"It was very nice and the apartments were also very nice. The staff who gave us the tour was very helpful. The dining area looked nice. People were singing and listening to somebody playing the piano. They have an exercise room and a craft area. The place was homey."

"I did a tour of All American at Washington Township. It seemed to be nice, and the people in the facility seem very happy. They had roommates, but they had a common living room. That seemed nice because they were able to socialize. They shared a bathroom. The only activity I saw was bingo. I know they had a hairdresser in there. The person I spoke to, Kimberly, she seemed very friendly. The people there really seemed to like her. They all spoke to her, and she seemed very involved with the people living there, which I thought was nice."

"Care One has a shower in the rooms which is great. My husband could shower whenever he wanted and as often as he wanted. He could also do the therapy every day. The place is really nice, and the people are friendly. They are willing to do his laundry for him. The doctors and the staff are nice. If I have to give them something to improve on, it would be the food choices. It may be more updated to current things like for people who are gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. I would give them a star rating of 4 because there are some things they can improve, but it was much better than the other place. "

"The Landing of Washington Square is a great place. It's beautiful. They have five different things going on every day and mom likes them. Yesterday they had a pickle-tasting. They also do chair Zumba every day, happy hour, and trips. It's a really top-of-the-line place. The food is OK. They offer choices for you. They'll take them to the doctors within ten miles and they allow pets. Everyone's very friendly."

"I am so thankful for nurses and the aids at the Mews. They go above and beyond . Kim schedules trips for them and even comes in on her days off. She finds cute activites and does them with the patients woth the help of Sarah. They make sure the unit is cute and decorated for every holiday. The aids are wonderful with the residents and i know they get great nursing care. Im happy my grandmom gets to call this place home and it guves me comfort knowing she is well cared for. "

"Juniper Village was recommended to me by a friend. I was amazed at the down home feel of the place and of the people that work there. My mom is well cared for and is kept very busy throughout the day. She even goes to Mass there every week. I am very glad to have found them."

"I toured Terraces at Park Place and it was very nice. This was a larger facility compared to the others. The corridors were a little longer. I thought they had a lot to offer in terms of amenities. My dad is still pretty sharp in a lot of ways. And I didn't think it would be a good environment for him to be around residents that require a higher level of care. I didn't want him to be in a situation where that could be where he's placed. I just didn't think that was a good fit."

"My mother has been a resident in the assisted living side of this home for about 2 years. She recently had a fall, and I was notified within 30 minutes! They took her to the ER via Ambulance, and I got calls from Riverview, the EMTs during transport and then from the hospital. She is back now in the rehab side of the home, and is being treated carefully and kindly. The nursing staff is excellent, they all seem to love their work and their clients. I have gotten all concerns addressed ASAP. The location is wonderful, right on the banks of the Delaware River. I live in another state (Mom's choice not to move out of her area, where she has lived since 1955) and there are 4 basic but clean and quiet guest rooms, for only $30.00 a night. This makes my visits with mom less stressful for me, and I'm able to participate in all her activities and dine with her (for a very small fee). I would highly recommend Riverview Estates. "

"Greenfield Senior Living at Cross Keys was one of my favorite places because the staff was very caring. The director was excellent; she was very knowledgeable and friendly. You could see that she was very caring and it wasn't a put-on. "

"I liked everything about Fountain View at Logan Square. The location was fantastic. They have a parking garage. The rooms were a nice size. They had a washer and dryer in the room. The rent was a little expensive, but the facilities were nice and clean. The person who took us around was wonderful. He knew his business. A couple of the other people we met were very good. I liked Fountain View. The food looked very appetizing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and they seemed to know the people that they passed in the hallway. They were friendly, and they knew about other facilities. They tell you, "You should try this one," or "Did you go there?" The atmosphere was very nice. Some of the residents I saw knew each other."

"Summit Place is perfect and clean. The service is great, and the people are accommodating and very caring. I will definitely recommend it to others. "

"Brittany Manor didn't provide respite care services. Going in there, it was more for people who are mentally challenged. Before I went in, there was a resident already asking me for money while I was sitting in my car, and then when I went in, there was another resident who was asking me for money, and food, and whatever I had in my hand. The person who walked me around was a five. My experience trying to confirm that I had a tour was a one or a zero. I called to confirm, and no one seemed to be able to confirm with me that they were aware that I was coming. They said they would get back to me, and no one ever got back to me, so I just wound up showing up, and the person who gave me the tour was very friendly. However, she wasn't necessarily prepared to provide a tour. The place was very disheveled. Whoever owned the place before, that signage was still up there. The facility smelled as soon as I got in the door. The staff pretty much mentioned this is for people who have mental disabilities. The room I saw wasn't dirty. It's just that everything looked old. Everything didn't look like it was maintained properly. That's not a place I would recommend for anybody. It didn't seem like the patients were even well taken care of. The people that I talked to on the phone were not professional in my book, and telling me that you're going to get back to me, and then you still don't get back, that was very concerning."
