"We toured The Philadelphia Protestant Home. The multiple dining rooms that we saw were very clean. The rooms are nice sized. It's literally like a little community inside of the building. They have a lot of amenities. They have a supermarket, a church, a bowling alley, a pool, and a fitness center. They have nursing stations on every floor. They have security cameras. It's very clean. It's super nice. The staff is very friendly. Our tour guide was very nice. We were informed that the staff has been there for over a few years. The facility treats its staff nicely, which in turn treats the residents nicely. It's like a little family. They were very pleasant."

"It's a beautiful place and they have all levels of care there. I really like it and I got the studio apartment. It looked beautiful and nice. It has just about everything that you could want in there! We went there on a Sunday, so I only met one person, but she was so accommodating and we were treated very nice. It's a very clean place. I'm very pleased with it. What I really like about this facility is that there is this one button that the residents just push if they needed help. The button tells the staff where and who you are (who pushed the button). For example, if you fell or you need help, they will automatically know where to send help. I have not tasted their food, but just looking at the place you know the food's going to be good; you can tell. They also have 4 little dining rooms on different floors and the dining rooms are very cozy. "

"The people at Wynwood were wonderful. They were very accommodating. The rooms were very nice and the facility itself was very clean. The area was very nice. There were hospitals and parks in proximity to the facility. However, it was not strictly a memory care facility. "

"Its been about a month since we moved my mother into the Stapeley facility of Wesley Enhanced Living and my siblings and I are a very pleased. Mom's declining memory and other cognitive skills required a transition to a facility with expertise in memory care issues. The move from personal care at another Wesley residence to the Bridges unit at Stapeley was seamless. Patrick and his team helped my mom stay calm and eased her anxiety about moving to a new home. My mom has been much more active and is benefitting from a more structured daily routine. She even loves the food! Mom's journey continues in a safe and caring environment."

"First impressions are lasting. Walking in to some of these assisted living facilities can be somewhat depressing. When I entered Sunrise in Lafayette Hill there was a flurry of activity and smiles from the residents. It seemed like an upbeat place to be. I am in the process of finding a place for my Mother and want the best. I have visited several other places and by far Sunrise had the best feel. All the employees I met on my tour were kind and welcoming. I liked the fact that most of the employees have been there 5 plus years. That is a bonus!!! Happy Employees equal happy environment and most importantly happy residents. Thank you for an above average experience for a rather difficult chapter of my life.. Finding a place that will help take care of a woman who gave me life and took care of me!!! "

"I helped my Aunt Kathy "move in" to this facility and then had later visits here. It was just before Christmas and they were busy putting up great decorations in the foyer. The building was very nice and they had a piano right in the hall. The staff was so great, they were more than helpful offering a cart for her belongings and personally walking us to her room. They stayed and made sure she had everything and even brought extra furniture for my aunt. They were also sure to check with her about any favorite snack she may want to feel more at home. They went out of thier way to make sure she was happy and comfterable. "

"I would give New Seasons a high score. Liz did a fabulous job and I had a great tour. They showed me around, talked to different people, and it was nice. I liked the facility very much although it was a good distance away from where my dad is right now. The rooms were nice and bright, the residents seemed happy, and they had some activities going on. "

"We have chosen Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting for my mom. She just moved in. We toured it before. It's a nice place. They have been very helpful and very kind. They were very helpful with the move. They give us any information we want. The place is beautiful. They have a lot of amenities for residents and for visiting people under different circumstances; when we didn't have the COVID virus. You can see it's a great place to visit and spend time with your loved ones. The staff is very helpful and very professional. My mom's room is a one-bedroom apartment. They have a variety of rooms. This one has a bedroom; it is a separate room. It's a nice-size room in a care place like that. They have a theater, a pub, a library, and an art room. They have multiple places. Some of the rooms I remember would be better for visitors than for the residents. The library and the dining hall are very nice. It's a big place with a lot to do in it. The theater is really nice, but it isn't being used. I think Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting is only at 25 percent capacity because it's new. It is not really filled up with people, but it is a nice place. My mom, who is a very picky eater, was very happy with her dinner yesterday, and lunch and breakfast today."

"My mother and I went to St. Mary Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Lansdale yesterday. We liked it very much, so we're going to enroll there. It was a very nice place. They have a special dementia section and she's going to move into that part, but the whole place was very nice and very clean. They didn't seem to have a lot of staff. It seems like there's a shortage because of COVID. Patients were walking around and they seemed to be engaged, but not active because the people we saw were dementia patients. The indoors are kind of like a circle and the rooms were arranged that way. They couldn't get lost as long as they were in that memory section, which was the Camilla area. They had an outdoor section for them, a very nice dining room, and they had aquariums to look at. There was a book room in the regular section for the residents who had other issues or maybe were just retired. They have a very nice library there. One man had his toy train set up in one of the lounge areas, so that was nice. They let him continue with his hobby and one can bring possessions from home if they're not too large. The rooms were a nice size. They were a little bit bigger than most hospital rooms. Mom will have an armoire, two dresser drawers, and a table for her television. She'll have an in-room telephone, which is extra. The setup is very nice and they were able to get her in right away so that was great, too. They're having a special right now. The $3500 a month is a special rate and that's for any of their units. We walked through the regular part, too. Everything's on one floor, so it is spread out. It's a big campus, but everything is on one floor, which to me is more of a safety thing, especially with old people, of which I am one, because they said a lot of the people there are in their mid-70s. I looked at it as a place for myself in the future and I would go there. I would live there definitely. The staff during the tour was very good. The nurse who spoke with us, Rebecca, I'd give her a 5 also. The paperwork is not overly onerous. They just want to make sure that we understand the limitations of COVID. They don't know what to expect. They don't know what's going to happen next and we have to be willing to accept the risk of what could happen, including food shortages. They even mentioned that in the paperwork and that's honesty because we don't know what's going to happen. They have outdoor spaces even for dementia patients. There's a small area where they can sit outside and it's fenced in with a nice fence. It's not like a prison fence. For the other people, there are plenty of outdoor areas for them to sit."

"Mom is in Silver Springs at East Norriton, and it is very good. The thing I like the best are the people that work there, the nurses, the staff, and the CNAs. Hospice comes to take care of her at the facility. The food is definitely above average. The windows are old, but the care is what's important. They had live music, a movie theater, and bingo. They hit a ball over a net with a balloon you put in the pool. They had art classes. Value for money is excellent. The size of the rooms and the layout are wonderful."
