Mom was at ManorCare Health Services – Cherry Hill. I have to say that the staff was really good and my mom received excellent care. The rehab part was great. She had a private room which was nice and it appeared very clean. But it was definitely old and the place needs updating. It's tired looking and it's kind of smelly; and that was the other thing I didn’t like about the place.

I would not recommend this facility. Let's be honest, most nursing home facilities are emotionally difficult to visit. As soon as you walk in the front door, the place usually smells like urine. I don't believe that there is a separate dementia ward, so there was constantly screaming and moaning throughout all of the hallways. My father was at the facility about 4 months. He said most weekends, he had to wait 30-45 minutes for a bedpan. He felt that the multiple departments did not talk to one another (rehab didn't know what the nurses were doing, discharge didn't have the right medications from the nurses, etc). Most of his laundry was lost and we had to keep bringing in more clothes. There was much confusion and surprise expenses resolving around multiple transportation (via ambulance) to several doctors, all of which was miscommunication and misquoted to the family. The billing has been an ongoing nightmare. At first, we were told that my dad would qualify for 100 days free with Medicare, only to be found after his discharge that we were responsible for thousands of dollars. Shame on us for not understanding our confusing benefits, but shame on ManorCare for providing inaccurate information and not communicating as soon as they knew something was wrong.

I am a patient of Manor Care in Cherry Hill, NJ and I am very pleased with the level of care I am currently receiving. All of the health care professionals responsible for assisting me in my recovery are wonderful. These folks truly are caring, compassionate and attentive people. They are always considerate, helpful and courteous. I believe they really care about me and are committed to helping me recover. The facilities are clean, well maintained and as comfortable as they can be given the circumstances. I am confident that my recovery will be due, in no small part, to the quality of care I am receiving. Thank You Manor Care Jim G.

My husband stayed at Manorcare Health Services. I was happy with the level of care that he got there. The staff and patient ratio were good.
