"I liked Summit Place very much. It was a smaller community, but it's not going to be the one for us. It has no gym and nowhere for my husband to continue his therapy. They would have outside therapists come in, but they wouldn't have anybody in-house. It had mini-fridges, which would have been plenty for him. They're giving you three meals downstairs, and Lisa was wonderful. We looked at menus. It had the little square breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the week that you can pick. There were two choices of breakfast, two choices of lunch, and two choices of dinner. They offered soup every lunch. He liked soup for lunch, so that was a plus for him. It's a very nice facility. It's not as elegant as the other facility, but it was a very homey place and had nice, wide hallways. They didn't have a giant dining room. They had a smaller room for other things, such as game time and dining. I think they had 40, not even 39 rooms, maybe. A lot of the people there, one of them was 103 years old, and a lot of people there have been there for a very long time. Their children even end up going there."

"I've been here in assisted living at Terraces at Parke Place and I'm satisfied. They're a little short of help. I have a very large room and I have furniture from home. The food is sufficient and we have choices. Each floor has a big library, a lounge, they have a beauty salon, and they do activities every day. They have transportation to the doctors. I checked some other places and this seems to be the best. They have cards, Bingo, and movies. The value is great."

"Had been working with another facility for 4 months, only to find out my mom did not have enough money. Now we are under pressure to find one she can get into and is nice. I made my husband tag along as we looked at 3 homes. By the end of the day I was quite confused. The good part is Renate at Echelon lake, She is the energizer bunny. She is kind, compassionate ,and an amazing sales person. We took the tour and noticed every one spoke to us. The rooms are the smallest we have seen but that is not as important as the kindness of the people in the facility. I took mom back a few days later for her to look around. She was a total grump but that didn't matter, renate doted on her and she finally came around. Renate gave her flowers and the staff provided a good lunch. We toured again and stopped to watch an Irish program in progress We noticed that the residents seemed happy and were participating in the program. Mom has not yet been excepted to the home We are waiting for a room to be available. "

"My mom moved into Tylers Mill Senior Living. I like it because it's more of a smaller type of facility with a lot of continued interaction with the other residents. The care and services have been great. The staff members were friendly. They have planned activities to keep them involved and engaged."

"I liked Brookdale Evesham's proximity to my home. They were the closest to where I live. I liked their rooms as well, but they just didn't have any availability. They're full capacity. We toured the main floor area. There were areas where residents could go and sit and interact with one another. Their units were very nice. They have nice courtyards where residents could go out and where they could plant flowers. We interacted with some of the residents who couldn't say enough nice things about the place and even encouraged us to bring our loved ones back. I thought that was a good testimony of the residents as we were touring."

"I liked the atmosphere at Woodbury Mews. The staff, Jean, was excellent, very friendly, and helpful. The apartment they showed me was perfect for a senior. It was just a studio but it would have been the perfect setting for my mom. The place was brand new and clean. They had music, bingo, a bar, and everything anyone would want. I liked the surroundings and the grounds. The whole place looked elegant."

"Overall, Spring Hills Cherry Hill was a great place. It used to be a hotel, which you could tell by the way they arranged it. They remodeled it nicely. It had a big lobby, and everything was done well. It had a good atmosphere and a nice fireplace. The staff was good and very friendly. There were people eating who looked like they were enjoying it. The rooms were nice and big, just like a hotel room. The activities were very nice. They had a movie theater and a library. You name it, they got it."

"I toured Spring Oak Assisted Living of Vineland. I had a very nice, long discussion with Matt. He answered all the questions that I needed to know for my purposes right now. It was good. The staff was very nice, and the facilities were nice. I saw the common areas, and they were very clean, very neat, and very open. You can tell that it was one of the better facilities. The grounds from the outside were very nice, clean, and well-kept. They had benches out front for the people that wanted to go out and get some air."

"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH HERE AT CAMBRIDGE. SUCH A SWEET AFFAIR. EVERYONE HERE IS SO CARING. YOU CAN SEE IT IN THE WAY INTERACT WITH THE REDIDENTS. I SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATE EVERYTHING THEY DO FOR MY MOM!"

"I liked everything about Fountain View at Logan Square. The location was fantastic. They have a parking garage. The rooms were a nice size. They had a washer and dryer in the room. The rent was a little expensive, but the facilities were nice and clean. The person who took us around was wonderful. He knew his business. A couple of the other people we met were very good. I liked Fountain View. The food looked very appetizing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and they seemed to know the people that they passed in the hallway. They were friendly, and they knew about other facilities. They tell you, "You should try this one," or "Did you go there?" The atmosphere was very nice. Some of the residents I saw knew each other."

"We lived at Riverview Estates and liked them. However, it was too small. We had a very nice room, but I needed more room. The food was a little better, and they had more activities. The staff was really good."

"The staff seems nice and pleasant, and I feel that it is the right location and right facility for my uncle. We've tried the food and it was great! My uncle's room is fine and he's happy when he moved in. "

"Woodview Estates Assisted Living is very nice, but it's a little too far from where we live. The marketing person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. She explained to me the Medicaid and vet benefits and all that good stuff. She was very knowledgeable about how to afford the place. It was a little tricky, though, because they give you a baseline price, and then whatever type of care you need, there's an additional amount of money. So, the first cost they give you looks good, but then that's baseline. The staff was wonderful. They're very welcoming. However, at this place, you get an empty room, but you have to bring your own furniture."
