I'm at Washington Township Senior Living. It's nice. The people and the aides are all very friendly. They have a very good itinerary every day for you. They go places like to the casino, baseball game, and they have a bus. During the week the trips are for medical reasons, and during the weekend trips are for personal stuff. It's a very clean place. They have a lot of activities to keep you busy. They have meals all day from breakfast until dinner. After dinner, the cafeteria closes, but you can get something all day long. They have an activity room, a TV room, and a fitness room for rehab. The staff is very good.

My dad will be moving to Washington Township Senior Living. It was very nice, the staffs were very helpful, and it's a nice environment. The apartments were like a studio, it's spacious with good drawer space. It has its own bath, microwave, and refrigerator. The restaurant was nice. They showed me a fitness room, salon, there's a little pub, and a library. I like the overall area, the activities, and the dining room. They're doing a little renovation right now.

For the most part, Washington Township Senior Living was wonderful. When my mother-in-law was there, she had a stroke and needed extra care. We just removed her from there because she has improved so much that she's able to care for herself. She was there for six months. They gave her therapy, managed her medicine, and helped her with bathing. She improved and developed some strength.

Washington Township Senior Living is close to me and my sisters, so it is easy for us to go there and visit with them. We've been to a couple of the other places in the area and found this one to have more amenities that suited my parents. They are finding out more things that they can do, there is something for them to do all day long, and they are working their way into doing those things, so that they are a little adjusted. The food -- I have eaten with them a few times -- is OK. The only downside is probably the room. It is one room, so it is really not that big. But if they are using the place right, they are not in their room all the time.

The staff of Washington Township Senior Living is responsive to me now when I complain about things, and they worked with me when they lowered the rent. The rooms are good. They are a nice sized room for a private room. They just updated everything where they put the new carpeting, and it has a nice cheery area to eat. They have a lot of activities, but they could maybe improve their activities a little. They have a rehab person right there on site. My dad is taking rehab now. If you pay $50 a month, then they'd give you rehab like one on one. There is either that or a group, which they call group community rehab. So you could go there, strengthen your muscles, and do your exercises right there. They have people who come in and do church services for them, and they have their own bus. Sometimes they do a lot of stuff where they go out on rides and actually load everybody on the bus during the fall to look at the leaves or look at the christmas lights. They'll do that, and if I don't tell them that I am taking my dad to the doctor, they'll take him to the doctor. Some places don't do that, and this place is about half a mile away from a major hospital and all the complexes and the doctors -- oncology, sleep apnea, urology, heart doctors -- are all within that half a mile. There is a doctor that comes onsite every Wednesday and checks you out.

Washington Township was a lot cleaner than the others. You didn’t have the smell of feces or urine. Most of the staff were very helpful. My grandmother lived there. However, when she passed away, they didn’t secure her belongings, and things that belonged to her disappeared.

Washington Township was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, and it smelled clean. There were no tissues dropped, or if something was dropped, it was picked up right away. The dining area was like being in a beautiful restaurant. It had beautiful settings. The rooms were more than adequate as far as space. If you need help you can always pull a bell and someone will come. If you wanted to have housekeeping, they provide for that. I was ready to move in myself to the one luxury suite because it was very nice. It was like an upscale hotel suite. I was very impressed with it, but we’re just trying to find something that’s local. I didn’t want to go too far out, so if I can go visit I can visit at a moment’s notice. They are very caring. There they had physical therapy and a library. They had a lot of different activities like day trips, card games, and a movie night. They have anything that you'd basically want, and it was only two minutes to the hospital. To me that was the most ideal place. The people in there all looked very happy and well dressed. They even have the dining rooms set up like it’s in your own house. You can’t ask for much more; that’s the closest thing to being in your own home and still have people that are available 24/7. It’s a higher quality facility for people who still want to be independent and still want to get out and enjoy life and not just sit in a room.

Washington Township was absolutely gorgeous. It was definitely a lot nicer than the other facility because it was newer. The place was amazing, but it wasn't a right fit for my grandma. The staff was very pleasant though. They seemed to actually enjoy their job. The rooms were very clean, very nice, and very well kept. The people there looked happy.

I was very impressed with the people who worked at Washington Township Senior Living. The staff took us around and were very helpful, caring and very friendly. They served ice cream and pretzels for us. The rooms were very well-maintained and tasteful. Their dining room was airy and bright.

I really liked Washington Township Senior Living when we went there. It was very clean. I thought it was more convenient if ever my mother-in-law wanted to go out. If she took one turn, there was a store and she would not get lost. The staff were very nice. I thought it was more than just an assisted living facility. They had medical staff all the time like doctors and nurses. When we were there, we thought that was a little too much. They also had a lot of activities for the residents.
