep her spirits up. I can not say enough good things about them. Her nurses, Richard and Jun were always there for her, making sure she took her medication. Her physical and occupational therapists (too numerous to name) did their best and never hesitated to ensure her return to the level of mobility prior to her fall. June, her social worker and Edwin, her case manager went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. St. Mary's is the one place I trust to care for my mother should the need arise.

St. Mary's Catholic Home is a nursing home run by the Archdiocese of Camden. I visited this place for my uncle. This nursing home is in a lovely setting. The outside grounds are beautiful and well manicured. Regarding accommodations, I believe everything there is double occupancy and in some cases triple occupancy. They don't have a private room that my uncle particularly wanted. Also, when I asked about the payment issues, it didn't seem very flexible for us. This facility also is a much older building that needs repair. It looks like all the rooms need some good plastering, repainting or some fixing. I saw one bathroom/shower facility that was kind of old and the tile floor was all stained and that turned me off.
