I went to look at Sodalis Cantonment's assisted living. They're friendly and seem cooperative. The community was nice and inviting. Overall, things seemed good, and it seemed like a good place. The lady who gave me the tour was very nice. I didn't taste any food, but the menu that I saw looked good. They have outdoor spaces and some books available, but I did not see a gym. The facility looked good. One thing they told me that I didn't like was if a person there is not able to have their meals in the dining room, they would charge $10 just to take the plate into the room for them. That's an additional charge, and I didn't like that.

We went to Sodalis Cantonment. It feels very institutional, it's not as inviting as the other one. But it was very clean, it smelled fresh. They were eating when we got there, the food looked fresh and appetizing. The people we saw, and the staff we met were all very supportive. It would get a five on everything else except atmosphere.

We went to Sodalis Cantonment. It was a little dark and had a little smell to it. The staff was nice, and very helpful. She took us on the tour and everything. It was less expensive, but my mom would not have been happy there. The menu was adequate, but it wasn't anything impressive. They seem to have plenty of stuff on the activities. I didn't observe anything, but on the list of things they had to do, there seemed to be plenty there. To improve, just clean it up a little bit and try to get rid of the smell.

What I liked the best about Sodalis Cantonment was the location because it's so close to where I live and my son and daughter-in-law live. It was right down the street. What I didn't care for was how tiny the rooms were. My mother and my sister have been together for many, many years, and the only way for them to both live there would be if they got their own little unit and there was no way of keeping them close to each other and it made it a lot more expensive for them to get their own unit. My mother was just completely turned off because she doesn't think she's old enough for something like that. She saw it as an old folks' home. It is a very small place. It's a very tiny location. They had a piano there. Somebody was out there playing piano. There were quite a few people in the common area. They just talked about some of the things that they do that they have there. We didn't really witness any of it. The staff was very informative and very helpful. They took us in what looked like a conference room first to talk to us about everything and then took us on a tour. I only talked to one person. I didn't talk to anybody else. The rooms seemed to be clean.

Sodalis Cantonment was very clean. The staff seemed nice. They had nice rooms and a dining area. They showed me the therapy room, the dining room, and the room where they have the activities.

We visited Sodalis Cantonment. That place was being remodeled, they're doing a lot to it since it's been recently bought. So you can see the improvements in it. The staff seems to care, the place was bigger than the other place we toured. The facility was clean and seemed to be well taken care of. They had a lot of activities planned on the board, and they had more room to do things. They had very few residents at the time because they'd just been bought out, and a lot of residents that were there needed more care than they were able to give. They have transportation for the residents if they wanted to get out, they could.

I toured Sodalis Cantonment. I loved it. The staff was wonderful. The facility looked wonderful. It was close to home, very nice, updated, and just very home-like. It made you feel like you were at home. The little apartments were nice, and you can bring your own things, so you feel at home. They have a nice courtyard that the clients could go out in. They have herb gardens, and there was even a little turtle that was almost extinct living out in the courtyard. They got to see him every day. It's just a very home-like place that I think my dad would enjoy. If he could come home, I think a place like that is where he would love to be. I've met three people. The director was wonderful. I also met a couple of nurses, and they were all great. I did not try the food at all, but it looked nice.

Sodalis Cantonment was quiet, small, and very clean. A company bought it up and they remodeled it. I thought the building was brand new actually, because they did such a good; detailed remodeling. You wouldn't know that it wasn't brand new. That part was very nice and the people were very sweet and kind. I thought it was a little bit small as far as the socializing areas. They have a garden area, but it's not real big, and it's not real shady. Being in Florida, you need more shade for being out there. It probably looks better in the springtime. It's near the airport, which is convenient. The lady that showed me around was very nice. She showed me through everything and clearly cared about the residents. We liked the floor plans. There's a studio and a one-bedroom that they showed me, and I liked that they also have additional levels of care that go up to level five for them. If you need more care, they can provide all five levels of care that they need. They allow pets, which is nice. I like that there's staff that works there 24-hours, and they do their laundry and stuff like that. They have a nice dining area. They have a physical therapy room, but they didn't unlock that to show me, so I don't know how big it was. I liked the location. It's sort of in an area that hasn't been overcrowded yet, so it's easy to get to. It's smaller, and because of the size they don't give you as much amenities outside. The area for public space where they sit and watch TV was relatively small also. My father-in-law is a big guy. He's 6'3", and he easily feels cramped, so I'd be a little bit worried about him. He kinda likes to see big spaces around him.

We have chosen here a we're actually moving in my mom today. They have assisted living as well as memory care. I'm getting actually two services in one, so I think I'm really getting more for my dollars on what they offer. I did tour the facility. It is amazing. The cleanliness there is beyond anything I've ever seen. It's really nice. Everything is just spink and span clean. The residents seem very happy. They have a garden that they can go out and sit outside that is secured. One room has two different rooms in it. It is a shared room, and then you have a common area. The rooms are very nice. My mom is getting the memory care service. It looks real homey. It doesn't look like a hospital or a nursing home. It looks like somewhere where you can come home to. The outside of it, as well as inside is really nice. I cannot say enough about the people there. They sat us down and went over everything. We had no questions after they got through talking with us. The courtesy, the kindness, and everything that they showed us was just amazing. It is just a wonderful community. I saw the full menu. What's on the menu is a very big variety. If that is not what the resident wants, then they prepare what they want. They really do take care of their people. The common area inside and out is so neat and clean. Everything is manicured. Even the corners of the room, everything is just so clean. There's nothing out of the way; everything is just perfect.

It was a nice place. I was impressed with it. The rooms were roomier than some of the others I've seen in assisted living facilities. The dining room was very good, acceptable, and nice. The staff was friendly and very personable.

It was a beautiful place, but my sister didn’t think my dad was ready for it. It was a locked down community, but the way they were set up, I really loved it. It was very nice for anybody with wandering issues, but the rooms were very small. The staff and the nurses were great. Everybody seemed happy.

I visited and I liked the staff and nurses. They seemed very capable. The food was excellent. It had a very homelike atmosphere. The room had a small refrigerator and a microwave with plenty of cabinets for storage, which was really good.

We have found a place and we're really satisfied with it. They're really attentive and they meet her needs. We feel like this is the best place for her. The facility is also clean.
