Spring Hills Post Acute is bright and beautiful and designed to assist elderly individuals recover while enjoying their stay. While other centers do not allow family to stay with the patients, this administration welcomed family members. The private suites had pull out sofa beds in the rooms for convenience. The food served at the Bistro was average but one could choose a made to order meal from a daily menu. The staff went above and beyond in providing me with exemplary care namely: CRNP Kelly, PT Stefan and Jester, RNs: Sister D. and Charlene, Concierge Annalynn, Aides: Kenny and Crystal, Activity: Mia, Tiffany, Vaughn, Bistro/kitchen: Hosefeena, Housekeeping: Kim et al. Dean from Administration was Top Notch in handling our medical concerns with prompt and efficient care.. Because of the outstanding staff, wonderful activities, immaculately clean and bright environment, excellent physical, occupational, speech therapy, and many amenities which all lead to wellness in life, I highly recommend this place!

My mom did not have good care there. Only half the staff knows what they are doing and they are short handed. They did not follow the hospital doctor’s discharge orders for care. We complained everyday and still her health needs were not met. The food is inedible…So bad that it was hard to even smell it. I had to bring her meals from home everyday. Upon check in, they took us to a room that had an old, far sunken in, plastic mattress with small holes throughout the bed linens. I couldn’t believe it! They moved us to another room with a descent bed but both smelled musty. It took several days to get her discharged after she had been medically cleared to go home. I would have given this facility no stars, except that the physical/occupational therapists were very good and most staff was very pleasant, even though they were partly under educated and very understaffed. I don’t even think an MD or DO ever saw her, but at least the PA was very good. Nurses were very inconsistent in knowledge and diligence. So that’s what the 2 stars represent. We won’t be returning. I don’t usually write reviews, but the general experience was awful.

My mother-in-law is at Spring Hills Post Acute Woodbury. It takes a long time for them to get any kind of help to the people. They just seemed like they were not on top of things. They are not what I would say top-care, but the caregivers seemed very nice and very good. The reason that the level of care is not that good is that they're understaffed and underpaid to be useful to their patients, but the people are wonderful. It's a nice place but I think it's too nice. Like they have the chandeliers and the high back chairs, and there are fireplaces but I think a lot of that could be more useful towards more aides and people helping people.

My wife is in Spring Hills Post Acute Woodbury. It's a beautiful building. It's well appointed, well equipped, and well staffed. The staff is highly attentive. She's been doing rehab there, and she's actually getting better, so they're doing a really good job. The food, for an institution, is very good. Some days the food is excellent, and other days the food's just OK, but there's always plenty of food. I have no complaints about how they're feeding my wife.
