I'm at Seaton Voorhees. The people are very friendly and helpful, but I don't like rules and regulations. You have to follow rules and regulations, but that's part of life. They have one- and two-bedroom and efficiencies, and I'm in an efficiency. The food is not great, but it's good. They have activities each day, like exercise and bingo. They're doing a very good job here. The staff has been great.

I like the fact that Seaton Voorhees is more independent living with assistance. My parents can age in place, and the price was something they were able to afford. They only paid about $3600 upfront, and that just had to do with the community fee. They were running a special where my parents got the second and fourth months for free. They seem to really like it there. They have three meals a day, a beautiful dining hall, and a lot of activities for them to do. They have exercise classes every day, arts and crafts, cooking classes, puzzles, a library, and a game room. They are going to be building a movie theater for them, too. For the ones that can still do things, they take you to the mall across the street, and you can get things delivered. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Whenever you need things, you just have to call the front desk. Things are usually done for my parents. When they first moved in, they got a brand new toilet and brand new front door. They have a chef that makes their meals three times a day. If they can't make it to the dining hall, they can have their food delivered for a small cost. It's $5 for the whole day for all three meals per person. If you come and visit and want to stay for lunch or dinner, they have an extra area in the dining hall. It's a private area where you can sit down with your loved ones and have meals with them. They encourage you to do that. Their apartment is very roomy. It's wide enough for walkers and wheelchairs. They have a walk-in shower, and everything that they need. If you're looking for something that's affordable, this would be the place. They really take care of everybody there. They have housekeeping once a week. They provide quite a lot there for them that is included in the price.

When my mom moved in at Seaton Voorhees, it was great for the first month, and then things started to quickly change. Apparently, they were for sale, then they finally got taken over. The new owners have, within the past two months, started activities again, like providing bus services. It was probably a few months into her stay where everything started to go downhill. The food is terrible now. It was a constant complaint of my mother as of late, and actually of the entire community. I know that they're going to begin doing renovations to it. It's in need of some help. It was clean, but it was a little rundown. They had bingo and crafts, they had entertainment come in, and they do internal things like fundraisers for St. Jude's Hospital. They have horseracing and bible study. They do your linens, and they do your housekeeping. You get three square meals a day. I know they're working on trying to get the food better, but it was certainly a value for the money. The staff was amazing and they really are finally getting their act together. I think a lot of it had to do with the transition into the new ownership, and then having to find a general manager. COVID didn't help out matters either.

I toured Yardley Commons and it's probably a very active community in the area because the mall is still there. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and it looks like it's easy to get in and out of. The facility was very clean and very nice. As far as I'm concerned, the rooms are extremely small. I'm coming from a 4-bedroom house, and they were like a bedroom and a bathroom and that's it, so they were really small. The upkeep of the building looks like it has been very well maintained. It looked like all the rooms are nicely painted. We were there right after a snowstorm, and everything was shoveled and cleared. The entryway when we went into the lobby was very nice and bright and cheery, and it looked like it was very well-maintained. We didn't get a chance to try their food, but their dining area looked very nice. They have a separate dining room, too, if you wanted to have family members come. The staff was very nice and very apologetic that our appointment got messed up. But she was a very nice, and she took us around to the largest of the rooms and explained what was included in the cost. She was very, very nice lady. The place looked very nice.

I toured Yardley Commons. It went well. My mother needs medical support, and they have it for an additional fee. The staff was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. It was very clean, and very well maintained. The dining area was spacious, very clean, and very neat. The laundry room was kind of small, but they do have an activity room, they have a pool table and a card game table. It's well managed in terms of activity. In case of fire, placards were placed, you had to do a temperature scan to get in. They were COVID sensitive.

My father has moved into Yardley Commons. When I first walked into the place, all the residents that were there were very happy, and I could see they were being attended to. It was just the whole atmosphere; we could not do enough. It was very clean, as far as I can see, and the rooms were clean as well. The staff was very helpful and very informative. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I dont know the food. So far, I'm satisfied, it feels like home.

I like Yardley Commons. I talked to a couple of people from there. It was very welcoming. The staff who took me around was very nice. It was very inviting and they had a lot of stuff going on and a lot of stuff for them to do. They had activities all the time. They had a good amount of people there already. It was a very nice facility. They're very friendly, accommodating, very helpful, and explained everything. They showed me a couple of rooms that they would potentially have available like a one-bedroom or a studio. They showed me the common areas and the cafeteria area. Everything was very accessible, very neat, and clean.

