"We are planning on moving my mom to The Beacon at Gulf Breeze. I've seen it and I liked all the amenities they had for her. I liked the people and the staff was kind. They have a memory care facility, which is something she needs. It was a good and clean place. I have also tried their food and it was excellent. I was treated wonderfully by the staff during my visit. They are very kind and very understanding. It was just a great experience there. It's a big facility and they seem to have what they need. It's also sectioned off well. There is a whole section of people who can get around and do things on their own, and then there's a section for those who can't. They keep that separate, which is a good thing, so I was impressed with their layout. I like the way that they didn't have everything all mixed up."

"We got a great and pretty immediate assistance from Navarre Gardens. The people are very helpful, and they've been taking pretty good care of my father-in-law. We haven't been able to visit recently because of COVID protocols. They had a resident that's positive, so they locked down the facility, but they seem to be doing really good in keeping them safe. The facility is brand new, and everything is real clean and pretty nice. The staff is very friendly, too. They even loaned us furniture until we're able to furnish his room. My father-in-law says the dining area is a pretty good social area for them, but since they've got into lockdown, it has been closed, and they've been letting the residents eat in their rooms. They have movie nights, a courtyard for them to walk around, and different social areas. When they're not under COVID protocol, they try and do a get-together, like dances or just different events that bring them out of their rooms and socialize with each other. He's been there since early December, and we feel that they've been pretty awesome. "

"We toured Country Place Senior Living of Foley. The tour was good and the facility was great. The main issue that they had was that they were set up as studio apartments, and not as a one-bedroom like a separate bedroom with a living area, so that's why we're going to look at a one-bedroom apartment instead. It seemed like it was well-run or managed. It was a nice clean facility. There wasn't anything bad other than they're just set up as a studio apartment. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The facility is in a good location. It's close to shopping, restaurants, and medical facilities. They have a nice community room and a nice patio area. The kitchen seems nice, you can order breakfast specific to what you want. It's kind of a smaller place which my in-laws liked. It's got a nice kind of family atmosphere."

"Seagrass Village of Gulf Shore was very nice and very upscale with a lot of amenities. They were very accommodating and gave us a tour of all the different units and styles that they had available. The accommodations were very nice. They were as I expected for something fairly new. Fixtures and bedding and access were all very well done. There were studio and one-bedrooms that we looked at. They had organized activities, various planned events, trips, shopping, parks, cards, and pool activities. Physical therapy and occupational therapy services on site were very good."

"My mom moved to The Blake at Pensacola. I think it's great. It's clean. It's almost luxurious. She has a one-bedroom. So, her room is a pretty good size. It has a little kitchen area. I mean, no stove or anything but a microwave and stuff. The bedrooms are good, with a nice large shower, which is easy to get in and out, and enough storage space. The staff is very courteous, and plentiful. They're easy to get in touch with, very polite, and helpful. They have a movie night. They've got bingo. They have physical therapy services. They have a physical therapist who comes in and does an initial evaluation to check on things, and they have an on-site nurse practitioner and medical help if you need something. They also provide weekly cleanings. The dining area looks like a restaurant. It's very nice. They've got a menu. I haven't eaten anything there, so it seems decent, but my mom's very picky, so kind of hard to judge. It's cashless. So they reward them with virtual bucks, so that if they win like bingo and stuff they can use that. For the value, it's kinda pricey."

"I visited Grandview to see my great aunt before the Pandemic. She really loves living there. They have lots of fun activities to do and the staff are caring and loving towards her. "

"The last 7 years my brother has been living at LifeCare Pensacola. The facility itself has a warm atmosphere. Shelly, Kelly and Octavia are nurses that help support his needs and are quite good at figuring out his personality swings ( that sometimes can get highly verbal ). (Destini, his CNA!! also) The nurses also keep a close eye on any skin abrasions and treat appropriately. He brags about the food, and I agree, Mr. Pat and food preparers do an amazing job. Upon entry to the facility, the reception desk workers are friendly and make me feel welcome! The housekeeping staff also are pleasant and friendly! The maintenance staff seems to work hard to keep things in check. I would recommend this facility without hesitation. "

"Ronnie has greatly improved this facility. He has a great personality and a can do (ARMY) attitude. HE IS NEVER TO BUSY TO TALK TO YOU. He knows everyone by name and their needs. He has hired great staff in all departments. They are making it a really nice place to live with great group activities and good food. Keep it up."

"I went to Wesley Haven Villa. It was a very nice facility. It's probably about 20 years old. It's well-maintained. The food was really good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had activities and shopping days out for the people with a van. They had a couple of vans. The apartments were bright and clean."

"My sister has only been at Northpointe for about a week now and the facility seemed to be okay. Personally, I think they could have a little more staff, but most of them are helpful. The rooms are really nice and they keep it clean. I was able to eat there and I think their food could be a little bit better. "

"The Veranda of Pensacola is very nice. They had a swimming pool. I would live there in a heartbeat. They had two bedrooms and a nice-sized living room. They had a little bit bigger kitchen area. I really liked it. The whole atmosphere was good. They have a beautiful entrance and a nice dining room. All are on the first floor. It's all light and airy when you go in. The staff was great. They were helping people in the dining room and doing what they could. They had a little area where you could play cards. Everything was really good there."
