"My friend is at the Deer Meadows for rehab. The staff is very accommodating, and she feels comfortable there. They try to accommodate the individual and meet their needs. There are not that many choices when it comes to their food. They have activities but they have a lot of COVID patients so nobody goes through any activities. I like the size of the rooms, it's an old facility but they're fixing it up. There are lots of gathering areas, there's a roomful of different birds or an aviary which is quite large. They have a gym and a courtyard, they also have a big area with a piano and they could go in there."

"I like Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park. The thing I like the best is they really take care of you. If you want something done in your apartment or you want your refrigerator fixed, they're right there, Johnny-on-the-spot, in no time at all. It's very clean, and the food is very good. The are all very nice. It's almost like you're part of the family. It's a very, very good place. I think it's one of the best kept secrets in Philadelphia because it has the lowest entrance fee that I have ever heard of and the lowest rent. It's a great one. I'm surrounded by older people, and it's very, very safe. I really like that. Nobody will bother you. They are very nice to you. You wouldn't believe how safe it is. It's unbelievable. I think I made the best decision in my life."

"I did a lot of research as to where I wanted to go for rehab. A lot of friends and family recommended St. Maryss. I also saw that it was 5 star, and that was a selling point for me. St. Marys Staff went above and beyond my expectations. The care was fantastic and the Tender Touch therapy department was great! They helped me get back on my feet quickly and I couldn't thank them all enough. I highly recommend this facility! The concierge on the rehab unit was an extra bonus touch. She made it feel more like home for the time I had to be there. She would come in and check on me and make sure all my expectations were met. Thank you St. Marys you guys are great!"

"I toured St. Mary Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare for Independent & Retirement Living. I like the fact that there's a Catholic church. There's a chapel there so she can go to mass every morning. There were so many things I liked about it. She has a private room, her own bathroom, and a patio outside. The residents that are there all look clean and happy. There's no odor when you walk in. The food isn't bad and my mother likes vegetables. The room is gigantic, it's nice. Everybody is likable. All the employees are extremely friendly. I have no problem with the employees. I have no problem with the place."

"Juniper Village at Bucks County was nice, and the inside looked lovely. Each apartment had a screened patio with a lovely view. There were trees everywhere. I have a small dog, so they said I could have an apartment on the first floor to let the dog out on the patio. It seemed very nice. The kitchen was nice, and the surroundings were lovely. They're going to redo my bathroom because I want a roll-in shower. The staff member who toured me around was great. She was very knowledgeable and very caring, and I was very comfortable talking to her. The dining room was very nice and had restaurant seating and restaurant-quality food."

"I have only visited this facility as a possible residence for an elderly parent. The main floor is currently undergoing a major renovation project, so there is disarray and noise, but it will be lovely when complete. Sharon Margulies gave us a very thorough tour and, having worked there for many years, answered all questions knowledgeably and professionally. Apartments are comfortable and the options of more advanced care on-site is advantageous. Many acquaintances have placed loved ones at Wesley Enhanced Living and it merits consideration."

"Freedom Village was fine for what it was, but we felt we were too young for it. We are in our late sixties, and my impression is it is maybe for someone in their late seventies or early eighties. It looked clean and well maintained though. The apartments we were looking at ranged from about 900 to 1700 square feet. We were looking for the larger ones for us, and they seemed fine. They have an exercise room and a swimming pool in the main building. The thing that they have the nicest is that they have a fleet of vans or cars to drive you to local places and pick you up. It is a nice feature. As for activities, it was hard to judge how much they had since we were there in the mid-afternoon, so it was very quiet. I just spoke with somebody whose parents went there, and they are thriving. They are doing better than ever. "

"This is a Nursing Home that has been in existence for many, many years. As you enter the grounds it is well landscaped and you see a large statue on the lawn. Upon entering the community you feel a warmness radiated by the welcome smiles from the staff. The care seems to be top shelf in that I observed many nurses, assistants, etc. going out of their way to accomodate their residents. I felt that my loved one was getting all that was needed to provide excellent care. I noted one thing especially that left a place in my mind and heart was during one of my visits I observed the staff observed a funeral service right there in their chapel for one of their departed residents. I found this Nursing Home to be very personal and accomodating to their residents and family members. I highly recommend Little Flower Manor. "

"I visited a friend at the Providence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was there for rehab. I guess the staff was okay, but I didn't really interact with them very much. They pointed me in a direction, I went to see my friend, and that was it. They answered my questions and cooperated, though, so it was fine. There were two people in her room, and it was adequate for two people. The upkeep and the cleanliness were adequate. The place was clean and decorated. They have activities because I remember my friend going down to play a game. I know they had some other things going on, but I didn't pay any attention to them. They were doing what I've seen being done in rehab centers. The parking was good and adequate. They had a regular dining area. It was adequate, and people could move around."

"My mother is in Yeadon Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Bedrock Care. She's stressed out about being in there, and the facility reminds me of a prison. The staff is not the best, but I guess they're doing the best they've got with what they're working with. She doesn't like the food. I looked at the food and I didn't like what it looked like either. They have a room with TVs in it. Her room is just a room. It's not dirty. It's not extremely clean. They got maybe two or three good people in there, but the rest of them I don't see them being that good. They're just there for a paycheck. My mom brings in $3,000 a month almost, and they give her $43 to spend, and I don't see where the $43 went in the time she's been there."

"Manor Care was the worst community for my mom . They dropped her on the floor and nobody even knew about it for an hour. They can't even tell me what happened, so I had to get her out of there real fast. And it wasn't even the staff that were at fault. It was more like the nurses they hired. I can't down fault the whole facility for a couple nurses that didn't want to do their job. "