Yardley Commons is a great place. I would love to be there, but I cannot afford it. The staff who did the tour were very good. It is very well done. I like everything about it. They have full amenities. They have everything you need. They have a pool too.

Yardley Commons is a great place. The intake person was very personable and knows all the residents by name. The facility appears clean, and we like that they will provide meals for my mother-in-law. With regard to the apartments, they're replacing the toilet, the carpet, and the paint. It appears to be the perfect size for her. It's in a great location.

Yardley Commons was nice. The staff was very inviting and informative. They showed us a model room, and the activity areas where we saw some of the residents. It was a good facility, and it's clean. We also tried the food, and it was OK. The only issue for my mom was that it's not a diabetic diet.

We toured with Yardley Commons. It was nice but my sister wanted something closer. The residents were friendly. The one who entertained us was well-spoken and was willing to work with us. The facility was nice and clean, and the room was spacious. I like the way things were set-up. She showed us the different rooms on the different floors. She also showed us the laundry room, the kitchen, she told us about the ground rules, and what we can and can't do. We are able to visit any time of the day; they did a great job. The staff was wonderful. They were very efficient, and straight to the point with no hidden stuff. I did not see anything out of place. They were prepared for whatever.

We toured Yardley Commons for my brother. We liked it very much, but we are trying to find a place that might be covered by Medicaid. It just seemed like very good energy. The people seemed very alive and connected to each other. The tour leader was very good. The rooms were very nice.

I looked at the independent living at Yardley Commons and they also showed us their assisted living quarters. My tour was good, all questions were answered and it was very nice. Their food is super excellent. The choices, presentation, and the taste was really good. I like that their dining area was set up with tables where you can sit where you wanted, and a lot of the tables were a group of friends. People talked to us and explained a lot of things. It was a very friendly community. I would have liked for the rooms to be a little bigger, but they were doable. I would have had to give up a lot of stuff if I choose this place. The staff who accommodated us there was professional and friendly and just wanted us to see what was there.

I visited Yardley Commons twice. The first time I went they showed me around. The second time I went to a luncheon, and I was satisfied with it. The food was good and the dining area was very nice. The apartment was a little small for my furnishings, but other than that I liked it. The staff member, Josephine, took me around and was nice and helpful. The outside was nice. I would consider staying there.

Yardley Commons was fairly new and looked very clean. The guide who showed us the place was very nice and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean. They had a very nice community room, lots of activities, and a nice dining room. The people there actually seem to like it.

My tour of Yardley Commons was very fine. They showed us all the various apartments and I thought they were well set up. They have nice facilities there. They have an activities and an exercise room. Overall, it was a very nice presentation. The place was definitely a possibility. They have a small unit, a bigger unit, and an even bigger unit, which were very nice and spacious enough. They have an area where they have a music and a game room. The grounds were nice. You can go outside and walk around the grounds. The facility looked nice.

Yardley Commons caters more toward independent living. There isn't a medical person on staff, so you would have to contract someone in. They had a list of nursing care providers in the area and they draw up a contract just between the resident and the health care service. I loved the place, but it wasn’t the best fit for my mother-in-law.

Yardley Commons was a good place. The rooms were really nice. The set-up was nice. They had enough space for you to put a queen size bed, a couch, a TV, and a dresser. It had a really nice layout. They people that assisted us were really nice. They had an activity calendar.

I visited Yardley Commons, and it was quite nice. It was very close to our home, and it would be very easy to visit our relative. It also seemed like that it was right across the street from a mall, which would give you access maybe to talk a walk. There was something nearby that you could access without having a car. I thought that was nice also. The location was absolutely perfect for us families to visit her. The place looked nice. She was a very pretty social person, so I thought it would be a nice fit. At that time, there were quite a few people milling around, and they all seemed friendly with each other and happy. I thought it was nice. it had a very high feeling and very open atmosphere.

The one I visited was the one in Voorhees, NJ, Yardley Commons. It was excellent. For everything a person who wants to live independently, it’s the place to be. They have buses to Atlantic City where you can go gambling. They have dances, they have card games, and they have a lot of activities. We had lunch there, and the food was excellent. They have studios, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms. Yardley Commons is close to the Echelon Mall where there is a movie house. You can go to the movies, you can go shopping, and it is not too far to drive. They have buses that take you there too.

