My father is at Laurel Manor, and the care has been very good. He's fine with the food. His bed is always made when he's not in it, and his room is clean. They give therapy to him every day; sometimes he refuses, but they keep on trying. The staff is very caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. They always keep in touch with me with everything; any little thing that happens, they let me know. They have TV lounges and the dining hall becomes an activity hall. They have a nice patio that's all blocked in, so that they can't get out of it. They also had a nice front porch to sit out on. It's a small place.

The last place where my friend was until he went back to the hospital was Laurel Manor. It was pretty nice. They kept the patients engaged in games, and they were well aware of who they were and what their problems were. The place was very clean and did not smell. It didn't even smell like a hospital. The staff seemed to be very friendly.
