"My father was at The Philadelphia Protestant Home for 10 days of respite. He loved it. It was good. The community was very nice. Everybody was very friendly. He enjoyed himself for the first two days and then he got weak. He didn't eat like he was supposed to eat which made him weak. He stayed in his room, but they brought meals for him to eat. They tried to convince him to keep eating, which he did. He just didn't have a big appetite away. My father's room was nice. He had his own bed. Everything was like 3 feet to walk away from. He has his bed and his reclining chair, which he loves. They helped him get up out of the chair, which was great. He had a little refrigerator, which he never used. The staff members were perfect. They had a nurse and an aide. And when my father would go out in the hallway to visit people, he made a lot of friends there. The price was nice for the care that my father got, the activities they had, and the food they served."

"I toured Deer Meadows Retirement Community for respite care. My dad will be in their memory care. They had a room that was readily available for our timeframe as well as the cost out of pocket. I was very impressed with the secured unit as well as all the amenities that he would be able to have access to as far as activities. My concern was, that while he is home, he's inactive, but that facility has a lot of activities for him to engage in even though he is in a secure unit. I was very impressed with that. A lot of activities were more recreational. There's access to a pool table, there's access to an actual game room, and of course, just having the access to your private TV and things of that sort. A lot of those things pretty much impressed me. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. I had my son with me when during the tour, and they were very engaging with him. They explained to us that we would still be able to visit my dad during this time. They were friendly and welcoming when he went back for a second tour, so it was very nice. They also explained to us that in the memory care unit, you need a code to get onto the floor and off the floor."

"I thought Wesley was very nice. They remodeled the whole place since I had visited it years ago when the facility and orientation were much different. There were a couple of things that were very nice, like dining room and menu. One meal a day was included, but they also had a nice snack bar that you could use 24 hours a day, I think. The rooms were nice and quite adequate. "

"It is a not a new place but it's very nice and offers basically the same things as others. They have big rooms, each one with its own patio "

"We went to United Methodist Communities at Pitman. That was very nice, but my mom was overwhelmed with the size of it, 'cause there was like five or six stories to it, and elevators, and all kinds of things. It's nice and clean, inviting, and it's a warm atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. Even though it was older, it was clean, and it felt comfortable. The space was a good-sized space. I think we saw a mid-range room, but it was very nice. The outside was nice and kept clean, and they had a nice parking lot at the back of the building."

"My wife is in Spring Hills Post Acute Woodbury. It's a beautiful building. It's well appointed, well equipped, and well staffed. The staff is highly attentive. She's been doing rehab there, and she's actually getting better, so they're doing a really good job. The food, for an institution, is very good. Some days the food is excellent, and other days the food's just OK, but there's always plenty of food. I have no complaints about how they're feeding my wife."

"I have volunteered many times at the Deptford center and interacted with many of the residents. I felt that they were well cared for and quite happy with the facility. There is a lot of participation to the activities that go on in the center. Unfortunately due to covid restrictions I’ve been unable to assist in the center and look forward to returning to help out where I can."

"We chose Shady Lane because it is a nursing home and for the kind of care that my grandmother needed, that was a top priority for us. Also the location was within 5 miles from my home, so it ended up working out for us. My grandmother did well there. She did very well. It was close to her, so knowing that the staff there was local, she did know some people there. They were the staff who knew her from growing up, so it made it a lot easier for her. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with it. They do so many activities with them all the time, all day long. They make sure no matter they would pull her out of her room and say, "you're coming." They have a singer come in a couple of times a week. They take her down to the salon; they get her hair and nail done. They make it as comfortable and as homey as possible. It works out for my grandmother; they are really, really good. "

"Manorcare - West Deptford is doing a good job with my mother's memory care problems. They're responsive to our needs and her needs. They're taking good care of her and keeping her safe. It appears nice. They do a good job with its upkeeping. They do coffee, they have TVs, games, and people come in for church music. She seems to enjoy the food. It's pretty diverse, but it can be bland sometimes. The staff is great."

"I cannot say enough positive things about this nursing facility. I would refer Kennedy to anyone. The administration is professional, competant and caring. Sure, there will always be things are not perfect and that is just the nature of nursing homes. Until your loved one lives in a truly "bad" nursing home, you cannot understand just how superior this facility really is. "

"I was very impressed with the people who worked at Washington Township Senior Living. The staff took us around and were very helpful, caring and very friendly. They served ice cream and pretzels for us. The rooms were very well-maintained and tasteful. Their dining room was airy and bright. "

"My grandmother has been admitted to this facility multiple times for rehab where she was always treated with respect and dignity. Almost one year ago she decided that going home to her apartment was not the best choice for her care. As a big family we all decided that Manor care was the place for her. The staff treats her like their own family. She is provided care and ready for the day every morning at her wished time. She enjoys bingo and games in the activities department, she participates in resident council meetings where all concerns are made aware and addressed as soon as possible. The house keeping department ensures that her room is cleaned every single day, they come in with a smile and even stay to chat. Family functions are still capable due to the large lounges. The nursing staff has become a family to all of us. The doctors and nurses and nursing assistants make all changes and updates available to us right away! We know Grandmom is as happy as anyone in a facility can be, we are happy knowing that she is being properly taken care of! "

"My father is at Laurel Manor, and the care has been very good. He's fine with the food. His bed is always made when he's not in it, and his room is clean. They give therapy to him every day; sometimes he refuses, but they keep on trying. The staff is very caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. They always keep in touch with me with everything; any little thing that happens, they let me know. They have TV lounges and the dining hall becomes an activity hall. They have a nice patio that's all blocked in, so that they can't get out of it. They also had a nice front porch to sit out on. It's a small place."

"I selected this facility as I am a nurse practitioner and wanted the best care for my mother as she requires full assistance 24/7 for her rheumatoid arthritis and a recent wound. The staff has been doing nothing except meeting and exceeding my expectations. Grateful to have selected a facility so close to home and a peace of mind my mother is being cared for in a way I couldn't provide. "