Yardley Commons was very nice. I was in the office. and they explained everything about the place. They gave us a look around; showed me the different rooms, and also invited me to bring my mom to the casino. It was very nice, but my mom is just not interested at this time. They were very friendly, and very nice. They seemed very concerned, and caring. They took me through the dining room, and into the one-bedroom apartment; which was very nice with a kitchen, and a bathroom. They had buses that take them to different activities, and they also have activities inside. I believe they have assisted living, but it's next door. It was a very nice experience. I’d like to live there myself.

Yardley Commons was a very nice, very clean, and well-organized facility. It’s a fairly new building, and they showed me all of the facilities they have, including a beauty shop, a little store, entertainment and dining areas, and various rooms. I really enjoyed it. They have all kinds of activities and things that they do during the day in the building, bus trips to the local grocery store, card games, arts and crafts, and a big lounge where people can come out and watch movies or just regular TV.

The employees were excellent -- well-groomed, outspoken, and comforting. The rooms at Yardley Commons were small and that turned me off a little bit because we have large furniture, and I don't feel like getting rid of it. The rooms were small, well-kept with good rugs, and the bathrooms were well-suited for older people; there were holding bars were in place, so you feel safe.

I visited Yardley Commons within the last year. Everything is perfect. The rooms are very big. I've tried their food several times, and it was very good. The dining area is very nice and pleasant. As for activities, they have a gym, physical therapy, a library, a computer room, and a shuttle bus to take you places you would like to go. I like the restaurant food probably the best from Yardley Commons

My sister has been in Yardley Commons for the last two months. I really like it. The people are nice. My sister is only 69, so most of the places wants you to be somewhat older, but she is able to get in. The staff is very nice and very helpful. The room is adequate. They placed new carpets and new cabinets, and it looks really nice. The ground is clean, and it is in a nice neighborhood. They have activities like backgammon, computer classes, trips to Atlantic City, trips to the mall, and there is something happening every day. They have one nurse on call, but most of the people are ambulatory.

Yardley Commons was excellent. I had to say they have a nice facility there. Prices are very reasonable for what he gets, and if any place that’s the one place I would recommend for my friend to go to. The only problem with the facility is that it is a little bit away from his place. He doesn’t quite want to move that far away, but if that was near where we live that would be the best fit. It’s wonderful, and they have a person that is a greeter there. She is a resident, but she serves as a host, and she did a wonderful job. The food was the best.

Yardley Commons was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. The showed us the kitchen, the apartments, and the grounds. Everything was 5-star. Of all the places that I saw, Yardley Commons had the best chef and the best food, and I would like to have lunch and dinner there every day because I wouldn't want to cook my food anymore. I would like a chef do that for me. However, my mother is not ready to move into a 350 square foot apartment or able to go down to dinner and socialize with people she doesn't know, because she's not social. If I could go there, I would. I would freaking sign up!

My dad is at Yardley Commons. They have their own little apartments. My dad has what they would call a studio, so you go in and there's a storage closet, a little kitchenette, a refrigerator, a sink, and some cabinets. There is no microwave or stove in the room. Then it has a big open room that we have his living room furniture set up in and a single bed. He has his own private bathroom. They do all the meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there are snacks 24/7 set up in the dining room. They have activities. Sunday and Wednesday is movie night. They go up to the television room and they watch movies together. They have an activities room where they have Wii. They play bingo. We're very satisfied with it right now. The staff has been very, very helpful. They've been very helpful to get my dad settled in.

I visited Yardley Commons after being referred there by a friend who has a relative living there. I was looking to relocate my 89 y.o. Mom to NJ. It was very nice & seemed to have many opportunities for involvement in activities. People seemed very friendly. The rooms were nice. I did not choose it for my Mom simply because I feel more comfortable having her in a facility that has assisted living capacity.

Yardley Commons was one of the ones that were recommended to us. It was a very nice facility. It would certainly be one that I would consider. The only problem with it is that it's kind of far from where I live. That's one of the drawbacks. My sister and I got there at lunch time. At that time, we met some of their residents. Everyone was very friendly. It was very nice. We had lunch there and the food was very good that day. The staff was very friendly and very willing and enthusiast about helping us. I looked at their apartments. The living area and bedroom seemed perfectly adequate. Regarding activities, that day they had some poetry reading going on after lunch and that was very nice.
