"My friend will be moving into Complete Care at Voorhees. I visited several, and they just looked very friendly and clean. They have activities to keep her occupied. The other ones were nicer, but that one just sort of stuck in my mind. It's very nice, the upkeep was nice, and the people seemed happy. They have a social director that does activities for them. They had several rooms that had big TVs in them. There were two to a room and the rooms were a little more spacious than some I saw. They give you two dressers and half a closet to put your things in and you could bring some personal stuff, which was nice. They have a salon. They have the doctors there for everything she needs. They have physical therapy. I saw a lot of staff around, and I saw staff interacting with the residents. I saw a lot nicer ones, but a lot of them don't take Medicaid, and that's what she needed."

"I have read the negative reviews for this facility and feel compelled to set the record straight. My mother was cared for at this facility for the past six months. She passed on August 28 at this facility. This home is one full of nurturing and caring nurses and aids. It is a small home with a home like feel. I spent many hours at the facility. It rarely ever smelled, it was constantly being cleared; and, my mother was kept clean and cared for right up until her death. The first floor staff under the direction of Tom is an absolutely wonderful group of concerned and aware individuals. If you are looking for a place that allows your loved one to be active and engaged in activities, then this is really not the facility; however, if your loved one is unable or unwilling or without the energy to participate with the exception of human interaction with others, then this may not be the facility. Their nursing care, kindness, overall concern and interaction with the resident is excellent. When your loved one needs overall bodily care, what you are looking for is different than if they are still able to engage in activities. So, let's give Kresson View the credit for what they do well: care for the elderly. Thank you to Tom, Cindy, JeanneAnn, Tom (two), Travis and Tina for helping my mom to pass over. "My mother was admitted to Medford Care Center on the day of the major snow storm that never really happened. The staff was there to welcome her. She went into the facility dependent on oxygen, a peg tube, incontinent and unable to walk after a massive stroke. She left there with many friends, no oxygen, eating and walking with a walker. The nursing staff is excellent. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to administration was top notch. They all took an interest to the care that my mother received. She gained 10 pounds while there and was eating full meals when she left. She was walking with a walker when she left and made lots of friends with the staff! They are the best! "

"My aunt is at Lions Gate right now. It seems very well run; the food is adequate. The only reason she would be looking for a change would be to be closer to us. It's over an hour away. The activities are adequate. She has a card game going all the time. She plays mahjong but she's a very good bridge player. She's extremely happy there. She has a nice apartment. It's a 1-bedroom unit which is one of the smaller units. It was adequate for her and my uncle when they lived there and now, it's just for her. It has a small kitchen, a decent-sized bathroom with a shower, a washer and dryer, and a little balcony off the bedroom. "

"The people here are so easy to get along with. Physical therapy was very good and so was speech therapy. I only had one bad experience with a nurse. Everyone else was so nice and positive. Everyone that I dealt with came in with a positive persona. The activities staff came in everyday to make sure I was okay and offered me to join them in their events. They were very friendly as well. Every nurse and cna met my needs. It was easy for me to work with everyone. They matched my time frame and even when they were busy they were on top of the patients. I was concerned to come to this facility due to a poor experience at another facility but promedica went above and beyond to make me feel safe and secure. My room was cleaned thoroughly every day. "

"I visited Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Hill. The activities, the providers, and the things that I was looking for Mom were there, but I wasn't comfortable with the room situation. The staff was friendly and attentive. They would smile. Not everyone is perfect, but I felt the staff looked at the visitors and gave them a little attention, so it made me feel good. They did well. It was clean."

"Avista Healthcare takes great care of my mom. My mother moved into Avista in August 2015 (after spending five months in another nearby highly rated but terrible rehab facility post hip surgery). She is 91 now with mild Alzheimers in addition to the hip replacement. The staff keeps her busy and laughing. Her doctor takes really good care of her, and he calls me when there are concerns. All of the employees that I have encountered have been professional and caring. "
